The Reaper Appears

At the same time John was storming the Lobby, Nesiara, and the others, could see V and Jackie clearly thanks to the hole Nesiara created when she was a Giant Ape. The only disadvantage of it was that they could see them as well.

They opened fire upon them making Rogue shout orders to the pilot when Nesiara erects a barrier stopping the bullets in midair before they dropped flying toward the ground thanks to gravity making it rain bullets from the air.

The Arasaka Soldiers could see that small caliber couldn't damage the helicopter so they changed to other weapons and Nesiara says, "I will deal with those turrets. Get the bird down near V and Jackie."

"And how are you going to do that?" asks David when Nesiara turned into black smoke.

The smoke began to move toward the Tower and surrounded the turrets and the Soldiers using them. Suddenly a hand grabbed one of the soldiers by his head.

They could see a black gauntlet which was engulfed in black metal when they see a skull appear out of the smoke or at least it looked like it to the soldier. In reality, it was Nesiara using her skull mask with her new armor which she received from passing the trials to become the next Death.

These are vantablack clothes perfect for someone becoming the next Death while the pieces of metal running over the important parts of those clothes were blending pearl white mixed with vantablack making them shine in the dark in some places.

The clothes have a good which she was using to cover her head making her look like the actual Death which everyone believes looks like while her gauntlets were pointy around the fingers which went up to the elbows in one piece of the metal mixture which made it almost look like her hands were only bones since they could only see the blending pearl and not the vantablack part of it.

Her boots and legs were covered in the same mixture of metal which stopped around her thighs. Her breastplate was the same making her look like a skeleton. This made her look like she really came from the underworld to reap their souls personally as she slowly materialized through the black smoke holding one of her scythes already in her hand.

Almost all of the soldiers fell to the ground out of fear because they thought that the Reaper came to take them away personally some even shit their pants out of fear while thinking that they weren't paid enough to fight Death itself.

Nesiara seeing that her enemy lost their motivation to fight she threw the person in her hand away and went for the turrets destroying them with just one swing of her scythe.

Jackie himself was praying at the moment since he didn't know that it was Nesiara and so was V who was nervous with her back against the wall when they see Death approaching them.

Everyone was scared not knowing what was going on when Death suddenly lifted up one of the Council members. They were all seeing it and Death suddenly tighten the grip around the neck of the member killing him immediately.

Death turned towards them all and says, "I am here to reap the souls of those that think they can trick. Get in my way and everyone sitting at this table will die by my hand."

V and Jackie suddenly recognized the voice and sigh in relief now knowing that it was Nesiara that was standing before them and not the real Death when Nesiara walked toward Hanako and places her scythe on Hanako's neck.

"You know who I am looking for, don't you," says Nesiara in character when the Helicopter landed Nesiara now knew that the show was over and she cuts Hanako's head off while saying, "Your dear brother and father will soon join you."

This surprised Jackie and V who thought that Nesiara went a bit too far but Nesiara began to leak black smoke again and she was holding the other scythe as well before spinning like crazy while shouting, "Die! Die! Die!"

Nesiara killed almost everyone on the board of Arasaka leaving only a young woman which was feeling the white scythe on her neck and Nesiara says, "I hope you can lead Arasaka into the light as you were trying to do, Michiko Sanderson, or do you prefer Arasaka?"

"Sanderson sounds nice," says Michiko scared as she saw almost everyone dead on the ground without a head attached to their bodies when she feels the scythe leaving her neck.

"Good, just remember I will always be watching you," says Nesiara seriously before disappearing in black smoke again.

She left to go after Yorinobu while Rogue and her team get V downstairs to Mikochi when they hear Grimoire saying, "The lower floor is clear. Alt dealt with Arasaka with a bit of our help."

"The lobby is clear and my men are on a rampage clearing the other floors," says John confusing everyone since he was supposed to be alone.

"I am going for Yorinobu as long as he is alive we won't be completely sure about Saburo being really dead," says Nesiara as she was opening herself a way to Yorinobu.

"We secured V and Jackie and are on our way downstairs. John, will your men give us support?" asks Rogue seriously as John turned to Nobunaga telling him about the small group they needed to escort.

Nobunaga nods and John says, "They will help you. He sent one of his best to escort you and some men."

"Good, we are on our way, " says Rogue as they begin to move downstairs to meet with the person John talked about.

They were taking the elevator which only went to the third floor when they arrived they see a big man wearing a black Japanese armor holding an iron club who says, "You must be who I have to escort. Follow me."

They looked at the big man confused since he looked like he came from the Feudal Era looking at his armor when he says, "You can call me Shibata Katsuie or Oni Shibata."

Rogue's eyes turned blue going through her database when she found an old article about Shibata Katsuie making her eyes open wide since the man standing before he died at least five hundred years ago in Feudal Japan.

"Nothing should surprise me any longer but how comes someone that should be dead five hundred years ago is standing before me?" asks Rogue confused as Shibata walked away.

"It has been five hundred years since my death. But I am bound to my Lord and he was bound to his friend who seemed to have chosen a successor to lead his army. I don't know more than that," says Shibata as Rogue and her group followed Shibata through the bloody corridor with corpses laying all around the floor.

They continued walking seeing more men running around in Feudal Japanese Armor before arriving before John and a man that seemed to lead them. Shibata suddenly kneels and cups his hands together showing respect to his lord.

"Oni, you were my brother-in-law. Why are you kneeling before me?" asks the man and Rogue almost got weak knees since in the portfolio stood that Shibata was married to only one woman and that was Oichi which makes the man standing before her Oda Nobunaga.

"It seems your work is done," says John seeing that Rogue and her group arrived without much trouble.

"Then we will see each other when the time calls for it," says Nobunaga as he and his army fade away like they never were there in the first place.

John put Omega on his shoulder before gesturing to the group to enter the elevator. It looked small from the outside but once inside it became a bit larger and John presses on the last floor while using a keycard that he grabbed from a corpse.

Nesiara, on the other hand, had to kill Takemura who got in her way after she killed Hanako thinking that they betrayed him. She only stated that it is hard to betray someone who you never saw as an ally but as a tool.

She was standing on the top floor on which Yorinobu Arasaka has barricaded himself while calling for Smasher who wasn't answering his call. She cuts the door with her scythes cleanly open before entering the room.

Yorinobu begins to shoot at Nesiara but the bullets just fall to the ground after impacting with her armor. In the dark room they were in, Nesiara looked even more like Death as only the Blending Pearl Color on her armor which resembled comes could be seen as well as her mask and her eyes which seemed to penetrate through Yorinobu as he dropped to the ground letting go of his gun.

"No, I did nothing wrong!" shouts Yorinobu in fear as he wets his pants.

Nesiara walked toward him while saying, "At least your sister had some honor and died with it. The place you are going might be worse."

Nesiara swings her black scythe killing Yorinobu rapidly before going for his jacket to get the key card he was carrying with him. Then he walked toward the left wall and looks for a secret door.

She breaks the door and enters the corridor behind it which had a secret elevator in it and says, "John really knows everything but I would have been faster if I flew downstairs through the building."

She enters the elevator which only had two buttons one was for the floor she was on at the moment and the other to get to Mikoshi directly. It could only be used with the key card of the Owner of Arasaka who was Yorinobu at the moment.

She presses the button and the elevator begins to move when she presses the earplug and says, "Yorinobu is dead. We need to work fast since an even bigger army will storm Arasaka Tower soon."

"I will keep that in mind," says John while the face of V turned pale not from hearing that Yorinobu dying but because her time was running out.

"Are you inside?" asks John to Lucy who was a member of Rogue's team.

"I am but it is hard not to get fried by that Alt," says Lucy seriously as she received some upgrades from John when John walks over towards V and he removes Graves's data chip from her neuro link.

"Hey!" shouts V a bit angry while John hands Graves to Lucy.

"Graves will do his job once you are connected to Mikoshi. Just keep breathing or all this will be for nothing," says John to V seriously as the elevator opens and David, with Rebeca and Jackie, rushed out of the elevator to give V cover.

Rogue was beside Lucy making sure nothing happens to her while John helped V who was barely able to stand if it wasn't for her willpower she would already be on the ground.

They found corpses laying around everywhere as they continued walking when they find Panam and Grimoire waiting for them before Panam says joking about the current situation, "Johnny's output made quite a mess using the drones."

"She is waiting for the next move," says Grimoire seriously as they walked toward a sealed door that will only open after an in-depth scan.

"Graves is inside and waiting," says Lucy not knowing why Graves was waiting or on what he was waiting for at the moment as the door opened and they continued going forward.

They arrived at the second door which scanned them as well but John suddenly handed over V to Grimoire and Panam before saying, "You continue on going forward. I still have something to do."

They all looked at him confused when everyone had a pale face except for Grimoire because a walking tank was coming their way.

David and Rebeca were feeling flashbacks of what happened to them in the past while Lucy still wasn't over the trauma even with David back in her life. Rogue and Jackie thought that shit hit the fan and was hitting everything while Panam only heard stories of the person running towards them.

"It has been a while, Smasher," says John as Smasher runs directly into him thinking that John would fly away from the impact but Smasher fell backward as if he hit a wall.

He was confused when he looked up and scanned John before recognizing the hammer which was strapped on John's belt and he says in his almost robotic voice, "You again!"

"Aye, here to finish our business," says John as he looks at Smasher with a grin on his face and Omega resting on his shoulder.

"My wife will be pissed," says John as he takes a step forward only to see a scythe fly past him hitting the ground right beside Smasher.

"He is mine!" says Nesiara coming out from behind the door which the others opened and the grin on John's face only got wider.

"It seems you will suffer a worse fate than death. I hope you are ready for it," says John before leaving Smasher to join the others.

Smasher points his arm at John and tries to shoot at him but another scythe flies toward his arm making his attack miss when Nesiara and John walk past each other and John says, "Have fun."

"I will," says Nesiara as she stretches her hands out and the scythes fly into them while she says, "Let me show you are a real nightmare!"

Black Smoke began to leave Nesiara's body and she disappeared before appearing beside Smasher who looked at her confused before he realized that one of his metal arms was cut off and he hears, "I see that you aren't screaming. Good, this will make it more fun."
