Christmas and Retirement

~Hogwarts, Great Hall: 9, November, Morning~ {POV 3rd Person}

As it is the second week of November, for magicians in Hogwarts the weather has turned very cold so all of them including Professors have begun wearing warm clothes while covering their ears and heads. As for the three vampires, though they can feel the change in the temperature, if just this minor change in weather caused discomfort to them it will be a disgrace to their bloodlines and strength that can literally rule or destroy this civilization by depending only on their power.

But this change indeed made somethings easier for them as even though nobody stopped them from wearing hoods in the Hogwarts, it does look out of place and attract attention but now almost everybody is covering their heads and ears, it looks more normal. Another fact also helped them with this, as some copied them and wore hoods instead of the usual hats or earmuffs because even though others have seen the Lestrange siblings without their hoods and find them as quite good looking, without any visible defects that three of them need to hide with the hoods, but three vampires become more attractive when they are wearing the hoods, especially to the opposite sexes.

Actually, this is how vampires charm other creatures, or to be more specific, this is how vampires naturally attract their prey. Once a creature of other species find something to attract their attention in a vampire, generally of the opposite sex, their bloodline increases the target's curiosity and fascination over the vampire finally turning it into a slave who will willingly give their blood as well as their life, and if the vampire wished for it the time taken to corrupt the target can be reduced drastically.

Three vampires are naturally attractive but their hoods make them stand out and attract even more attention which gets amplified by their natural charm, so students feel attracted to their hooded form. Even though three vampires can't entirely stop their charm from acting, it is fortunate for others that they can at least suppress it quite an extent, as for why they can't completely control it because they just don't know how it works, it doesn't even consume any mana, stamina or blood even while they force their charm to work at the full force.

The only thing they found about their charm is that it is something similar to their mana sensing, high healing capabilities and aura of top predators, as none of those actually require any mana to work but their healing capabilities can be increased by mana consumption even though they can't suppress or stop it to the level of charm and aura as it doesn't lower below their natural healing, while their aura and mana sensing can be controlled to the much greater extent but it doesn't consume anything even if they wish for it.

Because three vampires don't think it is possible for them to wake up easily early in the morning and they don't really need to sleep even for a long time, they spent the whole night reading muggle books on biology, as they have already completed most of the important books on spells in the magical society while potion and alchemy of this world are useless to them, which is the branch most of the books belong to. As for the books on spells, even though there were quite a number of books and three of them are not super-intelligent, they completed all of them as their connected thoughts significantly increase their rate of understanding for any new concepts, it especially helps when they read the same topic at the same time.

And why read muggle books? Because there are no other books left in the magical society that intrigue them also this biology book is really useful for them, especially for Ash. Because Aruhik was not able to attend school after 9 years old while Sia and Ash never even attended school before Hogwarts, they didn't even know that are so many ways to kill and permanently or temporarily disable a person, as Ash's fighting style is that of an assassin this might really be helpful for her future fights, also Aruhik thinks even he and Sia can use this for their advantage.

At the moment three of them are sitting at Slytherin table and much to the amazement of others, three of them are eating ice-cream in such cold weather, that the lake frosted enough to walk on it and every morning the ground is covered with frost. And getting the habit from Aruhik and Sia, Ash also loves ice cream.

As Aruhik became the reserve member of quidditch only to skip the class within the rules, he won't be joining this game. While Sia and Ash are already in their Quidditch uniform and they have also enchanted the hoods of uniform to keep it from falling due to strong winds during the flight.

Almost every first years except Draco were ready to cheer up Sia and Ash to clear any nervousness both might have for their first match but soon it appeared that they might be more nervous than these two. Draco didn't even think of consoling them as he can't even imagine those two feeling something like nervousness due to competition as on the Halloween night they were still enjoying the short banquet even though they knew soon they will have to fight against the most dangerous black wizard, also his mother should be arriving within the next few hours, so he can boldly claim that at the moment he is the most nervous person in the whole school.

On the other side, Harry is almost as nervous as when he was about to fight Quirrell, as after his first loss against Sitasia, whenever Harry significantly improved himself he challenged her again and those challenges were not only in the fight but still he lost miserably in each one of them, after all, Sia's age in tens of millennia therefore even if she prefers direct methods it doesn't mean she is a muscle brain, her initial strange behavior was because of her belief 'the one with greater strength can get everything', so he also lost in something chess and mind puzzles. It happened so many times that now Harry subconsciously believes it is impossible to defeat her, but here once again his opponent is Sitasia, so Harry only hopes that he doesn't wake up next in the hospital wings which usually happened whenever he fought against her because she doesn't even give any chance for her opponent to surrender.

Around 10 o'clock students began moving towards quidditch grounds as the match will start in less than an hour, so Sia and Ash also went to players' waiting room along with the other team members while Aruhik accompanied Draco to meet Narcissa and Lucius.

After Aruhik and Draco met Lucius and Narcissa, she hugged both of them and then checked Draco for any possible injuries he might have hidden from others. During this Aruhik and Lucius moved to another side of the room since it will provide enough space for Narcissa to show her motherly love to Draco, it has already been more than half an hour Draco has been listening to his mother's scolding.

It also made Aruhik remember the hour-long scolding he and Sia received when they showed the degraded version of Warping to their Uncle and Aunt, because of all the situations he expected and prepared for, which even included the exposure of their true identity, that long lecture was one of the only things he never expected to happen. Even Sia listened to that lecture in silence because she understood that Narcissa is genuinely caring for them because if it was anyone else she would have cooked the person with her lightning even before they got scolded for ten seconds let alone for more than one hour, due to that lesson Aruhik guessed that something like this will happen to Draco.

While Draco was having a loving one-way conversation with his mother, Aruhik and Lucius were having their own conversation in low voice.

"V.N. is publically opposing Dark Lord but now he has appeared in the weakened form soon he might get back to his full power, I want you to work with me to stop them from increasing this any further." The appearance of Voldemort on the back of Quirrell's head really scared many of the old Death Eaters who escaped the punishment, especially Lucius who was also forced to destroy one his Horcrux so he doesn't want to appear like someone who opposed him publically.

But Aruhik can't let that happen because he wants them to remain as a family in the grey zone, also the reason Aruhik never revealed his ownership for the remaining 51% of the company because exposing it will make people understand the true origin of this company also he can put all the unfavorable decision made by the company on the head of this 'unknown person' and nobody can force this 'unknown person' to change any of his decisions as nobody knows his true identity and he owns more than fifty percent, 51% of the company.

So Aruhik tried to convince Lucius from the viewpoint of a magician whose strength is lower than Voldemort.

"Uncle, I don't think it is a good idea because Dark Lord will come after us just because you didn't enter Azkaban, both of our families didn't help him during these years and mainly Draco captured him for the Ministry, also in the time of emergency we can save ourselves with the help of V.N. as Dark Lord cannot and will not contend against an organization which is spread all over the world. But if we oppose V.N., first we close our path for retreat and second if they made this public we will lose all people's support, as you might have also received the report from them that all the ministry officials exposed were the ones who tried to do the same we are talking about."

Aruhik is able to openly give suggestion to his Uncle because he has been discussing politics and business with his Uncle and Aunt from the age of six, also, since his previous knowledge was only about some basics of human psychology that too was something he learned by his personal experience, so he started improving his knowledge in this field during that time. So in time, they accepted the fact that Aruhik is good at these things.

At the moment Aruhik is slightly confused as he knows that his Uncle should have also thought these things but he still suggested this and Aruhik can only think of a few reasons but they shouldn't affect him for such a long time. The next action of Lucius clarified his doubt as he spoke while moving up the sleeves of his left forearm and showed a vivid red mark on its inner part.

"This mark is still on my arm, that means he indeed escaped from the ministry while most likely getting a severe wound, as a few months before the start of your semester it had taken partially black color which means he was getting his power back but now it returned to the previous state. You haven't seen his full power like us, if I hide along with you all it is unlikely we will be able to remain safe for a long time, as he can always locate me through this mark."

Aruhik now understood why he was talking in a low voice and rejected Aruhik's idea because Dark Mark is always reminding him that Voldemort is alive so he was never able to overcome his fear for Voldemort's strength. But Aruhik also understood his underlying meaning, that if it comes to that situation he will sacrifice himself so his family including Aruhik, Ash, and Sia can remain safe, also because he doesn't want his wife and son to know about this plan, he was talking in low voice.

Deciding to remove the cause that forced Lucius to make an unfavorable decision, Aruhik spoke.

"Since I saw your dark mark for the first time, I have been trying to find a way for removing it. So if you would let me try it, I am sure it can be removed permanently." While saying this, Aruhik extended his right hand and waited for the reply from the Lucius.

Obviously, Aruhik is speaking a lie, because even though he knows about the dark mark he never learned it as this spell is completely useless for them because the magician who received a dark mark from them will have his magical energy pathways destroyed due to mana continuously leaking from the dark mark, as it is something like a curse which can be used to harm the bearer of the mark. So it also obvious he never researched about dispelling it as their mana can easily dispel it.

After a few seconds, Lucius released a sigh and while putting his left arm in front of Aruhik, he spoke.

"Alright, but know many have already tried and failed to do it."

After nodding his head, Aruhik touched the inactive dark mark with his right hand's index finger and began sensing the structure of the spell. He already knew that this is a soul related spell hence it won't be easy to dispel it without harming the bearer of the mark so he contacted Sia and Ash resting in the player's waiting room as it will significantly reduce the time required to completely understand the spell and find an appropriate way to dispel it without harming Lucius.

After a few minutes, three vampires found a way to dispel it without giving any permanent injury to Lucius, so after checking that no one is spying on them he spoke.

"This will sting a bit, so bear with it." Then with giving him any chance to reply, he injected his mana into the mark and began breaking the connection between the mark and Lucius.

Lucius instantly felt a sting in his mind but to hide it from the other two he didn't let out any voice. In less than half a minute Lucius stopped feeling any discomfort he has been experiencing and the dark mark began disappearing from his hand.

Watching the dark mark completely disappear from his hand, he once again released a sigh but this time it was due to relief he is feeling at the moment and a slight smile appeared on his face.

Noticing the happy expression on his Uncle's face, Aruhik knew that this is the right time to have him understand some of the facts, which will break his belief of Voldemort being invincible.

"Also, though I haven't seen Dark Lord's true strength, I am sure he can't contend against V.N. as, during his rise he never fought head-on against the British Ministry, most of his actions were performed in shadows. British Ministry of Magic has less than a hundred Aurors but only security personnel of V.N are more than three hundred so I don't think someone who can't appear in public will dare to fight against such a large organization."

Due to the small size of magical society, a fighting strength of 300 is quite big for a single organization to possess. Though Lucius knows not everybody in V.N. will agree to fight against Dark Lord, he also knows not everyone in Ministry opposed Dark Lord, some even supported him but he still didn't fight a head-on battle against them.

While Lucius was collecting his thoughts about the possible actions he can take with his new circumstances, Aruhik was thinking about something completely different, though these thoughts don't bother him anymore and he won't change any of his decisions because of it, he can't change the fact this is how he feels.

As Aruhik really doesn't want to manipulate someone who is ready to sacrifice himself for their safety but the first thought that came to his mind after understanding his meaning is:

'Is Uncle trying to gain our sympathy by telling me about this fact? What can be his possible goal?'.

Sometimes Aruhik really hates this part of himself and envy those pure kids studying along with him, which include both 'coward' Neville and 'crafty' Slytherins. But he also knows that this is what Aruhik Nox Chalenet is made up of and it is an almost necessary skill for at the very least one among three of them to possess, as it will increase the chances of their survival during their journey in the different worlds.

Even with these feelings, Aruhik knows that if the situation calls for it he will again manipulate Lucius and, though Aruhik will not force him into a death trap for simple things, somehow if it significantly affects the survival of the three vampires Aruhik might personally take his life.

But Aruhik still considers himself as someone who is quite fortunate as he was able to meet his two lifelong companions who can be completely trusted by him and he will willingly sacrifice himself for their survival.

Due to his special familiar contract, he might never take another Beast Vassal but if given a choice to choose again he will still choose the same contract type, as it was because of this reason they began believing each other and he was able to completely trust someone after quite a long time, as his brothers were only ones he ever trusted for the latter half of his first life.

Though now they will belive each other even without their connection, it was their shared thoughts that made it possible, as previously each one of them had their own problems:

Aruhik had his own family circumstances.

Sia's relation with other creatures has always been that of the hunter and prey, some times she was the hunter while other times she was the prey.

And for Ash, before meeting the two vampires she never met a human being who didn't want to hurt her, let alone caring for her, and it was only because of their connected thoughts Ash formed an equal relation with other two, as even while making their familiar contract, their relation was supposed to be that of masters and servant, which changed over the next few months of their contract.

When two were lost in their own thoughts waiting for Narcissa to finish her lecture, she mentioned Aruhik which attracted his attention.

"...you could have at least informed your cousins and asked for their help, but no, you had to show your recklessness along with that stupid Gryffindor...."

As it is almost the time of the match, Aruhik decided to interrupt her lecture, obviously only for now, as it won't be interesting if he didn't get scolded for another couple of hours.

"Three of us would have indeed helped you with this, even without asking for it, you just had to inform us once. So for your next adventure, remember to inform us beforehand."

Draco was staring at the smiling face of Aruhik because he feels like his cousin is doing it on purpose to get him into another trap, as the whole plan was designed by his cousins, even the one asking for help was also them but now he became responsible for everything.

On the other hand, Lucius and Narcissa understood that Aruhik's last line was intentional as they have already talked about it, but Narcissa is more than happy to vent the frustration she felt for more than one week, so she played along.

"Look, you are also having bad effects on your cousins and how can you even think of something like this again..."

Now Draco confirmed, he absolutely did it on purpose, but the trap wasn't the first part, it was the second statement. Draco's attention was attracted by the first statement so he wasn't able to understand the underlying meaning of the second statement.

After a few minutes, Aruhik spoke once again and upon again hearing his cousins' voice Draco began panicking in his mind.

"Aunt, match with will be starting in less than ten minutes, we should leave for the stand."

When Aruhik completed his sentence, instead of being thankful for saving him, Draco began doubting if he has heard right, as he will consider it his lucky day if Aruhik didn't increase the scolding for another hour so he just can't believe that his cousin is helping him in a situation like this.

Before Narcissa could agree, Aruhik gave his suggestion.

"Because tomorrow is Sunday, we won't be having any classes, so Aunt and Draco can continue their discussion after the match."

Though Narcissa agreed and all of them left for the spectator section, Draco's thoughts were: 'Obviously, there is no way my cousin will help me without getting me into another trap.' but sadly he can't even comment about it, let alone denying Aruhik's claims, otherwise he might not even get to attend the quidditch match.

~Hogwarts, Quidditch Grounds: 9th November, Morning~ {POV 3rd Person}

Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy went to guests'viewing stand, while Aruhik and Draco have joined other Slytherin students.

After sitting, Aruhik observed that many other students are holding binoculars or other similar objects, and Draco also took out his wand and used a spell to enhance his eyesight, this is one of the reasons neither Sia or Ash decided to become anything other than beater as even if they suppress their magic sensing which can easily cover the whole Quidditch ground, just their superior eyesight and dynamic vision along with their superior reflexes and strength put them at near invincible position in the game.

Watching other first years struggling with their binoculars, Aruhik and Draco helped those near them by improving their eyesight by spells.

At the same time in the player's waiting room, Marcus was giving a speech to the team.

".....last year we completely crushed Gryffindor. This year we have improved ourselves with better equipment and training, so we will destroy them again..."

While Sia and Ash were waiting for the match to start, they sensed everything that happened with Aruhik.

This also made Sia remember her experience of getting scolded by her human Aunt in this world, though she didn't stop Narcissa at that time because she is the second person after Aruhik who cared for her and she was genuinely worried for her and Aruhik at that time, it absolutely does not mean she liked the feeling of getting lectured for the first time in her tens of millennia of life, so she is also happy watching someone experiencing the same thing as her at that time.

When there were only five minutes left for the match to start, they sensed through Aruhik, Gryffindors have created a large banner for Harry on a slightly ruined sheet, which was continuously switching colors, with a lion drawn on it and on top of the banner it was written, 'Gryffindor's Hero: Harry Potter', most likely due to his recent feat of capturing Voldemort, as an Order of Merlin medal was drawn beside his name, also to represent it as the first-class medal, ironically they had to paint the ribbon with Slytherin's color, which is green.

While on the Slytherin's side, as both girls, especially Ash's relation is quite good with other female students, first-year Slytherin girls have shown their monetary capabilities by displaying a beautiful banner designed by the professionals, on the top half of the banner 'Asheal Lestrange' was written on the left side, while 'Sitasia Lestrange' on the right side. Also at the bottom half of the banner, a green snake is beating the hell out of a lion over and over again.

Upon watching the banner even those Gryffindors became strangely silent, as more than one student from houses other than Gryffindor thought that the banner is...quite extreme.

But when they saw what Aruhik did next, they instantly began thinking that compared to what Aruhik Lestrange has done the banner was quite average.

Because Aruhik knows that there is no way Sia and Ash will lose in today's match, he didn't prepare anything to cheer them up for their first official appearance in the sport. Due to their connected thoughts, he can never give any surprise to them and he knows that they won't care about something like this, even now both are telling the same thing in his mind but he still feels slightly guilty for overlooking it, so he turned towards Daphne sitting among other first-year girls and asked her while releasing his restraint over the charm.

"Ladies, excuse me for making such a request but as you can see I didn't bring anything for showing my support to Sia and Ash, therefore even though both told me that they are very happy with your support, I also want to do something to cheer them up. So can you lend me your banner, I promise, I will make it more beautiful."

Daphne is the one closest to Ash and it was her idea to prepare the banner, so the one Aruhik expected to answer was her. But, more than one girl including her answered with slightly blushing cheeks.

"Sure."

"Alright."

"I believe you can make it more impressive."

Aruhik understood, he has underestimated the long term effect of suppressed charm as sudden exposure to its full effect almost turned them into lovestruck fools. Though they will recover, it will take some time, and by some time he means at the very least one day, so he again suppressed his charm and replied.

"Thank you."

While on the other side, after observing the reaction of girls through Aruhik, both vampire girls came to a somewhat similar but different conclusion. Sia thought that at least in the school she won't release the restraints over her charm, as being pestered by lower lifeforms will be annoying, while Ash thought that in time of need she can at least command every first-year Slytherin boys.

At the Quidditch stand, first-year boys watched how easily those girls agreed to give the banner to Aruhik, at last Theodore can't bear but speak.

"How did they agree to let you do changes in it? They didn't even let me touch it."

In reply to this question, Aruhik spoke the truth because he knows none of them would believe it.

"Isn't it obvious? I am much more handsome and charming than anyone of you." As Aruhik spoke in a low voice, only boys near him heard it so even Draco had a strange strange expression on him.

Noticing Draco's expression, Aruhik concluded that even he had been denied to handle the banner so he asked his doubt to Draco.

"You already knew about the banner?"

As this time he spoke in a normal voice, so instead of Draco, Tracey answered him who came near Aruhik to hand over the folded banner while still having slight blush on her face.

"We wanted to give surprise to Asheal and Sitasia so we told boys to hide it from you. I hope you don't mind it because if you knew, it won't be a surprise for them." From her actions and words, Aruhik can infer that she is still under the effect of his charm and it hasn't reduced even a little, as expected by him it will remain for the next 25 to 30 hours.

"I surely don't mind, after all, they really liked it. But I won't say anything else about it as they would prefer to thank all of you personally after the match."

After getting the banner, Aruhik had to first destroy the previous spell in it because spells made by magical energy can't work alongside his mana. As there are only a few minutes left for players to enter the stadium, so he began using spells on the different components of the banner at such an incredible rate that only a few peoples can follow it. Obviously, he mixed the dark element in the mana used to execute the spell otherwise at least Harry and Dumbledore would be able to feel the incredible amount of energy used to create just some decorations.

Fortunately, he was able to complete all the preparations when there was still more than a minute left for players to enter.

The banner began rising up in the air and finally, it stopped at the height of around 10 meters from the highest point of Slytherin viewing stand, then the banner expanded in size and unfolded itself, it looked almost the same, except the fact the now there are seven lions but there is still only one snake.

Because of its expanded size now everyone was able to see it clearly even at such a height. Even many Slytherins were confused about what Aruhik is trying to do by showing seven lions ganging up on one green snake, suddenly one of the lions got defeated and snake threw it out of the 2D banner and real lion landed heavily 3 meters below the banner also it began crying in anime style tears like someone has fixed an open tap in its both eyes, thankfully the water disappeared before reaching the Slytherin students otherwise they would have experienced taking an outdoor cold shower in freezing winter.

In less than 30 seconds, the other six lions were also thrown out of the banner and landed upon each other while crying anime-style tears. Soon the snake also came out of the banner, when it reached above the 'pile of lions', the snake began transforming into a human.

Within a few seconds, the snake turned into an adult female wearing Slytherin player's uniform, her facial features are not identifiable as it is formed of silver fumes, whenever Aruhik recalls the old man who sent him here he remembers his features as white fumes so he copied it in silver color.

As if to signify that she represents Sia and Ash, she is also wearing a hood and in place of her right eye deep blue iris is present, the same as Sia's eyes, while in place of her left eye deep black iris is present, same as Ash's eyes, also from the front of hood others can observe that she has black hair which is same for the three vampires.

After watching until now, all the spectators have already turned silent. Like there are invisible steps in the void she began walking down towards the 'pile of crying lions'. When she reached it and finally sat on it, people began noticing that the 'pile of crying lions' is actually arranged in the form of 'throne made of crying lions'.

She sat on it in a somewhat lazy manner, leaning on her left side with her left forearm resting one of the lions, which is arranged to look like armrest also her right leg is crossed over her left leg with her left foot resting on the face of the lion at the bottom whose amount of tears almost doubled.

At the same time, the banner above her broke down in multicolored light particles, among which purple light gathered together to write 'Sitasia' in the space above throne while black particles gathered together to form 'Asheal', remaining light particles gathered to form the name of other five players but as if representing greater support to Sia and Ash, other names were written in a smaller size also they were present below other two.

The process of snake converting into a female to her sitting on top of the lions took only around five seconds, so all spectators were still silent. This silence broke when Lee Jordan asked Professor McGonagall, completely forgetting the fact that he is still holding the mic.

"Professor, is it even within the rules of the school?"

Completely ignoring whatever reply Professor McGonagall might give, Slytherins began cheering in a loud voice. Obviously, it is within the rules, Aruhik won't do such any silly mistakes while supporting his lovers, so even Lee Jordan knows it is within the rules to show support to their team as long as it doesn't disturb the match, and it is already out of the bounds of quidditch field that's why he asked whether it is within school rules, not quidditch rules.

Inside Slytherin's waiting room a happy smile appeared on Sia's face while a complex expression along with a slight smile appeared on Ash's face. As even Ash felt this is too extreme though the happiness she felt is the same as Sia, if not greater than her. After all, who doesn't like their lover openly supporting them, even so, Ash mentally mentioned her worries to Aruhik.

'Won't this expose too much about our capabilities?'

'As I said before, all my plans are already in motion so as long as we don't expose too much at once it will be fine. Also, we joined this school to enjoy ourselves not for executing any secret mission, so no need to constrain ourselves too much, if our letting loose creates too many problems we can always change schools or even go back to our previous lifestyle.'

By this time Marcus also noticed the different reactions of Sia and Ash, so he asked.

"Sitasia, Asheal, what happned?"

Asheal didn't disclose anything but replied.

"There is a surprise waiting for us at the stadium."

First to enter the field was Gryffindor team and Gryffindors cheered in a much louder voice that what someone expected from students, through his more sensitive hearing Aruhik found out that many students including girls are practically shouting at the top of their lungs and also more than 80% students from other two houses have joined them.

Aruhik released a sigh as he once again recognized this fact, that these children are really innocent because normal adults wouldn't have been able to act like this after taking such a big hit from his conversion of the banner but here they are showing even greater support to prevent their teams' spirit from going down.

Also even though more than 70% of students are supporting their opposing team, none of the three vampires hate this kind of atmosphere as they don't even remember the last time they have been to a place where most people are this 'naive and innocent'.

Harry came out the last following behind Fred and George but instead of going to the center of field like talked about, all of them have stopped on their tracks looking towards the same direction. Soon he heard Fred and George talking, which on combining can become monotone.

"Those seven crying lions...."

".....are us. And the one sitting on them..."

".....Lestrange sisters..."

Hearing this Harry also looked in the same direction, there he saw a throne made of lions who are crying and a girl wearing Slytherin uniform is sitting on it. As if sensing him, she turned her head towards him and he saw a face made of silver fumes with heterochromatic eyes containing the only two iris, as she stared towards them he saw that her eyes are taking blood-red color.

This really scared him as the only person he has seen with red eyes is Voldemort on the back of Quirrell's head. Soon her eyes returned back to original heterochromatic color, also he can swear that even trough the fumes he saw her smiling.

Even though he doesn't have any serious stage fright, like in the original time, now he is really scared. Even Professor McGonagall is looking at the 'support demonstration' created by Aruhik because even if she wants to replicate it in the exact same manner, the time required to execute it will definitely be more than just one day, but she doesn't know that Aruhik created it in just a few minutes, she is believing Slytherins hired professionals to form the banner they just didn't show it previously.

Lions and names are rather easy for her only problem will be her limited magical energy, so to maintain it for the whole match some extra charms will be required, but the girl sitting on top of lions, though not impossible it is indeed very difficult for her.

As she also saw her eyes changing color, smiling at the Gryffindor team, and observing other people in the stadium, transfiguring non-magical creature is easy for her, she can also transfigure some magical creatures with low magical capabilities though its difficulty is much higher than that of non-magical creatures.

But transfiguring a completely new magical creature, on top that it doesn't have a solid shape as it is made of fumes, at the moment, it is a near-impossible feat for her, she will require many testing and research to execute it.

Soon Slytherin team also entered the field, though the number and intensity of cheers were much lower than Gryffindors, after watching the crying lions their confidence is higher.

When all of them gathered around the referee, Madam Hooch, standing in the middle of the field waiting for the two teams, her broom in her hand, she said.

"Now, I want a nice fair game, all of you."

All players noticed that she seemed to be speaking particularly to the Slytherin Captain, Marcus Flint. Then she gave the next instruction.

"Mount your brooms, please."

Madam Hooch released Bludger and Golden Snitch, Harry tried to follow the snitch with magic sense but as it happened in the practice, it soon went out of his range, while both Sia and Ash easily knew the location and movement of Bludger without even trying. Though suppressing their senses will make the game more interesting, obviously, three of them won't leave themselves open just for a quidditch game.

After this Madam Hooch tossed the Quaffle high up in the air and gave a loud blast on her silver whistle. Fifteen brooms rose up high into the air and the game began.

"And the Quaffle is taken immediately by Adrian Pucey of Slytherin___a pass to___no, interrupted by Alicia Spinnet, a good find of Oliver Wood's, last year only a reserve...."

At this time Sia and Ash began doing their work.

"Oh! A Bludger precisely hit the Quaffle___Spinnet loses the hold___Slytherins have taken the Quaffle, Slytherin Captain Marcus Flint gains the Quaffle and he goes ahead for goal posts___Johnson following behind closely___stopped by a Bludger in front___an attempt to score by Flint___Keeper Wood goes for save___blocked by another Bludger___ SLYTHERINS SCORE!___nice work Slytherin Beaters___that is one of the fastest goals..."

Soon three vampires noted a strange thing, the commentator Lee Jordon isn't biased towards Gryffindors as shown in the original. According to Aruhik the possible reason for his bias might be the dirty play of Slytherins, but they won't do it this time as their chance of winning is much greater even without relying on it.

In the next 15 minutes, Slytherin reached the score of 40 points while Gryffindor still at discouraging zero points and this is when two vampire girls are not even trying, as till now none of the players have been directly targetted by them, also they have decided that they won't interfere with the Seekers unless at least one of them have located the Snitch.

"...Bell going for goal posts___Beater Weasley Blocked the Bludger, targetted by Sitasia Lestrange___Oh! Another Bludger has already hit the Quaffle, targeted by Asheal Lestrange___Pucey going for the catch___close miss___Quaffle gained by Johnson following close to Bell___Lestrange sisters once again close to Bludger___And___Did they actually missed the target?___No! Their target is Harry Potter, Gryffindor Seeker___Has he found the Snitch?___Weasley twins rising up to support Potter___Terence Higgs, Slytherin Seeker picking speeding___Higgs also located the Snitch, right in front of Ravenclaw's stand___Lestranges repeatedly targetting Potter____Potter still trapped between speeding Bludgers___Awesome precision Slytherin Beaters___Higgs chasing after the snitch___Oh! At this moment, if somebody carefully looks toward Aruhik, they will find that he has a slightly strange smile on his face, it is because he knows what Sia and Ash are about to do.

Both Sia and Ash targeted Harry in such a way that Fred blocked only Sia's attacks while only George blocked only Ash's attacks, obviously, the can identify the twins correctly due to their magical signature, but that isn't important here.

After both twins blocked two attacks each, Harry has already left the position to chase after Snitch, but Fred's attention is only on Sia while George's focusing only on Ash, so both girls targeted Bludger at a blank space, some distance away from them, due to this both twins just observed the Bludger and didn't move from their position, thinking they missed it.

But what happened next they never expected, from their perspective they saw the Bludger targetted at blank space beside them suddenly hit another Bludger and got deflected towards them. They didn't even have any chance to respond so Bludgers hit Fred's wrist and George's elbow of their bat holding arm, so even though they just felt pain without any serious injuries due to shock received in the joints both of them dropped their bats.

Both looked towards each other, finding their twin brother in similar condition both dived down to pick up their bats while speaking in the same voice.

"Damn it." "Damn it."

Just like normal humans can predict the result of a collision, if objects involved are moving in very low speed, from the perspective of two vampires everything here is happening at a very low speed, as even Aruhik can easily break the sonic barrier and respond to objects moving at that speed, let alone two vampire girls, who can crush literally him in almost every parameter except the size of mana pool.

"...Gryffindor Beaters have actually dropped their bats___I don't know if it was on purpose but nicely done Slytherin Beaters___Potter again targetted by Bludgers___With the chasers, Slytherin still trying to increase their points___Oh! Higgs stopped___he is looking around him___he lost the Snitch___Potter is free___but Gryffindor chasers trapped like him___Weasley twins still searching for bats___Flint for a goal___Wood blocked once again___SLYTHERIN SCORES...."

The game continued for more than an hour, during this time Higgs also located the snitch but two vampires didn't even let Harry get near it and by the time Higgs got to position it moved to a different location, so he wasn't able to follow it.

When Sia and Ash had enough fun and noticed a drop in the efficiency of both team players, they decided to end the match by once again trapping Harry between fast-moving Bludgers and told the location of Snitch to Higgs, because since the start of the match, their senses knew its position at every moment.

When the match ended whole Gryffindor stand was filled with depressing atmosphere, more than just a few students felt depression in Lee Jordan's voice when he announced the result, which was Slytherin at 330 points but Gryffindor still at depressing zero points.

As the match ended, Slytherin began cheering in a loud voice, along with Lee Jordan's declaration, the 'support demonstration' created by Aruhik broke down into silver-green fumes and formed a huge Slytherin emblem above the quidditch field, which was responded by even louder cheers from Slytherins. After a few seconds, the fumes converged back to the original folded banner and fell into Aruhik's hand, then he gave it back to Daphne, its original owner while saying.

"Thanks again for lending it to me. I hope you don't mind but I have created some permanent changes in it, now you can change the names of players and even the lions can be changed to other animals, so it can also be used for matches against other houses."

"Obviously, I don't mind, it has become much better."

Soon Sia and Ash joined him, as instead of going to players' waiting room they came to him. Even without their thoughts connected just looking at the slight redness in their iris, which appears from time to time, he can guess what they want, so tomorrow morning they will be waking up much later than usual.

But for now, they will be joining remaining Slytherins for celebrations in the common room, as Aruhik has already ordered many types of cakes and ice-creams, though most of the latter will be consumed by them after all currently it is winter season, even surface of the black lake is frozen like cold steel.

On a side note, Draco didn't receive another scolding because Narcissa was quite happy due to the excellent performance of Sia and Ash in the Quidditch match, so Draco was really cheerful during the whole celebration as after one week he will be the second-youngest holder of Order of Merlin, First Class, with Harry being the youngest so this can also be considered as an early celebration, but he doesn't know that three vampires have recorded this account for another time, after all, it is because of them he wasn't able to get the loving care his mother.

On the other side, even the whole Gryffindor team was disheartened by this match because in the match that went for more than an hour they confirmed the fact that Slytherin Beaters were holding back which can't be passed as just a little holding back, because during the whole match none of the Gryffindors players got attacked directly by a Bludger, even when it hit them the result was just temporary pain and shock. Sia and Ash didn't attack them directly because it will be a one-hit knock out for each player.

Most affected by this were Harry and Weasley twins, one felt that he wasn't able to do anything during the whole match, which is somewhat true, while the other two felt they were pretty much useless, as let alone attacking the opposite team they weren't even able to defend properly, on top of that, they even lost their bat at the important moment when Harry located the Snitch.

But first to come out of depression were also three them, and began cheering up others to do better practice for the next match.

Weasley twins are really not someone who can remain depressed for a long time. As for Harry, while competing against three Lestrange Siblings in the training sessions he has faced defeats which are much worse than this.

Harry still clearly remembers his fourth last training session, that was one of the rare cases when instead of teachers the training session was directed by three siblings, that one was given to Asheal. The only instruction she gave was:

'Use your everything whether it is your courage, strong will, or even fear, to move from your original position.'

After that they stood in the practice room, facing each other, even though he was confused by her instruction Harry took a stance to face her attack at any moment, but Asheal didn't take any stance for an attack or protection, she was standing there with the usual smile on her face.

He was ready to attack her because she didn't make any protection around her but the instant Aruhik declared the start of the match, he froze on his original spot, a deep fear rose inside him, let alone using any spell even the breath was caught in his lungs. Even though he didn't have his magic sense at that time, something was telling him to run away from there.

Asheal hadn't even changed her expression from start, she was still standing at the original position with the same smile on her face but instead of any kindness and closeness he felt before, she 'looked' so dangerous that he might get killed for one wrong action.

It was to such an extent that he was afraid to even breathe because even though she was still looking at him, it felt like breathing might attract her attention to him and he would get killed. Soon even his knees gave out while sitting on ground he wanted to turn his face away from her but his fear stopped him from doing even that.

As he was about to pass out, all those feelings vanished, his vision cleared and he began taking deep breaths. For him, it felt like hours have passed but Aruhik informed him that not even half a minute has passed, at that time he didn't even notice his clothes have been soaked with sweat in less than half a minute.

Though they didn't tell him how did they create this effect, they did tell him the use of this training, if he passed this training then even in the face of a hopeless situation he can take actions whether it is fighting against the situation, shown by taking a step towards Asheal or fleeing from the situation to save his life, shown by taking a step away from Asheal because according to three of them, according to Aruhik, staying at the same position without taking any action is the worst choice in such a situation.

After understanding its importance he asked them to continue the practice, even though each time he was very tempted to move away from her, he felt it would be very shameful to take such an action in front of his friends, in simple words his pride didn't allow him to take such an action. So after more than a couple of hours of training, he finally took one step forward.

Actually, this is the training created to improve capabilities of Glaives, when Ash joined them and others found out that her capabilities are much higher than them, they asked three vampires to train them, after all, they recognized the fact that three of them are much stronger than others and Asheal, their new partner has improved quite fast. After passing this training, whenever they face a dangerous situation, they are capable of trying to flee with their life or hold their position till help arrives.

~Greece, Peloponnese, Castle owned by Lestrange: 3 Days before Christmas, Near Midnight~ {POV 3rd Person}

In ancient times of the Harry Potter World, Greece has been the origin of many ancient magics, the birthplace of strong magical species like Basilisk, Chimaera, Manticore, and other similar creatures created by the experiment of magicians, natural residence of rare creatures like Siren, Three-headed dog, and Griffin, it has even served as the place for the origin of many ancient pureblood wizarding families. Even now many strong as well as famous wizards and witches reside in this country.

On the surface, Peloponnese is an international tourist site, packed full of many ancient castles signifying the Golden Age of Greece but on the magical side there are many magical monuments, inaccessible by muggles, in some cases, even magicians are not allowed to enter those places, as some lethal traps and protection magic are still working there.

Not many families are capable of owning a property in this place, after all, first, most ancient families from here have become extinct so now Ministry owns the most property, and second, even though Lestrange own just one castle in this Peloponnese region, they are not allowed to do any changes in it, at most they can sell it to another person and even selling it to anyone other than Ministry is not easy.

As only a few days are left for Christmas, many small celebrations are happening around this region making it easier to hide their activities, so three vampires have invited Glaives in their castle for an early celebration also to give a farewell party to 8 Glaives who will be retiring after this.

Mr. Ravi, Mr. Dalton, and Mrs. Sweta are also among those retiring members. Everyone except Mrs. Sweta is retiring because of criteria set by Aruhik and they have been informed about it when they joined the Glaives, the only exception to this is Mr. Wright who doesn't do any Glaives work but manages their finances, while Mrs. Sweta is retiring because her husband Mr. Dalton is retiring.

As this castle was created in ancient Greece, it contains a central wide hall more than enough to accommodate 114 Glaives for the party. Since it is already midnight, food arranged for them isn't anything heavy just some exotic light snacks, cakes, and drinks from different parts of the world also different flavors ice-cream.

Even though snowing has just stopped in the northern cities of Greece, none of the Glaives are confused by the presence of ice-creams, as by this time every one of them knows that their three young leaders love it to such an extent that every secret base or safe house they have created across the world for use of Glaives includes a freezer filled with at least five varieties of ice cream that are not available in that region. Though almost none of them, except three vampires, took a risk of getting cold during Christmas time, by eating the ice-cream, three of them indeed got teased by some of the female Glaives.

Around 30 minutes after everybody arrived Auhik decided that it is time to enter the main subject, so along with Sia and Ash, he climbed the stage present at one end of the hall and attracted everybody's' attraction. When the hall quieted down, he began speaking.

"First, Merry Christmas in advance to all the Glaives,

More than once many of you have asked me 'Why I refer to all of us as Glaives?' after all glaive means a weapon for attack, as in some places it is the word for swords while in some places it means polearm, so how does it represent us?

Before forming this group, I read a story about a war-torn world in which there were some humans who are gifted with the capability to use magic, a magician gathered them and taught them to use the mana present inside them. Finally, those people began working together to form Glaives with the desire to accomplish a single wish.

At that time, I knew the literal meaning of word Glaive, but after reading that story it had one more and much bigger meaning for me.

I believe Glaives are a group of magicians from different parts of the world, with different cultures, different likes, and dislikes, but all of them are voluntarily working together for the same but somewhat different wish, that is, I want to protect my family and home town.

It has been around seven years since we gathered, from different parts of the world, for the first time. When we executed our first task our count was even less than ten but now we are more than a hundred.

By now we have executed so many missions I have even lost its count but facts show we have indeed decreased the crime rate in both magical and muggle society.

Obviously, we are still far from reaching our final goal but I never expected it to be work of just one generation, after all how discouraging it might sound, the world is a big place, we can't change it in just a few years. But we can indeed be the one to start this change and pave a path for our next generations to follow.

When I first thought about the idea of creating such a secretive group, my biggest fear was in the future this group might deviate from its original goal.

We all know that over the years Glaives have stored a vast amount of sensitive information and as time passes it will only increase. If we use that information many of the magician families can be controlled and in some cases, we can even affect the decision of the whole country.

Till now, all of you should have learned about many types of people in both magical and muggle societies. And upon observing closely you all will discover an interesting fact, that is, as one grows older their tendency to manipulate other people increases.

Is it bad to control others?

My personal opinion, it is not wrong because this is how humans work, it is in their nature to manipulate those working under them and it is a necessary thing for a society to work as if we are manipulating others to do something good then though I won't say it is good, it is also not a crime.

But I can't allow it to happen in our group, as if we do it once, I know we won't be able to stop ourselves from doing it again, and with the help of our information bank, the final result can be catastrophic.

So I made the rule, that Glaives can leave the group anytime they wish for it, and once a Glaive reaches the age of 33 years he or she must retire from the group. Even though I know that none of you have a tendency to manipulate others, it is a fact that if a human is exposed to power for a long time, they try to control it.

I have been stalling the retirement for a couple of years because to me it looked like I am punishing someone by forcing them to leave the group even though they didn't do anything wrong.

But now I am sure, our companionship isn't something so shallow, that can be affected due to something as insignificant as this. During these years we have become families that we have been trying to protect and I believe at the time of my retirement you all will treat me the same way.

So let us cheer up our companion and families by eating one bowl of ice-cream each."

Even a few seconds after Aruhik stopped speaking, nobody spoke and almost everyone was eyeing the ice-bowls that suddenly appeared on a blank table as the number of bowls is at least double the number of people in this hall. To break the silence Aruhik once again spoke.

"What happened? Even if you all want more than one ice-cream bowls, I won't stop anyone."

Their party concluded on a happy note but none of them followed Aruhik's suggestion, instead, they took other hot snacks and drinks.

~Great Britain, Devon: 25 December, Morning~ {POV 3rd person}

Suddenly a burst of flames appeared on the outskirts, there is nothing visible here but mud, sand, grass, and bushes. When the flame disappeared, Dumbledore came out of it with Pheonix sitting on his left shoulder but it soon disappeared in another burst of flames.

Dumbledore glanced around and after determining the direction he began walking towards the open grass. Indistinctly, he felt something hindering his movements, so he took a few steps forward and the space around him suddenly changed, a broad courtyard appeared in front of him.

In the center of the courtyard is a quirky, seemingly alive house as a few eye-like windows are looking at Dumbledore, shaking its huge body from time to time, and sometimes thick white smoke escaping from the chimney making it look like an actual huge living creature.

As Dumbledore approached the courtyard, the big alive courtyard opened its huge mouth so that the old wizard with a white beard waiting in front of it could enter its body. It is not the first time for Dumbledore to enter it so he walked in without fear, and vaguely felt a scorching heat. On his left side, in place of a fireplace, there is a strange silver-white box with 'Valden Nox' written on it, containing some glowing red rods, and heat is rising from those rods to keep the house warm.

While his right side is a whole hall is full of bookshelves, densely packed with a large number of books and some parchment papers with symbols or patterns scattered on the ground along with a group of small alchemy creatures moving around. When Dumbledore got close to them, he had to carefully confirm their position with magic sense to avoid stepping on them while walking.

An old voice came from the same direction Dumbledore is walking towards.

"Albus? Why did you suddenly come to see me?"

Dumbledore turned his head from the alchemy creatures and looked over, it is Nicolas Flamel who came out of the backroom.

Dumbledore keenly sensed that compared to the last meeting Nicolas's condition is much worse. His wrinkled face is much paler, the thin body that can make people worry whether it will be blown by slightly strong winds also his senses are telling him that vitality and magical energy inside that body are much lower.

"Long time no see, Nicolas!" Instead of answering his question, Dumbledore greeted him, even though the obvious answer would have been to visit for Christmas, but both know each other quite well, so none of them will believe it.

"Yeah, it should be more than half a year now? We met last time to destroy the stone."

Indeed they have destroyed the sorcerer's stone quite a while ago all this time Voldemort was baited by false one because Dumbledore just can't take any chances, also though three vampires don't care about it even they don't know the truth.

Nicolas waved away the alchemy creatures who have already gathered around Dumbledore's feet and then quipped.

"I think if there is nothing important, you might not even think of coming to me, so let's talk inside!"

"You know, I am always busy with my work, and I have to deal with some troublesome children ... Of course, sometimes, there are some worries outside of work that need to be dealt with ... "

As someone dealing with politicians for a long time, Dumbledore's face is amazingly thick, and there isn't even a slight change in his expressions in the face of Nicolas's jokes.

After entering the back room, Dumbledore was surprised to find that it was very different from the last time he came, and it looked more like a Muggle living room.

TVs, refrigerators, ovens, and other household appliances that are all available with muggles, also many opened and complete mobile phones. Almost all of them have a mark of 'Valden Nox', but it seems that all of them have been modified one way or another.

When he saw the expression of amazement on Dumbledore's face Nicolas smiled and asked.

"Surprised?"

"Yes!"

Watching Dumbledore nod his head, Nicolas praised with a happy smile.

"The production of V.N. is very interesting and always gives me a lot of inspiration, also they are introducing similar items in muggle society but in the non-magical form...It seems that it is good to live for a long time, especially since the world has suddenly become interesting in the past 100 years not as monotonous as before..."

Speaking till here, Nicolas became a little sad that he can no longer see a more distant future...but he quickly calmed his emotions and asked about the business.

"Yes, Albus, you came to me this time because of that person?"

"No! Voldemort is fairly settled recently. I don't know where he is hiding, and can't get any news about it."

Dumbledore shook his head and continued.

"They are a group of little magicians who have just joined the school. I think you should have some images of their names! Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy also the three kids who are commonly referred to as Lestrange siblings."

"Knowing you I can understand the first two, but Lestranges? Aren't they the owners of V.N.?" Nicolas Flamel thought for a while and then considering Dumbledore's nature he can guess some reasons for the first two, but for the last three, he actually has a good impression of them.

"Yes!" Dumbledore nodded so Nicolas said with a smile.

"It is a coincidence, I indeed have heard quite a bit about them..."

Then Dumbledore noticed more than one TVs present here, only to remember that Nicolas had made the habit of watching almost every news since TVs have been first sold into the wizarding market.

Interrupting his thoughts, suddenly Nicolas asked.

"Albus, since you should be more familiar with three of them, what do you think of their character?"

Instead of answering, Dumbledor asked while laughing.

"Why? Are you interested in joining their company?"

Nicolas replied in a slightly depressed voice.

"Unfortunately no. Just like you, I also know myself, once I got invested again in alchemy, I won't be able to leave it and will try to extend my life one way or another, but I have already decided to enjoy the remaining time with Perenelle and finally take a rest. Though I indeed hope my research and studies can help them improve further, otherwise it will be cheaper for the Ministry of Magic...".

After living for more than six hundred years, Nicolas Flamel has already seen and experienced many things. So after his death, he originally planned to donate all his collections to Beauxbatons and Hogwarts, while the rest was handed over to the Ministry of Magic, leaving only the house and some memorable things for him to bury.

Dumbledore said so, with a little memory on his face and spoke about his views along with their reasons so Nicolas can judge it fairly.

Of all the students he has taught, they are undoubtedly among the most unique ones. To him, it looks like they don't want to accomplish anything in their life, the only thing they care about is each other, he can still accept it, after all, it is not like there is no one like that.

However, upon comparing it with their accomplishments, it creates a strange contrast because almost every Professor claims that they are excellent if not the best students they have ever taught, but it is quite obvious that those three don't really care about marks and fame, as their performance in class depends on their mood, after all, he can actually count in his fingers the number of times they have actually submitted a complete homework.

This is just in school, in society, they hold the second-largest amount of shares from the biggest company in the world also he and Nicolas have already identified the fact that when they began investing in the V.N., the company was running on huge losses as the initial price of items sold by the company were even less than the amount required to create it. Though now they are very rich, it was impossible to predict it at that time. So he can conclude only one thing that they almost bankrupted their whole family just to increase the progress of magical society because at that time many pureblood families and even ministry opposed them for investing in that company. But by watching over them for four months, his experience tells him that they are not the ones to care about well being of other people.

Also, he is very grateful for the fact that they don't hate muggles and muggle-born magicians, as they are among those few people who are in good relation with every other house, as they even interact with Gryffindors, who are generally hated by almost every Slytherin, on top of this if he adds the fact that their both parents are in lifelong imprisonment for killing and torturing non-pureblood magicians, it feels quite strange that they don't hate anyone about it.

And they are very good at lying and concealing also they do not care about Hogwarts rules as their coming late to more than 30% of classes clearly indicate it and even the rules of Ministry of Magic don't affect them as almost everyone can guess that those three are the ones responsible for the destruction of those five families, even though no proofs were found. This means they won't hesitate to take the life of other people, after all, more than 70% percent magicians in those families were found dead, which even included underage magicians.

He won't care too much if they only had one of these qualities but if he combines all those together, it becomes something that is impossible for him to ignore.

After Dumbledore finished speaking, he quietly watched Nicolas, looking forward to his assessment.
