Battle for Helm's Deep

It was dark and Celine could see movement coming from the enemy camp. Legolas was beside her when she says, "They are moving towards us."

Suddenly a bell was sounded making everyone stand up as it signalized they were under attack. The people ran towards the fortress while the troops ran towards the wall.

"How long do you think Nora will take to arrive?" asks Legolas hoping that they would march the whole night.

"She should arrive with the first ray of the sun," says Celine as she could feel that Nora wasn't resting like she usually does.

"Then we only have to stand until the sun rises again," says Gimli as Celine nods.

The troops positioned themselves on the wall as they were ready to fight when Celine began to radiate and a golden shield appeared on the battlefield.

The Orcs tried to push through the barrier but they couldn't break it when Legolas asks, "How long will it hold?"

"Two hours then it will disappear. But we should take this opportunity to lower their numbers from a safe distance," says Celine as Legolas pulls the string of his bow shooting at the enemy killing them.

The others see that Legolas' arrows can go beyond the golden shield and begin to shoot theirs as well at the enemy getting their numbers lower until they ran out of arrows making a graveyard appear outside the barrier.

Orcs were looking like porcupines because of all the arrows as everyone was preparing for the shield to fall. They prepared everything necessary to hold the Orcs on the wall and as Celine said after two hours the golden shield disappeared making them have to survive the next six hours.

The Orcs rushed at the wall and gate as they used their ladders to climb the wall only to find rocks falling down towards them before the ladders were pushed away by the people on the wall.

A ram was been used to break the gate but even that got destroyed by throwing oil over it before igniting it with a torch making a nice bonfire while more and more Orcs tried to rush the gate and wall and after another three hours of defending the wall like that they were breached.

The men were exhausted from all the lifting and they still needed to survive another three hours before the sun comes out. Celine rushed with Gimli towards where the breach was as they couldn't let the Orcs put a firm foot on the wall.

"We need to be faster," says Gimli when he suddenly felt his feet left the ground feeling Celine's hands on his hips when he asks, "What is this going to be?"

"Just swing your ax," says Celine as she suddenly throws Gimli over hearing a scared cry leave Gimli before he swung his ax killing one of the Orcs with his luck before landing when he finds Celine beside him and two more Orcs dead.

"Are you crazy, woman? You almost gave me a heart attack when you threw me like that," says Gimli as Celine smiles.

"If only my brother would be here. He would have liked to see this," says Celine as she smiled when she killed another Orc while Gimli killed two before she pushed the ladder away.

But even after closing the breach soon more of them appeared and they had to survive for another two hours that's when Éomer calls a retreat to the fortress as it would be their last stand against the Orcs.

The little group was still holding the wall for a bit longer as Celine was sending the wounded back into the fortress with her Hiraishin while the others defended her until Aragorn says, "We need to retreat now or we will be overrun by the Orcs."

"Then let's leaves," says Legolas as he grabbed Celine's shoulder while saying, "We can't help everyone."

"I know," says Celine sad as she and the others rushed towards the fortress.

They built a barricade around the gate of the fortress beforehand for when they needed to retreat. They were standing behind the barricade as they only needed to hold this position for another two hours or at least that's what they thought when suddenly the dark clouds over Helm's Deep cleared and the first rays of light.

In the meantime outside Helm's Deep, Nora arrived alone while Gandalf and Elrond still needed some time to arrive. She saw the city been overrun when Arthur appears beside her.

"Do you want my help?" asks Arthur as he saw the Helm's Deep.

"How can you help me?" asks Nora back.

"I could give you my best battalion, the 500 Deathseekers. They aren't included in Excalibur since they are bound directly to me," says Arthur picking Nora's curiosity.

"What is so special about them that they weren't included in Excalibur?" asks Nora as Arthur summoned them.

"They are the best of the best. I trained them so they could follow me into my last battle that I won in the end or I wouldn't be alive right now," says Arthur as 500 men were sitting on Nightblue Horses when a bigger horse came forward and Arthur continues, "I see that you can't use your mount here so I will allow you to ride Thunder into the battlefield."

"Who are those people?" asks Nora seeing many different faces when she stopped looking at one and says, "He is different."

"Isn't he. He is a Nordic God, aren't I right, Tyr," says Arthur as Tyr looked at Nora judging her if she was worthy of the 500.

"She will show me if she is worthy of our assistance," says Tyr as he only follows Arthur because of a personal reason.

"Zhao Yun, you will be her spear show her why you are my brother," says Arthur as Zhao Yun sighs.

"It's Zhao Hua for you, older brother," says Zhao Yun as he lived many lives trying to honor that name since his older brother wasn't the same in his other lives like in the first life he remembers him from.

"You still have too much attachment to that name, brother," says Arthur as Nora mounted Thunder and raised her sword.

"We have to assist the people in the city. We should clean them as fa-," says Nora when a roar could be heard over them.

A giant Black Dragon overflows them in the direction of the city as Nora says, "We should hurry or Koltox would be the only one to get his revenge on them."

She rushed on Thunder towards Helm's Deep with the 500 following her. Suddenly fire opened a path for them as Koltox breathe used his breathe making a path for them.

Nora followed the path as Koltox couldn't use his breath in the city or he would kill the others and he knew that Bran wouldn't like it. But Nora was something different as she arrived at the gate she was overtaken by Zhao Yun and the others as the formation looked like a spear rushing into the enemy.

The Orcs didn't even know what hit them when Zhao Yun shouts, "What are we!"

"Deathseekers!" shout the 500 at the same time as they pierced through the formation of the Orcs before they jumped down and began to kill them opening a way for Nora.

The horses seemed to be the biggest sadist of all the 500 since they inflicted quite kills but stampeding over the Orcs when Thunder takes Nora by surprise and rushed to the front and kills the Orcs easily while Nora swung her sword killing some of them.

Thunder looked to the Orcs like what his race was named after, an Endbringer. They tried to pierce through the skin of Thunder only to find out that the steel either bend or broke against his skin.

Thunder was leading the other Endbringers on the battlefield while Nora jumped from him to join the 500 that were massacring their way through the Orcs towards the Fortress.

Tyr was swinging his Greatsword with his one hand while Zhao Yun just rushed through the enemy without trouble like the others they were working better than the forces she summoned before.

They could hear the Orcs outside being fried by Koltox showing his anger as he saw the club of his master. Nora was slashing her way through the Orcs when she felt her nose started to begin to bleed.

"What is going on?" asks Nora herself as Zhao Yun comes to her side.

"That is the side effect of summoning us. My brother used to have them also in the beginning since we aren't connected to the sword," says Zhao Yun explaining to Nora why she was having a nosebleed before he raised his spear and killed another Orc that wanted to attack them.

"We should return to fighting. Showing weakness will only get you killed," says Zhao Yun helping Nora up again.

They fight their way through towards the fortress finding Celine and the others fighting there. They were defending the fortress with everything they had.

"It seems you made it," says Celine surprised that Nora was already here.

"I left the others behind," says Nora when they were fighting against the Orcs.

"We can talk when everything is over," says Aragorn as they were struggling in defending the fortress when they heard a horn blow and on the opposite side of a hill suddenly men and elves rushed at Helm's Deep.

"The Rohirrim has arrived and it seems they didn't come alone," says Éomer as he would recognize that horn everywhere.

Suddenly another horn was sounded and Elrond announced his arrival from the other side making everyone except for the 500 feel relieved since they survived that day even if some of them died.

The fight went on for another hour before every last Orc was dead on the ground. Then the 500 vanished with Zhao Yun saying, "We will meet again, Nora Crownguard. We will be watching you until t-."

"It seems you made new allies on your way," says Celine as Nora nods.

"Costly ally," says Nora as she felt a bit weak right now when Arthur catches her.

"Now that's was a nice battle even though you could have done better," says Arthur but he could forgive it since Nora was never a general she just got her powers and never trained in leading men.

"She will need to rest summoning the 500 can exhaust someone quite fast," says Arthur handing her over to Celine while vanishing from there.
