Graves Destroys Mikochi

John left to join the others knowing that Nesiara wouldn't make Smasher's death merciful since she could see all the vengeful souls hanging on his body with her eyes.

John couldn't see them but he felt relieved because when Nesiara has a goal in mind she is better at chasing it than he did. He enters the circular room which was the last room before arriving at Mikoshi finding the group at the last door which seemed to not budge.

"What is going on?" asks John seriously since V should already be hanging from Mikoshi with her direct link being the connection between them.

"It seems that Alt can't open the door," says Rogue seriously as well as worried since V was getting worse with every second that passed.

"As I thought," says John seriously as he let go of Omega which vanished and Yamato appeared in his hands.

He unsheathed Yamato faster than the group could even see and the door began to fall apart when John grabbed V and rushed through the corridor since V didn't have any time to spend at the moment.

The rest followed them and they see John taking a dual adapter out and he connects it with Mikoshi before connecting V to it then he looked at Lucy who waited for a moment as V was placed in the water.

Everyone was nervous and suddenly it looked like V had another attack before it stopped. Grimoire wanted to take V out but John stopped him and looks at Lucy before nodding and taking another body out.

It was Johnny Silverhand's real body or better said it was the body Johnny had before he died and he connects it to Mikochi as well. Lucy then loads Graves into Mikochi to meet with the other three.

"Finally inside," says Graves finding himself sitting beside V and across from Johnny while Alt was floating behind Johnny.

"What are you doing here?" asks V confused when Graves manifests his gun and points it at Alt.

"Didn't you notice what happened?" asks Graves back to V who was now even more confused when a lit cigar manifest itself in the other hand of Graves.

"What happened?" asks V seriously wanting to know what was going on.

"Soulkiller, that is what happened," says Johnny revealing the final card to V who couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Wait, your Joytoy just fried me?" asks V not believing it at first before looking at Graves who nods confirming that Alt killed her.

"So it is over?" asks V looking at them in defeat.

"Not yet," says Graves as he points his gun at Alt and shoots once destroying the engram of Alt before pointing the gun at Johnny before saying, "You can join her or return to the land of the living with V."

"I am not going to share a body with her again. I would rather die to make her suffer again," says Johnny sounding almost mature.

"You won't share a body. John provided a body for you a long time ago. It is your old body," says Graves informing them.

"What about me?" asks V feeling left out.

"You will get to your old body and John will fix you completely before you leave NC with Judy forever. Do you understand, Valerie," says Graves to V since he wanted the best for her and her partner.

"But NC is our life," says V when Graves looks at her feeling a bit disappointed.

"Night City is like the Abyss. You look to long inside of it and it will stare back. Promise me one thing, V. Never return to NC. You might come and go but never stay too long in this city or it will consume you as it did with many other people," says Graves warning V of the danger of Night City before he snapped and two freezers appeared beside them.

"Johnny, you take the right one. V, the left one is yours. Don't want to explain to John later that you are in the other's body," says Graves before helping them leave when more engrams begin to appear out of nowhere and Graves begins to shoot at them when they hear him say, "It was an honor to have known you both."

Graves sees them leave and then begins to brighten up when he says, "It is time to meet you again, partner."

He detonates himself and destroys Mikochi with him when V and Johnny wake up and find the group looking at them when V grabs John by his collar and asks, "Did you know?"

"What?" asks John sadly knowing that Graves wouldn't return.

"You knew and allowed it," says V not able to believe what just happened.

"What is she talking about?" asks Rogue confused when Johnny walked over toward Rogue placing his normal hand on her shoulder before shaking his head.

"She means Graves. We all knew that this would be a suicide mission and Graves wanted to pay this price since he wanted to meet with his partner again and give you and Johnny a second chance. So don't waste the chance he gave you both," says John to them seriously when he sees Nesiara approaching them sullied in oil while dragging the upper body of Adam Smasher behind herself.

At the same time John and the group were dealing with Mikochi, Nesiara was staring at Adam Smasher who was confused about what was going on when Nesiara stretches her hand out and the scythe that landed beside Smasher before returned to her hand.

She begins to leak Darkness out of her body upholding her appearance as Death while approaching Adam Smasher who points his right arm at Nesiara before shooting at her making a big hole appear where her face was.

Adam Smasher thought it was over and wanted to follow after John when he sees Nesiara's body and continues to move forward while the hole slowly closes again.

"You think it would be over this quickly?" asks Nesiara mocking him for thinking that as she took another step forward.

"You can't kill me even if you make a pact with the Devil. I am Death," says Nesiara as she raises one of her scythes and slices it down at Smasher making the arm that shot at her fall to the ground.

Adam Smasher grunts in pain and disbelief because of how clean the cut was as he points the other arm at Nesiara and says, "I don't believe in something like Death. You are just a crazy mutant and nothing more."

"Then let me show you the souls hanging on your body wanting your death," says Nesiara as her hand begins to emit light which revealed all the people that Adam Smasher killed over the years.

They couldn't believe what was going on when Nesiara says, "How about you get your revenge on him just don't kill him. Johnny Silverhand has a bullet with his name on it."

The Souls began to approach Smasher and begin to take him apart slowly mentally and physically leaving only his upper body with his head attached to him. Adam Smasher didn't know how to explain what happened to him while Nesiara was bathed in his oil because he released all the souls by taking them in.

She grabbed Smasher by his neck and pulled him behind her before arriving at the room in which the group was at the moment when she sees V grabbing John by his collar.

"What is going on here?" asks Nesiara when V let go of John.

"She found out about Graves," says John informing Nesiara who only looked at V with sad eyes.

"He did what he thought was right to give you both a new chance. Don't waste your new life and make the best out of it," says Nesiara as she threw Adam Smasher before Johnny's feet.

"Now is your chance to show if you can change or if you are still the same Johnny Silverhand," says Nesiara seriously to Johnny who looked at Adam Smasher with a glint of vengeance in his eyes.

"No, this isn't possible. I killed him on the fucking rooftop!" says Adam Smasher in shock to see a breathing Johnny Silverhand standing before him.

"Well, you didn't do a good job," says Johnny as he grabbed Rogue's gun and pointed it at Smasher.

He was thinking quite hard before he lowered his gun and he shouts, "Fuck! Why can't I do it?"

"Is it because of what Graves did for you or the time you spent with V?" asks Rogue curiously seeing that Johnny was growing a consciousness.

"Maybe both," says John before seeing Grimoire pulling his gun on Smasher and killing him in cold blood.

"We need to leave before we get surrounded not only by Arasaka but by the NCPD and every other single organization that we pissed off with our action today," says Grimoire putting the gun back.

"He is right we need to leave now," says Rogue seriously as John looks at Grimoire.

"Can we leave through the tunnel?" asks John testing Grimoire as Grimoire shakes his head.

"No, we would meet Militech. I would recommend going to Paradise before going to your mansion or the Nomad Camp," says Grimoire making John smile.

"Then it is decided we are going to Paradise," says John as he looked at Nesiara who nods before they tell the group to hold on to them before they all disappear together arriving at Paradise.

"So what now? Do we stay here for a while or-" says V before they continue and they appeared in the Nomad Camp of the Aldecaldos or at least a mile away from it.

"...do w... Forget what I wanted to say," says finding out that they were outside Night City.

"What now?" asks Rogue as she looked at Nesiara since John was doing the same.

"Now we return to our usual business while keeping our heads down except for V, Panam, and Grimoire. They need to leave the city immediately. The Aldecaldos attacked Night Corp.'s territory which won't sit well with many people while everything around V will be turned around as well as us," says Nesiara knowing that this was the plan from the beginning.

"I should also leave NC since I am a dead man. Many will be going after me as well," says Johnny as Nesiara nods at him.

"Yes, but you have Rogue to help you with that," says Nesiara as John disappears with Lucy, Rebecca, and David.

"Where did John go?" asks V seeing that he took the other three mercs with him.

"To take them back to the moon. They have done their part and will receive a generous pension for helping us. The same can be said about the Aldecaldos," says Nesiara looking at Panam.

"Take care of our big idiot here. He will be a great help to your clan and people," says Nesiara to Panam taking her hands in hers before placing a seal of fertility and a seal of protection on Panam's hands.

"I will try my best to keep him out of trouble," says Panam joking about it since she was dragging him into trouble more than once already.

"Welcome to the family, Panam," says Nesiara before looking at Grimoire and saying, "She is a keeper so try your best to keep her."

"I will do my best to keep her and the world safe," says Grimoire sounding almost like it was the last time they will see each other.

"Wait are you leaving and never coming back?" asks V nervous hearing Grimoire this serious.

"No, we still have some time or a portal would have appeared already taking me and John away," says Nesiara explaining to the others that they still were staying around until the fated day they will leave this world.

This made V as well as some of the others sigh in relief when Nesiara says, "I would never miss Jackie's wedding with Misty. She is almost like a daughter to me."

This made Jackie now nervous which elevated their mood again since smiles or grins appeared on the faces of the people when Grimoire and Nesiara feel that John disappeared completely from their senses which made them look serious to each other.
