Meeting Misty

Time passes and half a year passed since John and Nesiara started to train their groups and John was now teaching his group how to focus their Ki faster so they didn't need to waste time like before.

It helped them a lot as John didn't increase the gravity they were feeling since the fourth month while the children got their gravity increased by one every month.

John made them attack some targets he created for them which were quite durable. Too durable to be honest as even Piccolo had trouble with them.

"To get stronger you will need to get over the pain you are feeling right now. Your future opponents will feel like a wall made out of titanium. Trust me that hurts a lot more than normal skin," says John when he sees a portal opening before his eyes.

The others were seeing it too when John sighs and says, "Everyone, continue with your training."

John walks towards one of his clones and whispers to him while charging him with Chakra, "Take care of their training and keep continuing to increase the gravity on the kid every month by one."

"What about the adult?" asks the clone as John looks at them.

"Keep training their stamina and pain tolerance. And focus on faster releases of Ki. Teach them also how to fly and the improved Kaio-Ken. We don't want them to die," says John as the clone looked at Piccolo.

"What about him?" asks the clone as John began to think about it.

"The same we can't have someone die just because we still don't know his agenda. Also, not higher than two. I want to be there to make sure everything is going fine before they go higher," says John as the clone nods before he created more clones to help the clone.

Then he walks towards the portal when he sees Bulla and Gohan get too close to it. John pulls them back using the Force as he catches them in his arms.

"That isn't something you should play with. It is dangerous," says John warning them to not be that reckless.

"Sorry, grandpa," says Bulla as John kisses her forehead.

"It's alright, I should have been more careful," says John putting them down before petting Gohan's head.

He walks towards the portal again when darkness shoots out grabbing John's legs and arms before pulling him inside.

At the same time on the North Kai's planet, Nesiara was looking at the same portal when Master Kaio asks, "What lays behind it?"

"Another Universe without a doubt. I need you to send the others back before the Saiyans arrive on Earth if I don't return before that," says Nesiara seriously as Master Kaio nods when Nesiara takes out a rod and hands it over to Master Kaio.

"If they go overboard you hit them with the rod. It will help them in the long run and show them that they did wrong," says Nesiara as she goes into the portal.

Once inside she finds herself in Darkness. She sees another opening seeing Bulla and Gohan staring at the portal when they get pulled away from it.

She sees John holding them in his arms before kissing their granddaughter and putting them down. John walks towards when Darkness pulls him inside.

John came face to face with the new Nesiara who was wearing her mask when John looks at her surprised before he looked confused and then he realized who he was looking at.

"Nes," says John trying to confirm it.

"What John?" asks Nesiara as John took her into a hug.

Nesiara returned the hug and asks, "Did you also go through such a long and harsh exam?"

"I was trapped for two years. It wasn't that long for me. How long was it for you?" asks John as he felt Nesiara pulling him closer.

"Almost a century," says Nesiara feeling at home again as she had her home between her arms.

"I'm sorry that you had to go through so much to get back to us," says John as he removes her mask to kiss her when a portal appears in the Darkness.

"Where do you think will it lead us?" asks John as Nesiara just lifts her shoulders.

"I don't know, but many will fall to my new toys," says Nesiara cold as she summoned Heaven and Hell into her hands.

"Did you get them as I did with Sinner and Saint?" asks John curious seeing the guns.

"Something like that but you might refer to my scythes for that," says Nesiara looking down when John sees two scythes hanging from her belt.

"Those I got from Lorena and Jeanne while this," says Nesiara as her guns were engulfed in Green Flames before she says, "I received from Hel."

"You had three instead of two," says John surprised by that as they walked through the portal when they arrived at a big city which none of the two recognized as they were standing in front of a shop named Misty's Esoterica.

They see some crazy pun preaching to their right while getting dumb looks from the people around them. John and Nesiara looked around seeing modified people everywhere when they look at each other.

"Do you have any idea where we are?" asks Nesiara since John normally was like a walking glossary when it comes to a new world.

"No idea, but maybe we should get inside. I don't think he would send us here for no reason," says John as he wanted to put his hand on the door when it opened from alone.

"At least we don't need to open some doors around here," says John joking about it as he entered the shop with Nesiara who pulled her mask down again.

They find a woman with medium-dyed-blonde hair and natural green eyes shoveling some cards which appeared to be tarot cards. John and Nesiara looked around and the vibes they were getting was that this was a place in which people want to find out their future or want to get their life back on track with some advice from a Guru or Medium.

"Hi there, and welcome to Misty's Esoterica and Chakra Harmonization. How can I help you?" asks the girl behind the counter as John and Nesiara looked at her directly when the girl seemed to feel something.

She was shaking madly when Nesiara puts her hand on the girl's shoulder using magic to calm her down while saying, "Breath slowly, we aren't here to harm you."

"Your aura it was like I was looking into the Abyss," says the girl as Nesiara smiles under her mask before she turns to John.

"It seems, she is a real medium," says Nesiara as the girl looked at her confused before looking at John.

"Girl, can you tell us who you are and where we are of all places?" asks John as it would help them a lot.

"The name is Misty, I own this place. If you want to know where we are you must be either living under a rock or you really came from what I just saw," says Misty nervous thinking about that Abyss.

"Not really we are from another Universe," says John bluntly since it was better than letting her think that they are demons trying to reap her soul.

"Wait, is that possible?" asks the girl as Nesiara nods.

"Yes, we have traveled through many worlds. Yours is just a little stop it seems. But can you tell us where we are, please? It would help us a lot," says Nesiara as Misty calmed down again thanks to Nesiara.

"We are in Night City to be precise we are in the Watson District," says Misty as John flinched from hearing that.

Nesiara saw that and asks, "Is something wrong?"

"No and Yes," says John as he looks at Misty before asking seriously, "I know that this next question could disturb you or even hurt you but I need to know it. Is Jackie Welles alive?"

"Why is Jackie going to die?" asks Misty seriously as she was nervous again when John sighs.

"Alright, if he is still alive we can keep him that way but we will need your help Misty," says John seriously since he now knew where they are and almost at which moment of the timeline.

"You know where we are?" asks Nesiara as John nods.

"Cyberpunk 2077, we are in a big city named Night City founded by Richard Night," says John to Nesiara informing her about the situation.

"So what do we use as our identity?" asks Nesiara as John looked at Misty.

"We can't really do much in this world since we don't exist in the system and I won't implant some microchip into my skull just so we can buy someplace in the city. I would rather build a house outside of it," says John seriously as he looked at Misty.

"But for now we should pass as Mercs," says John as Nesiara catches on.

"So we are playing Mercenary in this World until everything is resolved," says Nesiara as John nods.

"Exactly," says John as he looked at Misty.

"Misty, where can we find some work that pays in metallic instead of digital?" asks John seriously since it was important.

They didn't want to have to implant some chip into their cranium. Misty was thinking hard before remembering some old method that almost nobody uses any longer.

"You could use a memory chip to contain all your money but to not be tricked you would need a checking device at all times with you," says Misty as John and Nesiara looked at each other and nod their head at one another.

"We will need one," says John as he looked down on himself and on Nesiara seeing that their clothes don't fit this world.

"And some clothes as well," says John as Nesiara helps Misty stand up.

"Misty, can you close your shop for today and help us?" asks Nesiara as they needed the girl.

"I can help you with the clothes, but for that chip, we will need help from Jackie," says Misty as she looked nervous because of what John asked earlier.

"Misty look at me," says Nesiara as they stopped.

Misty looks at her and Nesiara says, "We will try our best to keep him alive for you. Don't think too much about the future and live in the present."

"I will try," says Misty as Nesiara takes Misty into her arms.

"We all must die one day but I will make sure that Jackie doesn't day until he and you are old and have gray hair," says Nesiara as her eyes turned black and her hair lighted up.

"We shouldn't make a scene here," says John as Nesiara and Misty nod before they walked out of Misty's shop.

She closes the door and John looked across from the shop seeing a strip club and says, "There wasn't a better place except across a strip club."

"The rent is low thanks to the strip club being there. I would have had to pay a fortune otherwise," says Misty as they turned right and walked towards the main street to get into a cab.
