Zaya POV

After Anna finished showing us our new sleeping arrangements, I decided to show Audrey around. I thought maybe I would take her to the market for shopping. Audrey wanted to freshen up and said she would meet me downstairs in about five minutes. Anna had gone ahead of us since she had errands to run for Luna Ariel.

I was surprised to not see many people around the house as I came down. I could hear Godric and Alex talking in the office when I left the bedroom. Other than the two guards outside the office, there weren’t any other wolves around. As I stood in the foyer waiting for Audrey, a small whimper grabbed my attention. It was coming from a side hallway. One that held various secluded rooms like a small library, a wine cellar, and a pool room.
