Chapter 12

Time had already passed since Wall Trost had been invaded by titans, and people where already battling them.

But on a building stood a boy, with brown hair that reached his neck and normal brown eyes; he just stood as his 'comrades' were being killed and eaten; of course, nobody noticed him.

'Now then how should I do this? Should I save someone and die? Or should I just die normally? Damn, these are the times having a coin is useful.'

'Sigh, the only thing I can do is wait for a chance, after all it would be a waste to die to a random titan. I spent years as Akira, there's no way I'm dying a simple death.'

With this in mind, Akira decided to join his 'comrades' in killing the titans, and would wait for a chance to 'die'.

"Oh, wait. Isn't this around the time Eren 'dies'?" Thinking of this, Kira smiled.

"I guess I can wait a little longer, after all this will be a good time to do a little bit of stuff before I die." With this in mind, Kira sat back down, undetected by those who flew passed.

- Some Time Later -

"What are you doing, soldiers?" A man spoke as he pushed a soldier.

"Arrest them!"

"B-But" The soldier, didn't know what to do in this situation.

"Try it peon, I'm the boss of the guild here" A different man spoke as he intimidated the soldier.

"Who do you think paid for the food all you soldiers crapped out?!" The man continued.

"Can you get enough money to feed all of the soldiers in this city?"

"Everyone, help push! The stuff in here's worth more than you'll ever make in your worthless lives!"

The whole cause of this was a trader who blocked the escape route with his wagon.

But just as he was trying to convince people to help him, a titan showed up, causing everyone to run.

But before the titan could kill anyone, a black-haired girl appeared and killed it.

This girl was of course Mikasa.

The trader, seeing Mikasa tried to get her to help him with his wagon.

But instead faced Mikasa's rage. After all, all of her friends are right now fighting to protect these people and trying to delay the titans until they can escape, yet someone is blocking the exit?!

Suddenly, as Mikasa was walking towards the trader, ready to attack him, someone else showed up.

Seeing the person, Mikasa stopped.

"Akira.." Mikasa spoke.

"Hehe, did you miss me already? It's only been a few hours yet you're already missing me? I'm truly touched Mikas-" Before he could finish, he was interrupted by Mikasa.

"What are you doing here?"

Ignoring Mikasa's interruption, he spoke. "It's simple, I was worried about you and decided to check on you, that's all, you ought to be grateful ya know."

"Hm?" Seeing the sword in Mikasa's hand, Kira realized what was happening here.

So, he took out his own sword and put it towards the man's neck. "Why the fuck are you still standing here, move before I fucking kill you." That's all the trader needed to hear to shit himself.

So with this, the trader moved his wagon out of the way, allowing everyone to escape.

"Hehe, I'm quite the persuader don't you think?" Instead of getting a response, Mikasa began to walk away, only to be stopped by Kira grabbing her hand.

Kira pulled her towards him and looked her in the eye. "Hey, Mikasa, I don't remember saying you could leave." Unlike his previous tone, which was playful, he once again spoke in a cold manner.

But Mikasa didn't seem fazed; instead she responded coldly, like she was used to it. "Right now our comrades are out there sacrificing their lives, this isn't the time to be playing around."

As she said this, she moved his hands off her hips and walked away.

Watching her walk away, Kira merely smiled. 'What an interesting person, not only did she guess my identify all those years ago but even now she doesn't show a bit of fear.' When Kira joined the trainee corpse, he saw it as an impossible task for anyone to realize who he was, but he was proven wrong only a year later.

Because one day as he was running, Mikasa came up to him, and asked him his real name; of course he played dumb, until she attacked him, which he dodged very effortlessly.

And as time passed, Mikasa became more and more certain that he was Kira (Lol, reminds me of DN now) And because of this, Kira became very interested in her.

After all, with his shapeshifting, no one should be able to tell who he was, unless they were stronger than him, and she clearly wasn't.

And since then he has stuck around her and tried to seduce her multiple times; of course this failed; but at least it made the years go by quicker.

"It's a shame though, at some point I'll probably end up killing her and Eren. After all I wouldn't like to see her with another man, nor do I need someone like Eren to continue breathing." As he said this, he began to follow after her,
