Farewell and New Beginnings

A week had passed since Kai's victorious spar with Leo. Now, the day of their departure had finally arrived. Zac and Kai stood before Sophia and Ryker, their eyes filled with gratitude.

"Thank you, Sophia, Ryker," Kai said, his voice sincere. "You've taught us so much. We'll never forget your lessons."

Sophia smiled, her eyes warm. "You're like sons to us, Kai and Zac. We're proud of the adventurers you've become."

Ryker nodded, his expression serious. "Eldian awaits. May your journey be filled with wisdom and wonder."

Zac and Kai bowed, their hearts full of appreciation. Then, with a final farewell, they boarded a carriage bound for Eldian. The journey would take a couple of days, but they were eager to see what the city had in store for them.

As the carriage rolled away, Sophia and Ryker watched them go, their faces filled with a mix of sadness and pride.

"They're ready," Sophia said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ryker nodded, his eyes shining with tears. "They are. And we'll always be here, cheering them on from afar."

The carriage ride was long, but Zac and Kai passed the time by sharing stories, playing games, and gazing out at the passing landscape. Finally, on the second day, the towering spires of Eldian came into view, its grandeur taking their breath away.

"Welcome to Eldian," Zac said, grinning.

Kai smiled, his eyes shining with wonder. "Let's make our mark on this city."
