The Bladekeeper

John soon arrived at one of the sources and opens his eyes finding black smoke standing across from him when he hears, "It has been long since somebody dared to enter this far into this realm."

"Well, I am not a somebody," says John as he soon sees the smoke take his form.

They looked at each other and the only differences between both were their eyes and skin as the Darkness had yellow eyes instead of blue ones and a darker tan.

"You remember me at someone I met before," says Dark John as he was sure to have met someone like John before.

"Maybe you have met my son. He is a Keyblade Master after all," says John as he didn't attack since his counterpart hasn't attacked yet.

"It could be but that was a long time ago. I can see that you didn't come to fight since your blade is still sheathed," says Dark John as he sat down.

"I want to know the truth behind the Thirteen Darknesses and the Seven Lights. You as one of the Thirteen Darknesses should know the truth behind everything," says John as Dark John was holding his chin.

"You want to know the truth but what do I gain from telling you the truth?" asks Dark John when suddenly a giant sword fell from the dark sky and it landed between John and his counterpart.

"If you don't tell him what he wants to know I will do so," says a powerful voice that resounded through the realm before it continues, "Touch the sword and you will hear the truth from me."

John looked at the sword which was far too big for a normal being of this world to fight with when John hears the voice say, "If I really wanted to do you harm I would have interfered with your travels a long time ago when you were on Gaia VII."

"Gaia VII?" asks John confused about this information.

"The world your daughter and son call their home," says the voice as John had suddenly his hand on Yamato.

"If you don't trust me why not ask Justice. He should know who I am if his memories are intact," says the voice as John looked at Justice.

"His voice is familiar but I don't remember who he is except that he still owes Logan a favor," says Justice as he was floating around John when Dark John begins to laugh.

"You think you can come here and try to snatch my prey," says Dark John when suddenly a bright light penetrated through the sky before a light beam hit Dark John directly making him turn into black smoke again.

John touches the sword and he suddenly disappeared from the Realm of Darkness when he found himself surrounded by a new Realm.

He was standing on someone's palm it seemed when he got surrounded by the spirits of Dragons from which he recognized one of them.

"Bahamut," says John seeing the Bahamut of Final Fantasy VII floating between two of the Dragons.

"Welcome to the Beyond, young prince," says the voice that called him there as he turned around and found out that he was on his palm.

"We all are Bahamuts but from different worlds with different purposes. You can call my Bladekeeper if it is easier for you," says the Bladekeeper as they all looked firmly at John.

"Can we even trust him with this secret?" asks one of the Bahamuts when the Bahamut of FFVII comes forward.

"We can if he really wanted to destroy our universe he wouldn't have helped my planet and left his children behind and he even sends help against Ultimecia of your own planet," says Bahamut of FFVII as the one of FFVIII looked at him.

"My question is, why did you call him, young prince?" asks Bahamut of FFVII looking at the Bladekeeper.

"He is the next in line to become the Godking," says the Bladekeeper as those that had suspicious glares towards John turned into curious ones.

"How do you know that?" asks John looking confused as the Bahamuts all begin to laugh from hearing him.

"We are the protectors of the Final Fantasy Worlds. That means that we know the Godking as our creators gave us the knowledge before either disappearing or took a mortal body like Dio," says Bahamut of FFVII knowing that John met with Dio before.

"But we are here to tell you about the Thirteen Darknesses and Seven Lights and not about our duties," says the Bladekeeper as he looked at every Bahamut as they suddenly began to radiate.

"You might have heard of the First World which was the purest of them all," says the Bladekeeper as John nods while an illusion of it was created in front of him by the other Bahamuts.

"And you also know that Darkness crawled into the Hearts of the people living on the First World. But what do you know about the First World apart from that?" asks the Bladekeeper as John soon was confronted with a question he didn't know the answer to.

"What if I tell you that the Seven Lights and Thirteen Darknesses were the First Keyblade Masters which were granted immeasurable power turning them into Summons. What if I tell you that the First World didn't get destroyed by the overwhelming Darkness but just split into different realms to maintain the balance," says the Bladekeeper as John was listening carefully to what the Bladekeeper was saying.

The illusion of one world made of pure light that was slowly getting overrun soon turned into five realms and the Bladekeeper says, "The Realms created were the Realm of Light, Darkness, Sleep, Between, and The Other Side."

"Still what have they to do with the Thirteen Darknesses and Seve-" says John when he realizes something.

"How can you know that if you are from the Final Fantasy Universe?" asks John looking at the Bladekeeper when he pointed at The Other Side.

"The Other Side was not created by the split of the First World. It wanted to create a world that wouldn't be influenced by Light nor Darkness so he rejected it and it split apart in two since becoming Quadratum and Destiny Islands," says the Bladekeeper as John was shocked by the revelation.

"If Quadratum is part of the First World it would explain why people that use the Power of Waking too often land there," says John as the Bladekeeper nods.

"What the First World didn't created was the Other Side the Final Fantasy Universe was in but it created the other realms to protect itself only to fail since Karma is what it created," says the Bladekeeper as that gave John a bigger shock.

"That means that-," says John as the Bladekeeper nods.

"Yes, your son was just some planets away from yours, but he was sent back in time so you couldn't get him even if you wanted to," says the Bladekeeper as he then points at Quadratum.

"The First World thought that it would be free of the conflict between Light and Darkness but its remaining power formed into Kingdom Hearts. That's why when Kingdom Hearts is summoned Quadratum falls prey to what they call Karma," says the Bladekeeper as the image changed from the five realms to Kingdom Hearts.

"Kingdom Hearts is the only thing that can fuse all five things again if used the right way and by the right hand," says the Bladekeeper as suddenly Leon and Sora appeared before him.

"One will bring the destruction of all worlds not knowing what he carries inside himself while the other is clinging on the past hoping to not repeat the same mistake again," says the Bladekeeper as soon the illusion disappeared and the Bahamuts were floating in front of John again.

"Do you want to say that Sora and Leon could destroy everything," says John as all Bahamuts nod.

"Yes, the First World needs to be fused again and the Guardian needs to summon his wife so she can take the place of the boy. She was born out of the Union of one of the Seven and Thirteen. She needs to absorb all Seven and Thirteen so the First World can be safe again as will be our Universe," says the Bladekeeper as he created two rings and gave them to John.

"What are those?" asks John not recognizing the rings as the Bladekeeper pointed his finger at John before a beam of light hit him letting the information sink into his mind.

"They will be helpful as they were to the other young prince that succeeded in the end," says the Bladekeeper as soon John was engulfed in Light.

"Wait, I still have so many questions," says John as the Bahamuts laughed at his hunger for information.

"We will meet once the time is right," say all Bahamuts at the same time as John appears on Destiny Islands holding the Yamato and the two rings.

He puts his ring on as he looked at the dark sky and says, "Thank you."

He looked around and found out that he was on the beach where they normally trained when John turned towards where the town was when he feels someone coming towards him.

He smiles as he knew that it could only be one person. It was Nesiara as she crashed into John who caught her into his hug while falling backward.

"I am back," says John as he holds her softly.

"You were three days inside the Realm of Darkness. Going by King Mickey's estimation that would be almost an eternity," says Nesiara as John scratched his head.

"I only stayed a week in the Realm of Darkness before I was pulled into the Beyond," says John as Nesiara was first worried since the Beyond was the place the dead would go.

"I wasn't dead. But I found out the truth behind everything. Or at least I think so," says John as he retold her the story the Bladekeeper told him in the Beyond with the Bahamuts.

"So we need our daughter-in-law to bring eternal peace between Light and Darkness," says Nesiara as she saw the ring John was holding in his hand.

She stretches her hand towards John waiting for him as he put it on her middle finger making it fit beside their wedding rings when he says, "Yes, but she needs to be revived at the right time."

"Don't we know the right time," says Nesiara holding a book which title said Kingdom Hearts 3.

"At the end, Kingdom Hearts is summoned and the trio fights against Xehanort. That must be the moment when everything is decided," says Nesiara as John smiles and kisses her.

"Then we should return home or they will get worried about why you fled the house," says John as they stand up and fly towards their home.
