"Let me put it the language you'd understand, who's child, am I?" Selena dropped the bomb as the couple stilled.

" W... what are you saying, you are my child of course, my lovely, adorable, and........

" ENOUGH, DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT" Selena shouted.

"You were lying, and you kept lying to me...you kept lying for eighteen whole years.... why.....did you ever think of how I'd feel, DID YOU? Selena asked.

"H.....Honey c... calm down........"

" CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN? YOU EXPECT ME TO BE CALM? WHEN MY WHOLE LIFE HAS PRACTICALLY BEEN A LIE, YOU EXPECT ME TO BE CALM? REALLY?........Now tell me, when were you finally gonna fess up, especially you mum, cause I heard dad literally begging you to tell me, but you relented........so when were you finally gonna tell me?" Selena asked.

" My dear, please......"

"In another eighteen years.......oh or maybe when you get old and about to die?........Why?........especially you dad.....no scratch that.... especially you Sir, I trusted you, loved you, and still you never dimmed it right to tell me this until now? Selena cried.

" I'm sorry pumpkin...it's just that my wife and I couldn't have a child and when we saw an opportunity, we grabbed it, please" Mr. Wolfe tried to explain.

" Please my child......"

" STOP CALLLING ME THAT, I WAS NEVER YOUR CHILD TO BEGIN WITH" Selena said.

" I want the full explanation, you should be in the living room before I get there or else matters will get worse" Selena said as she shut the door on both their faces, leaving them speechless.........

Selena was trying to keep herself calm as her emotions were getting out of control. Earlier on, when she found out this big secret, she almost lost control of her powers but managed to hold back. The emotions were too much so she tried her best to keep calm, but it was not so easy. She sat on the bed, trying to be calm but so many thoughts were going through her head, she suddenly felt heat in her hands and when she looked down at her hands, she saw it was the purple glow and her crescent mark glowing brightly, and she knew that if she doesn't calm down soon, things were going to be destroyed , so she decided to take a cold shower to cool her head................ 

After freshening up and calming down, she went downstairs...........

At the living room, Selena and the couple were gathered as the couple sat opposite Selena, in an awkward manner..........

"So...........start talking" Selena said folding her hands, her face devoid of any smile.

"My chi...Selena, please forgive us, we just wanted to know what a child feels like" Mr. Wolfe pleaded.

" ENOUGH WITH THE APOLOGIES JUST......just tell me the truth" Selena asked already tired of everything.

" Well, it all started eighteen years ago when I and my wife went to the sixth priestess in our quest to look for a child................

BACK AT JASON'S APARTMENT

" Jason, come on bro, let's just leave, its already a week, your father must already be freaking out and you mum must be worried sick" Damien said.

"What? no, if I do that, I'll be leaving Selena behind" Jason said

"Exactly, that's the plan" Damien said.

"What? No" Jason refused.

"Seriously bro, what do you see in that girl" Damien asked.

"Uh, I see that she's my mate" Jasper said.

" Yeah, but she has darkness in her, I can sense it, I've been saying this, but you don't wanna listen. Eventually, she'll bring your downfall" Damien said.

"DAMIEN LISTEN!!!!! It's not her fault, she was born like that okay, only the Goddess knows why she made her like that, she is the one to everyone including you dammit. So if I were you, I'll start showing her respect because she can disintegrate you with just a flick of her finger" Jason said as he went upstairs to check on Kyle who was recovering rapidly thanks to Selena.

"Hey Kyle" Jason said. 

" Hey bro, what happened? I heard you shouting from here" Kyle said.

"It's nothing bro, how are you" Jason asked.

"Oh brosif, you have no idea, I'm surprised by my own recovery, I'll be back on my feet in no time, thanks to your mate, please help thank her" Kyle said.

BACK AT MR WOLFE'S HOUSE

"So, you're saying that my mum gave me to you and ran away and has showed up till now, wait, what about my dad? Selena asked.

"That we don't know of cause it was just you mum that we saw" Mr. Wolfe said.

"..........." Selena was quiet as she tried to digest all she just heard. She got up and started going upstairs, giving a deaf ear to the people calling her.............

SELENA'S ROOM

" Why, why would you abandon me, I don't know my mum, I don't know my dad, why are all these happening to me" Selena cried and cried that she cried herself to sleep not knowing that she was making a certain mate of hers uncomfortable..............

"Selena dear" A lady looking so serene and pure called out to Selena who was sitting in a dark and void place, nothing in sight.

"Yes, moon goddess" She answered.

"My dear I know you are hurt but don't jump to conclusions. Look deeper into it than guessing my dear" The moon goddess said as she drew a box shape with her finger, tiny particles of white light trailing and then suddenly a tattered looking woman came into view, and she looked exactly like Selena except the white hair and purple eyes. Selena looked and gasped at what she saw.

" Mum" Selena whispered as a stray tear fell out of her eye and just when she went closer, it vanished.

"Mum, mum, no, no, come back, come back, please" Selena shouted.

"My child, you see she's in this situation because she loves you. I wish I can explain more but the rest is for you to find out" The lady said.

"Wait, what of my dad?" Selena asked.

"Well, my dear that's something your mother will tell you herself" The lady said as she began disappearing.

"Wait where do I find her then?" Selena asked.

"You'll know in the due time my child, now do what is right" The lady said as she completely disappeared.

"Mum, dad, I promise to find you and seek vengeance for whatever they did to you, even if it's the last thing I do" Selena whispered as she started vanishing into the darkness.......................
