Chapter 32: Neifion And the Force Magic

Saeth, Vaughan, and Llewsern stood united, with the formidable opossum, Mawrthi, towering behind them as they eyed the cave guarded by Mages blocking their path.

“It seems one has already been taken out,” Saeth observed, noting a mage sitting unconscious at the cave’s entrance.

“This won’t take long,” Vaughan responded, his smile broadening.

“Once the Mages are delt with, we’ll manage any inhabitants of that cave,” Llewsern declared, inspecting the feline-like claws on his hands.

“we’ll ensure his safety within,” Neifion Dacus glanced over his shoulder at two young islanders, a male and a female, emerging from the cave’s safety to hoist Rhys Faughn onto their shoulders. Despite their bodies being nearly consumed by rough scales, with parts turned to stone, they managed to carry Rhys back into the cave. again, on nodded in gratitude as they disappeared once again into the cave.

“Saeth, take Mawrthi now and clear the cave of any occupants,” Vaughan commanded.
