Gathering in the Crownguard Mansion

The very next day, John and Nesiara left to meet the other children of theirs to tell them about what was going to happen when not only they joined but also Vincent, Yuffie, and Aerith.

They wanted to help them while Yuffie just wanted to experience another adventure instead of being tied to her desk as neither told her that she could use a shadow clone to do such kind of work while leaving to experience some adventures.

"You want to break the rule that we imposed upon you?" asks Jack as he appears in front of John and Nesiara.

"The rule doesn't count for that Universe since we are already in it," says John outsmarting the system of only being able to transport only five people into a new universe which made Jack smile at them.

"It seems you made your homework this time but will it succeed is another question," says Jack as he looked at Yui and Kieron before saying, "Did you know that your father wants to pull a Bran to save Leon from doing it."

"I am not trying to pull a Bran," says John as he looked at his grandfather seriously.

"Then what is your plan?" asks Jack knowing that John didn't have one when Lightning began to manifest around John because of Jack's words.

But soon after something else began to spread through John's body which was Light and Darkness it felt stronger than the one he and Logan gave Leon as two blurry silhouettes began to form behind him.

But before they could manifest completely Kara appears out of nowhere and hits John's neck making him fall unconscious before Jack could see them.

"Why did you stop him?" asks Jack as he was now curious.

This was the first time that Kara interfered openly when Jack felt a scythe at his throat which made him even more curious since Abigail was there as well.

"Now this is a surprise the Goddess of Life and Death and her Shadow interfere for the first time in cycles to stop a candidate and me from clashing against each other," says Jack as Abigail cuts a bit into his flesh.

"This scythe can kill you, Jack. Remember that," says Abigail as her eyes were stone cold as her voice didn't hold any emotions in it.

"I should have known that something was up the moment you two came to t-," says Jack when Abigail cut deeper making him stop mid-sentence.

"Everything has its time and place. And their time hasn't come yet," says Kara as everyone else was nervous since it seemed that the Ancestors of their family were fighting each other at the moment.

"What is goin-," says Nesiara when Mia appears and puts them all to sleep while Alfred appears behind Jack and holds him still ready to make him fall unconscious.

"Alfred? I thought you are my brother's butler," says Jack seeing Alfred take Abigail's side.

"I am and I am interfering since he wouldn't want you to interfere this heavily in this decision," says Alfred not explaining the real reason why he helps Abigail and Kara at the moment.

Flashback to before yesterday

Alfred was back in the Nothingness as he wanted to know more about the matter when Abigail and Kara look at him.

"No word that is said here can reach Logan, Jack, nor Deathseeker," says Abigail as she was serious going by the cold aura she was radiating.

"Why?" asks Alfred as he was confused that they were keeping this all a secret from their husbands.

"The power of the Godking was given to Deathseeker by the two beings sealed under us. They can hear and see everything that they are doing since they are using the power of a Godking," says Abigail when Alfred was confused.

"But Lorena-," says Alfred when Mia interrupts.

"She was never a Godqueen. She was a Goddess that only inherited the powers of the Goddess of Life and Death from her father and not his Godking's power. She was outside the system that's why they can't hear our conversation nor the scheme she implied," says Mia as Alfred could now see clearly.

"Then they know of-," says Alfred as the women nod their heads.

"Yes, they know of all the schemes that the men are trying to use against them but not the one that was set in moving by Lorena behind Shura's back. Why do you think they could pinpoint the exact location of Deathseeker, Jack, and Logan to shoot them with a ray of light?" says Abigail as Alfred now knew how it was possible.

"Then it was just a decoy to distract from the real control they have over the situation outside their cage," says Alfred as the women agree with him.

"Yes, but our little discussion with them lately might have raised some flags in their minds except they think that they can't be stopped by anything that we are planning since we aren't Godkings," says Kara as she was smiling.

"And that gives us an advantage we need to use against them. We only need more time until they awaken the souls implanted in them," says Abigail as she stood up and a mini sun, moon, and a flame appeared in her hands.

The sun transformed into Jeanne d'Arc, the moon into Lorena, and the Fire into Diao Chan while Abigail says, "Nesiara has awakened parts of it when she opened her True Devil Trigger. She only needs to make contact with the souls sleeping inside of her."

"What about John?" asks Alfred as Kara walked forward as she had mini thunder, lightning, light, and darkness in her hands.

The thunder and lightning transformed into Arthur while darkness and light turned into Shura when Kara says, "John only made contact with Arthur's piece and only shortly when he became a Keyblade Wielder did he activated his darkness and light slumbering inside him until now."

"His affinity to lightning and thunder comes from when Arthur's previous life as Thor Tyrson," says Alfred as Kara nods.

"Yes, it is hard to keep the original Mjölnir in check to rush to his aide every time John needs help. That was why the blade without name appeared in front of John it heard Shura's calling from within John," says Abigail as Alfred sighs.

"It seems I will have to keep my master in the dark so we can fulfill what the previous Mistress schemed and turn it into a success against the sealed beings," says Alfred as he was having a headache from all the schemes around him.

But he can put his fate at least into Abigail and Kara since they are working for Lorena who was the most judge of all the people he knows.

"Now where do I sign?" asks Alfred sarcastic ready to devote himself to this scheme that will save his current master from demise as well as all his former masters.

Back in the present

Alfred knocks Jack out and takes him away right away into the Black Realm in which Logan was watching everything unfold. Logan looks at Alfred while thinking when he closes his eyes and to think for a moment before he opens them again.

"Thank you, Alfred. You have done well," says Logan not saying more than that since he knew that Alfred had a reason to go behind his back even if he didn't tell him.

Alfred would never betray him except it would benefit him in the end since he served three Godkings before serving him and all of them he served loyal until the end of their time.

"I did as I saw right," says Alfred as he leaves again while Jack's scratch healed from alone.

In the meantime in the garden of the Crownguard Mansion, Mia carried everyone inside which made Elmyra nervous as she was watching over Grimoire and Ifalna inside the Mansion.

"I am really sorry about this, but we had to put everyone to sleep," says Abigail as her scythe disappeared from her hands while Ifalna and Grimoire jumped into Abigail's arms on their own.

Abigail caught both of the troublemakers with a smile before saying, "It seems you two will be strong members of this family. I pray that your grandparents succeed in their mission."

"You are Abigail," says Elmyra as she remembers Aerith telling her about Abigail, Mia, and Kara before.

"The one and only. It is nice to meet you again," says Abigail confusing Elmyra before she changed the topic.

"They will be back in a few hours. Tell them that the fated day is in a month. They will understand what I mean," says Abigail as Elmyra nods before Abigail hands over Ifalna and Grimoire.

They then leave as fast as they arrived leaving a confused Elmyra behind with two children that were sleeping in her arms while all the adults were sleeping in the guestrooms or their respective rooms.

Elmyra put the kids in their blanket as she waited for the others to wake up confused to tell them what Abigail told her.

The first to wake up was John he was holding his neck as he was feeling pain from it when he finds Nesiara with him on the bed.

He stands up without waking her and leaves the room finding himself inside the Crownguard Mansion helped him as he walked towards the entrance hoping that someone in the living room would know what happened.

He finds Elmyra with the children which were playing with their pets since they finished their midday nap. Elmyra sees John and signalizes him to come forwards and sit down beside him.

"What happened?" asks John as Elmyra looked at the children.

"Abigail and the others brought you inside unconscious. I don't know what happened outside since I didn't leave the Mansion," says Elmyra before looking seriously at John.

"But whatever happened outside must have alerted them to take action. Also, Abigail said that the fated day is in one month," says Elmyra as John was holding his head to think.

He takes two deep breaths before he says, "I don't know what happened outside. I just remember being angry at Jack for a moment before my mind got clouded by Thunder and Lightning before I saw Light and Darkness then I felt someone hit my neck and everything turned blurry."

"Maybe we shouldn't poke into this matter any further," says Elmyra as she was nervous about this whole matter if overpowered people tried to stop what was going to happen.

"For now at least," says Nesiara as she enters the living room.

"But to know why they wanted to stop us we need to know who the silhouettes were that wanted to manifest behind you," says Nesiara as she looked at the children playing with their pets when she says, "But now we should concentrate on getting Leon back."
