Chapter 14: The Long Awaited Visit-Part 1
Sue threw herself into Rayan’s chest and hugged him so strong for a long pause. Until she noticed that only she was so passionate and excited about meeting him, she pulled herself away and looked at Rayan’s face.
He looked as if he were ten years older. He grew a beard, and a mustache, which he never had. His hair was longer than usual. These new changes in his appearance might make him more attractive, but he did not look like Rayan at all.
He had a smile on his face, but it was not as soft and tender as it always was. His face was not as relaxed as it ever was. Something cold and fake was in this new version of Rayan.
“Let us have a coffee somewhere, better than standing here,” Rayan held her hand and walked to his car.
They did not talk the whole way till they reached a small café next to Sue's college, where they used to meet every morning when Rayan was still at the university.
