Exterminating the Whispers

Nesiara takes her hand back as she looks at Rude and says, "It seems that my husband saved your life. If I were you, I would leave before he changes his mind. He can be quite the opposite of what he is showing right now."

Rude couldn't believe that John was that tall as John looked like a simple giant maybe a bit taller than him from the distance but now that John was in front of him, he was quite sure that John was the tallest man on Gaia.

He picks his shades up as he bows before leaving thanking John for saving his life. The children made way as Rude left the slums the way he came from.

"You know it was your idea not to kill anyone that wasn't worth it," says John as Nesiara smiles at him.

"What I wanted to scare him not kill him. I knew you would jump in to save him since the children were watching," says Nesiara as she gets closer to John.

"Good to know that but how about we sent the children back to the Leaf House," says John as Nesiara smiles.

"No can do. I have to help Elmyra," says Nesiara as she walked back to the houses while the children made way for her.

The girls had now quite a hero to aspire to while the boys had John when one girl says, "I really want to be as strong as her."

"Then you should listen to your teachers and one day you might become as strong as her," says John as Nesiara was quite a good listener even if she takes sometimes longer to learn something when it doesn't depend on her instincts.

The children walked back with John to the Leaf House as Yui asks, "Mom won as I could see."

"She defeated him without really trying," says John as the children began to recount the fight to the others that didn't go with them.

"I know since Rude was still in one piece," says Yui as she knew that if her mother would really try then Rude might have needed medical help instead of just air to breathe and some water to hydrate himself.

"Not thanks to your mom. She almost killed the poor fella with her hand," says John as he sat down.

John didn't have anything to do than to walk later through the secret base of the children to see if their playground was completely cleared of monster and to walk through the side street between the train station and the slums to see if monsters or even bugged Shinra robots were making the life of the people difficult.

"Just don't overwork yourself," says Yui as John smiles at his daughter while petting her head.

"Your father might be old but not that old," says John as he stands up to make his round when the group arrived at the Leaf House.

Kieron, Nora, and Aerith walked over towards John and Yui to ask if they saw a Turk when both smiled and John says, "How about you ask the children they have quite a story to tell. But who are you bringing with you?"

"This is Cloud. He told us on the way that he used to be a SOLDIER," says Aerith as she had a smile on her face.

"Did you find a clue by asking him?" asks John as Aerith shakes her head.

"Not really," says Aerith when John pets her head to comfort her.

"You will find him sooner or later," says John as he stopped when Cloud took a closer look at him.

"You are a SOLDIER," says Cloud as he was about to draw his sword. Suddenly he stopped when his hand was on the sword as the aura coming from John was so frightening for him.

"I'm no SOLDIER. If you had to compare me to one than we are not near enough close to each other. I'm imbued with Mako and only with Mako. You, on the other hand, have the corruption of this world in you like every other SOLDIER," says John as his aura retracts making Cloud look confused at him.

"Your confusion makes it even easier to tell apart that you aren't a real SOLDIER," says John as Cloud was now offended and was ready to attack when John appeared by his side.

"See for yourself," says John as his hand was on Cloud's head.

Could loses consciousness and sits down while John follows making Aerith feel nervous when suddenly the shadows appeared again. The children ran away towards the Leaf House while Kieron, Nora, Yui, and Aerith stood together wanting to defend John and Cloud that were surrounded.

Suddenly three women appeared. One had black hair while the other had blond hair. The last was in a maid uniform and the children were confused except for Yui to see them when suddenly the blond-haired woman took them in her arms.

"My little ones. How much you have grown. It was almost like yesterday when I was holding you," says the blond as Kieron and Nora tried to struggle their way out.

"Who are you lady?" asks Kieron as he didn't recognize her.

"She is dad's grandmother, Kara Parker, while the other is mother's great-grandmother, Abigail Hawke. The last is Abigail maid, Mia," says Yui as she still remembered them.

"And why are they here?" asks Kieron as Yui just lift her shoulders showing she had no clue when suddenly the Sky Piercer appears in Abigail's hands.

"Kara cover me with Mia," says Abigail as both nod as the Whispers were trying to attack her when she began to chant something the youngsters couldn't understand when Abigail hits the ground making light appear.

"I relief you as my representative of this world!" shouts Abigail as a field of light begins to expand over the whole World when Nesiara arrived at their side the action was already done.

She sees Abigail and hugs here before asking, "Why are you here?"

"My husband informed me of my representative of this world became corrupted as he was intervening in the affairs of the Mortals," says Abigail as she hit the ground again making everyone fall unconscious and deleting the memory of what happened right now

"With this, no one should have to worry that the Whispers interfere with this or the other worlds ever again until I say so," says Abigail as the Sky Piercer disappears out of her hand.

Aerith was seeing everything and couldn't believe that just one person destroyed the destiny of the worlds that easy when Abigail sees her. Abigail smiles as she moves her finger making Aerith float towards her.

"The last Cetra it's nice to meet you. Your people always worked quite diligently for me before the Meteor crashed into Gaia," says Abigail when Mia walks over.

"My lady," says Mia as Abigail looks at her.

"Right, he is watching. Maybe we will have an opportunity to talk another time," says Abigail as she suddenly fades away with the other two while Kara waves at the children.

In the meantime, John was inside Cloud's mindscape. He was looking for Cloud who he found fast.

"There you are," says John as he approaches Cloud who was nervous because he didn't know where he was.

"Where are we?" asks Cloud as he looked around only finding some windows everywhere when John calms him down with magic.

"We are in your mindscape. I'm used to be in mine since most of the time I am in it. But now it would be the best for you to face who you really are," says John as Cloud was confused by John.

"What do you mean?" asks Cloud as John smiles at him.

"Do you really think you are a 1st Class SOLDIER. Then how about we go in here," says John as he pointed at a window that was quite fuzzy.

"What is that?" asks Cloud as John smiles.

"A memory of yours," says John as he opened the window and drags Cloud with him.

They appear in Midgar to be precise they were in the Shinra Building. John walked in front of Cloud when Cloud says, "This is where the Infantry trains. I never was here."

"You are pretty sure of that," says John as he stopped and pointed at a younger Cloud in Infantry Uniform and says, "Who is this then."

"That can't be me," says Cloud as suddenly he had a headache when suddenly the memory began to play in front of them.

Cloud was playing cards with them having fun when suddenly his captain came inside the room and says, "Guys pack up we are sent to Nibelheim. We are going to accompany the Legendary Sephiroth and another Soldier."

"Yes, sir," says every one including the younger version of Cloud when the memory freezes and they are back in the space full of windows.

"That can't be. I was a SOLDIER when I returned home," says Cloud confused.

"Are you sure you looked more like an Infantry Man to me. How about we take a look at this fuzzy memory," says John as he opens the window and pushes Cloud inside while following him.

The younger version of Cloud was sitting quite nervous on his seat inside the train when a man sits across him. The man had short black hair and sees Cloud sitting there nervous.

"Are you alright. You don't look so good," says the man noticing Cloud nervousness when he asks, "Your first job outside?"

"Not really. It's just that we are going to my hometown," says Cloud as the man smiles.

"I know that feeling. The first time back home after a long time. It will be over once we are there," says the man as he takes his sword to take care of it.

"This can't be that's my sword," says the real Cloud as he had now a bigger headache and began to hold his hand with both hands.

"Are you sure for me it looks like you got his sword," says John as the memory continued while John thinks, 'It seems that not everything goes as the game like the worlds before reality is quite different than what was written down.'

"My name is Zack Fair and you are?" says Zack as he presents himself to Cloud.

"Cloud Strife," says Cloud as the memory stopped there and both returned to the space where the windows were.

"How comes I remember it differently?" asks Cloud as he couldn't believe anything. It almost seemed that he broke down when John puts his hand on his shoulder.

"Calm down. You need to remember who you are so you can become who you need to be. Sometimes your past will catch up to you but surpassing it shows if you are strong or not," says John as looked at Cloud trying to calm him down and motivate him to surpass this hurdle.

The next blurred window was in front of them when John asks, "Are you ready?"

Cloud didn't know what to do as John just pushed him inside as he followed.
