The next morning arrived and the couple was awaiting Panam's and Grimoire's return to the camp when they see the Warhorse in the distance driving towards them.

The truck stopped before them and both passengers step out of the truck when Panam almost dropped to the ground because of her weak legs while Grimoire looked like he was proud of himself.

"I can see that you two had a lot of fun yesterday," says Nesiara looking at them with a smile on her face before she says to Panam, "You should get the pill after. The Parkers and Wyrms have quite a potent seed that can impregnate a woman easily the first time. You didn't several times going by your weak legs."

"Wait a minute, you left me alone with a breeder," says Panam looking at Grimoire who didn't know anything of what Nesiara just said.

"It is quite true even more so that the first pregnancy you could expect twins. If you don't believe me ask John. I had twice twins, our daughter, Nora, had twins as well and our youngest daughter, Celine, had triplets in her first pregnancy," says Nesiara giving Panam a warning so she is ready for what could happen if she doesn't take the pill.

"Anyway, we should get going, V needs us to deal with one of her problems," says John trying to change the topic while grabbing Grimoire's shoulder before he says, "Get some rest Panam and call your Joytoy using the phone I left in your tent."

John then disappears with Grimoire and Nesiara follows them as they appear before Judy's apartment complex. The people looked at them strangely because they appeared out of nowhere when John just glanced sideways making them all look away from them.

They proceed to enter the complex before walking the stairs up to reach the first floor and taking a right turn.

Nesiara knocks on the door when Grimoire asks, "What are we doing here?"

"Helping some friends as well as the person that you will replace as Hero if she refuses to keep this world safe because she just wants to spend the rest of her life in peace," says John seriously as he crossed his arm before his chest.

"And what are we going to do?" asks Grimoire when the door opens.

"You are here finally," says Judy nervous when Nesiara and John looked at her worried while Grimoire was confused about what was going on.

"What happened?" asks John when Nesiara saw Graves holding a gun at Johnny's temple while V was laying down on the couch shaking around in pain.

"It seems that Johnny made some trouble. What happened, Graves?" asks Nesiara looking suspiciously at Johnny while John put his hands on V's temple hoping that her brain wasn't melting.

Grimoire entered the room and sat on a stool before asking, "What is going on?"

"V is connected to an engram that is trying to form her brain to the conscious living with her at the moment," says Nesiara explaining to Grimoire V's situation.

"What happened the last few days?" asks John as he was trying to stop the Relic from reforming V's brain.

It took him five minutes to reconstruct V's brain which made V stop shaking around. John looked at her neck and wanted to rip the Relic out when Nesiara stops him.

"Remember," says Nesiara worried about V as well when John only sighs and he sat down on the couch.

"She is stable again," says John relieved which made Judy relax since she didn't want to lose another friend a week after losing Evelyn.

"I thought that I was going to lose her as well," says Judy relieved when Nesiara puts her hand on Judy's shoulder giving her hope that V wasn't going anywhere.

"How about you get some sleep while I and John look after her for a moment," says Nesiara sending Judy to her room so she could get some rest.

Once Judy was in her room Nesiara pulled her black scythe out and hold it against Johnny before asking, "What happened to V?"

"Johnny had a problem with V helping Judy instead of focusing on helping his wench, Cunningham," says Graves furiously wanting to kill Johnny but he couldn't since it would kill V as well.

"We have no time to play savior for some Joytoys. We should be fighting Arasaka instead of wasting time," says Johnny furious as well while Grimoire walked over towards John's side.

"With what is grandmother talking?" asks Grimoire not seeing Johnny or Graves thinking that his grandmother went crazy.

"She is talking to the engram named Johnny Silverhand and an A.I. named Graves. We can't see nor hear them but she can," says John to Grimoire while V was sleeping soundly beside him.

"She isn't related to us Crownguards, is she?" asks Grimoire since V has bright red hair and blue eyes which was quite usual in the Crownguard family.

"She isn't, but she could be going by her temperament and passion that she puts in everything she does," says John as he was containing his fury towards the Relic trying not to rip it out of V's neck before it is time.

"Now what should I do with you? Should I seal you completely away or will you finally cooperate without bickering around as I hope you would after what happened on the ship that I threw at Arasaka?" asks Nesiara in a furious tone as her aura manifested behind her.

Johnny could see the Grim Reaper behind Nesiara which has green flames as eyes and a giant scythe ready to reap Johnny at any moment. Johnny was sweating bullets not knowing that he could as did Graves who was holding Johnny as a prisoner at the moment since he never saw such an aura before.

"Now, tell me, are you going to behave?" asks Nesiara knowing that they didn't need Johnny to complete their mission just V.

Johnny was feeling the scythe on his neck which wasn't possible since he was only data on the Relic that V has implanted in.

"This is a waste of time we should just put a bullet in his head finishing this before he gets enraged again," says Graves hinting at finishing Johnny's life here and now.

"How about we bargain?" asks Johnny nervous seeing that both were serious about killing him.

"There is no bargain in this matter, Johnny. You either do it or we will deal with it in our own way without you seeing Adam Smasher getting mutilated by John since he called dips on him," says Nesiara as Johnny looked at John who only smiled knowing full-well that Johnny must be looking at him.

"If John is like his grandfather when it comes to torturing his enemy then you will be quite satisfied by the product John will produce," says Graves knowing how good Jack was when it came to torturing his enemy by toying with them before dealing the last blow.

"What do you say?" asks Nesiara rhetorically wanting to only hear one word from Johnny as her scythe cut into his neck.

"Alright, you all win," says Johnny giving up as he lifts his hands up.

"There will be no next," says Nesiara as she removes the scythe from Johnny's neck while Graves removes the gun from Johnny's temple.

"It seems everything was settled," says John to Grimoire seeing Nesiara's aura dispersed.

They waited for some hours until V woke up and she came face to face with Grimoire who was having her head on his lap since John was doing it before him.

She quickly attacked Grimoire using her Mantis Blades since she didn't know who Grimoire is when she suddenly sees Grimoire catching her blades between his fingers.

"I really don't want to wake up beside you if you wake up like this every day," says Grimoire in a funny way joking about V attacking him.

"Who are you?" asks V seriously since Grimoire could be someone that is out to kill her.

"He is Grimoire Valentine, our grandson," says Nesiara informing V about Grimoire who let go of the Mantis Blades.

"Nice to meet you," says Grimoire while V retracts her blades.

"Nice to meet you as well, I am V, but you must know that already," says V as she touches her head feeling a bit of nausea.

"You will feel those nauseous for a while," says John to V as he sees her holding her head.

"What happened?" asks V not remembering anything since John had to reset her brain for a bit.

"Johnny happened," says Graves appearing beside her.

"He got enraged with you helping your friend and made you collapse. I told you that you gave him too much freedom," says Graves seriously since V was giving Johnny too much control since they went to see where Johnny was buried.

"I thought I could trust him but it seems he is still an egocentric asshole," says V when Johnny appears before her.

"I wouldn't have acted that way if we could concentrate on the obvious and not derail to do some useless shit wasting our time," says Johnny with an angry undertone in his voice.

"I will remember that the next time you tell me to help your old chump, Kerry," says V seriously as V was trying to get SAMURAI back just for one more gig.

"Try to focus we have a briefing soon right," says Nesiara as she was the only one following the conversation between the A.I., the engram, and V.

"She is right, we can't have a conflict between us or you two will die and we don't want that even if we already have a replacement for V," says John cold making V open her eyes wide in shock.

John sees V's shocked face and says, "I thought you would want to get far away once you are done with Arasaka and the Relic. Take a break and recuperated yourself while enjoying your time before returning to your duties again. Until then Grimoire will be looking over this world."

Grimoire just waves at V while she wasn't understanding why John was throwing her out or at least that's what it seemed to her. John was like a father figure for V who didn't have a father that she could rely on and now the person she sees as a father was benching her out of nowhere.

"See it as a forced vacation in which you can enjoy some time with Judy once it is official between you two," whispers Nesiara into V's ears making her understand that John was doing it for her own good as they waited for the briefing to begin.
