Help me

Little water droplets flew from the hand as it flailed wildly. Some of them must have encapsulated blood because the droplets that hit Scott's face had a coppery taste. Most of the men retreated back from the onslaught of screaming and mysterious juices that flew from the speaker, but Scotty stayed rooted to the spot. He was entranced by the horrible sounds coming from the speaker which was probably the worst part. Previously, there was an electric buzz emanating from the speakers which told him that the sounds were artificial. This small static like noise helped distinguish fiction from reality, but this noise was replaced by the organic screaming of a man. The screaming shot like a beam at Scotty because it issued from such a small space. The acoustically primed walls of the hole in the speaker gave the screaming a horrid force which tingled Scotty's fingertips. Scotty didn't know how long he would have stood there unless the old man had shoved him out of the way. Straining against an unseen force, the old man pulled on the arm. He set his weight so that is was off kilter from his center of gravity. Then, there was a horrible SQUELCH as the fingers of the arm went limp. The old man stumbled backwards as the arm hit the floor with a resounding thud. The sound of static drew their gazes back to the screen as the figure of a man appeared out of the red tinted smoke. Both of his arms were severed at the elbow with crude lacerations that made various folds of skin hang off the bone like cloth. Despite the dismantled state of his body, his face was composed in a peaceful mask of horror that slowly formulated the words "Help me". His expression disappeared behind a large shadow that engulfed him for a second. Then, the tank was void of any life except for a large, black mass swimming into the distance.
