Training with the Old Gang

"Magic," says Nesiara as she knew this feeling since she was young. It was a similar feeling but purer than her old magic.

"That's right," says Logan/Alfred as Jack suddenly brought an old Grimoire out and he continues, "It's Primordial Magic that flows inside you. It makes the purest form of Magic that now flows in you. Only five people before you had it including me and Jack. It is quite a privilege as it makes spells far easier to cast and control."

"Here is an old book that my father once gave me. It has every spell in it that you can think of. I mastered every spell in it and created new ones with its help. It should help you. Also," says Jack as he handed the Grimoire over and takes two syringes out with something in it and pinches them with them to insert something in their body while saying, "This should help to with some of the consequences of some magic that I researched in all those cycles. It was quite hard to perfect this since I'm my own lab rat in researching magic."

Nesiara was playing with her magic as it was more fluent and powerful than before she lost her gifts and says, "It's so much stronger."

"It is right. Compared to the magic of your world it is far more advanced than anything you have ever seen there. Even Void magic would look like a child play beside this," says Logan/Alfred as he suddenly had a sun in his hand before he destroyed it and continues, "But I should leave and you should hand me something over."

John then took a pouch with the Soul Stones out and hands it over and Logan/Alfred says, "Justice should have received your reward for this. Now then see you soon."

He then disappears as the others were talking with the former Acrobalenos who were now in their true form. Ichigo joined Yoruichi as she was lecturing him for letting his guard down while fighting when Jack says, "Maybe we should host a party at our home for your victory and their release of the curse."

John's stomach suddenly growled and he says, "Yes maybe we should I'm getting hungry."

They begin to move as Nesiara walked over to their friends and invited them as John walks over towards Ichigo and Yoruichi to get them as Jack already disappeared to prepare everything at home.

After returning with the others they found a feast awaiting them as they began to eat they exchange stories about their time separated while many were giving John quite a glare except for Hibari and Mukuro since they are similar when it comes to their conviction.

The very next day John was sparring against Takeshi and Ichigo at the same time to find out how strong they are as he uses his two two-handers to fight them so he can get a better feeling fighting with them and using his stance as well making it seem he was dancing between them with his stocky body.

Nesiara, on the other hand, was training with Chrome and the other girls. They were meditating raising their Ki making the girls stronger by a little thanks to Yoruichi's and Nesiara's help. Then she sparred with Chrome a little using sticks instead of using their real weapons.

John changed training partner after Takeshi and Ichigo felt exhausted as he was now hand to hand combat with Tsuna and Ryohei as he wanted to perfect his Royal Guard stance by blocking and countering them until he got a good feeling for it and started to fuse his Trickster stance with his Royal Guard style making suddenly shadows appear in his place blocking while he was countering from another angle.

"How did you do that?" asks Tsuna as he didn't pick up a difference between the shadow and John.

"That's a doppelganger," says Jack who was watching the sparring as he continues, "They are quite common for high-level Demons to use them. It must have been a little extra since you still need to learn how to use magic while Nesiara already knows how."

The Doppelganger walks towards John as both began a sparring session making Ryohei and Tsuna gap open at how fast they were moving when suddenly they disappeared from their sight and Tsuna asks, "Where are they?"

"Right in front of you," says Jack as he could see them fighting and continues, "After you learn to move at that level your eyes will adjust to it themselves. How about you two back up a bit from there and come over here before you get dragged inside."

They moved over and the fight between John and the Doppelganger stopped as it entered John's body again. Then he walks towards the house when Jack says, "So how are you going to compensate me for destroying parts of my courtyard."

"Can't you just use magic to restore it?" asks John as he looks back and sees some holes here and there with some burned grass.

"I could but it would only reward you instead of punishing you. Take the book out I gifted you both and learn a spell to clean the mess until then you won't be able to enter the house," says Jack as his hand touched the house and the walls flared up for a moment before they were back to normal.

John tried to enter but couldn't because an invisible wall was blocking his way in and he says, "You can't be serious."

"I am. Now learn how I did by reading and testing," says Jack as he enters the house while John was the only one standing outside while the rest was inside eating dinner together before John and Nesiara leave with Ichigo and Yoruichi.

John was reading in the Grimoire trying to find a spell that could repair the courtyard as he finds a simple one that would regrow the grass as well make the ground even again. He tried to use the spell but it was more difficult than anticipated as he tried to channel the mana inside him to do what he wants it to do.

Nesiara was watching him from inside and wanted to help him but Jack stops her saying, "He needs to learn how to use mana. It will be an easy way for him to adapt to it and learn faster. Even I learned magic because I had to not because I wanted to."

"It might take him a day or two until he can use the spell," says Nesiara as she was looking at how hard John was trying to use the spell but nothing happened.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. If he has my talent he should only take some minutes," says Jack as they watched and after half an hour the courtyard looked like nothing ever happened and Jack says, "See didn't I say he will only need some minutes. Magic is like science if you are good at one thing you will be good at the other too."

John then tried to enter the house and succeeded as he went to the kitchen where everyone was waiting for him as it was their last dinner together until John and Nesiara return to meet them again.

The very next day the six returned to Karakura and Ichigo said his goodbye since he went home while the others went to the shop only to find Tessai as the shopkeeper instead of Urahara.

"Where did Urahara go?" asks Yoruichi as she was worried about him.

"He is fine. He is working in Hueco Mundo right now for Soul Society. The Visored also returned and some got their former position back. Urahara rejected his former post as he would rather open something else that suits him better," says Tessai as he welcomed them back.

"Maybe I should also look at how Nelliel and the others are doing. Do you two wanna come with me?" asks John as Nesiara shakes her head.

"No, I will stay to train a little," says Nesiara as she rushed to the training ground while the other six people that lived in the shop were nervous while Tessai was just looking at the six while hiding his smile.

"I will go with you. I want to find out what Urahara is doing in Hueco Mundo," says Yoruichi as John opened a portal and they left right away.

They arrive at the throne room and find Urahara there as he was talking with Nelliel and Lilynette about agriculture when they saw John and Yoruichi.

"Welcome back," says Nelliel as she welcomed John and looked at Yoruichi while saying, "Welcome to you too. My name is Nelliel if we say it short. I hate to use the full name if it's not about official matters that I need to attend."

"This is Yoruichi she is a friend of mine and of Urahara. You will see her around once in a while until Urahara returns probably," says John as he looked for Starrk but didn't find him and asks, "And Starrk?"

"He is training the Royal Guards right now. They will be the ones protecting our new queen after all. He is the Royal Commander while I'm the Royal Adviser," says Lilynette as she pointed to the window to look out and there they could see a little group of at least 100 Arrancars being trained right now.

"How is Harribel doing?" asks John curious to find out as everything was going quite fast.

"She is doing fine but would most likely like to say it to you personally," says Nelliel as she glanced at him.

"I will meet her later," says John as he jumped down the window to meet Starrk.

"Reckless as always," says Urahara as he saw John jump out of the window.

Once on the training field that was made for the Royal Guards, John gets attacked by the Arrancars that were training. He dodges their attacks as he takes them out mostly with one move to the back head until he arrived at where Starrk was standing and says, "They need some more training."

"They do but for the first day I wouldn't really expect much from them. In a year they should be good enough and reach a high level that will take more than just one hit to defeat them," says Starrk as he was seeing the confused faces on his subordinates until he explained who John was.

After some small talk with each other he returned to the throne room to say his goodbye for now as he opened a portal towards Soul Society.
