The Top Player Is A Commoner: A Gamer's POV

[You have received a new class] [Commoners class attained] "What!?" During the launch of an ultimate virtual reality game, an unexpected tradegy occurred. An explosion of highly concentrated energy intertwined with the Synaptic Interface of Rytec industries, the company responsible for the creation of the ultimate VRMMORPG. The burst of highly densed energy completely changed the fate of humanity transporting 70% of mankind into another world after shattering through the dimensional barrier. However they were those amongst them who died in the process. Reincarnated into that world with several of his classmates by a goddess for the purpose of saving humanity, Zedric acquired the lowest class of them all and as a result was granted a system which gave him the ability to control the shadows of all things dead or alive. Thus he became the Shadow Necromancer, he who is one with the shadows.

Decisions

"It's because you are all dead, you inferior lifeforms." With disgust, Aurora spoke. Her irritation for the human race became more and more noticable as she attempted to hide it.

"No way..." Anthony murmured.

"We are.." One of the 14 individuals uttered.

"Dead?" Zedric added, all became dumbfounded. Just before the light illuminated the sky, the last thing Zedric, Zach, Anthony and partially Siji remembered was preparing to take on the Red fury that had appeared out of nowhere.

Now a goddess came along telling them they had passed away. "What do you mean we are dead?" A voice said calmly from within the group, adjusting his glasses as he spoke. The goddess was a bit stunned from his behavior. The voice that spoke belonged to that of a 6ft 3 inches tall slender male named Wisdom, he donned a black silk tunic with blue pants and a pair of boots. His long hair which he packed into a ponytail was black and silky in nature.

"Oh?" The goddess uttered, in all her encounters with the human race she had never come face to face with one so calm and collective during dire situations.

"While you all immersed yourselves with the "revolutionary " VRMMORPG, an incident occured in the real world which transported all the players into another world. Well all the players except you unfortunate lots, you died before you even had the chance to be transported." She replied, feeling the need to explain their cause of death to Wisdom as he was the only one she felt it was worth conversing with him.

The rest of the players excluding Zach and Wisdom all gasped at the words of Aurora, the fact that they died was still a huge blow to their faces. However on hearing the rest of the player's were transported to another world it only rattled them more. Murmurs arose from the crowd and the goddess could only grin her teeth in anger. The only thing worse than dealing with a human was dealing with a bunch of teenagers.

"Let's say we believe you, let's say we did die, why?" Zach stepped forward, he as well was calm as ever. To him it was pointless making a fuss about dying because well they are dead. No amount of weeping and complaining or disbelief would resurrect them.

"Why what?" Aurora replied, with a rude tone behind her voice.

"Why bring us back!?" Zedric inquired.

"Oh?" Aurora was stunned yet again, are humans really all the same? After encountering Wisdom and Zach, Aurora began pondering on this very question.

"What made you assume I brought you back from the dead, this could be the af-" Before Aurora could even finish, Zach interrupted her.

"The afterlife? No that's not it. There are two assumptions to the concepts of death, once one passes away they either end up in paradise or in the pit of fire. This doesn't feel or look like the pit of fire. One would say this could be paradise, but given your behavior and the people present there's no way this is paradise." Zach replied.

"And what makes you so sure?" Aurora asked, curious to find out the root of his assumptions.

"Because there's no way in hell I'm qualified to enter paradise." Zach said plainly, crafting a smile on Aurora's godly face.

"I see, indeed there are those amongst your pitiful race that really are intriguing. What is your name..both of you." She asked.

"Wisdom." He said.

"Zachary Raymond." Zach answered.

Aurora chuckled staring down at both of them. She lowered herself down to the level of which the two of them stood and smiled at them. "That's right, I did catch the souls of you lots and brought you all here for a single reason. To save humanity." She said.

Murmurs arose once again. "Save humanity!?." One of the teenagers exclaimed.

"Save them from what?" Zedric questioned.

"You said the rest of the player's were transported into another world? Something's wrong there, isn't it.." Wisdom questioned.

"It wasn't only 70% of humanity that was plugged to your kinds useless creation that was transported, but the game itself. Perhaps I should explain in a more simpler terms, the game was transported into another world with humanities conscience trapped inside their virtual avatars and in that world it manifested and became a reality instead of a game anymore. Now to those trapped within the now realistic avatars find what's happening to be their normal way of life." Aurora said, she looked around to determine whether they were listening to her as teenagers were a pain in the ass.

"The game is playing out as a natural occurrence instead of a digitally made up storyline, which means if anyone should die over there." Aurora continued after confirming everyone was listening.

"They pass away completely in their original world.." Zach added.

"Exactly, now they can't save themselves since they have no idea it's not real. Fortunately for them, you lots died and now they do have a chance. Do you plan on seeing your loved ones again? Your mother? Your father? Then you have two choices to make." The goddess levitated above them once again and stared down at them.

"Save humanity or return back to the world of the dead where I'll make sure you perish for all of eternity." Aurora's voice thundered through the bright empty space.

They all remained mute, they were not sure of what to do. If the game really had manifested in real life then they would be at a high risk of dying given that everyone was new to the game and had no idea what to expect. But at the same time they don't want to die and be tortured at the hands of this so-called goddess.

Zedric chuckled and laughed a bit loudly which drew the attention of the goddess. "What's so funny you insolent creature?" She asked, highly annoyed that a mere human was laughing at her threats.

"What do you think we were going to do huh? Run away? Hell no!" Zedric exclaimed.

"We are going to save them, no matter what, no matter the risks we'll take it!" He added.

Zach smiled while the others just stared at the two confused as to how they found this situation entertaining. "Yeah, game on. O goddess." Zach said, looking up at the goddess.

The goddess laughed out loud, she really had never come across such humans ever in all her lifetime. "It's decided, you will be transmigrated into that world and save mankind. However you will need somethings before you go, something to increase your chances of winning." She uttered lowering herself back down to the level they stood on.

"One by one step forward, you cannot possibly exist in that world as regular humans so you will be transmigrated into it with the title "Player"." She said.

"Starting with you two; as a player based on your luck you will be granted a class and a skill in accordance with your class which will help you in your mission." She added, referring to both Wisdom and Zach.

The two stepped forward, two blue holographic board appeared in front of them with a handprint sensor being the only thing on it. They already knew what to do next and the two placed their hands on their respective sensors.

[You have received the Noble Class!]

A notification popped up from Zach's holographic board after he removed his hand from the sensor on the board. The classes were based off the games since they were returning back to it, only this time it wasn't virtually.

"Noble class? I was right, you really are a competent human after all." The goddess commented on his luck.

[You have received the Grand priest class!]

A notification popped up on the board in front of wisdom after he removed his hand from the sensor.

"What!?" Everyone was shocked, even in the game acquiring the grand priest was much, much harder than acquiring the Noble class.

"Oh?" The goddess uttered.
