And just like that, another year passed. Luke was now 21 years old, however, his real age, not of his mind and body, but of his soul, was far more than that. The passing of a year did not seem like much to him. The only problem was, that he did not increase his level by too much since he had reached the max exp for level 44.

Instead, he kept the extra exp, waiting for the chance to go and find his little Drake, get some legendary blood, or simply wait for another 2 years for Drake to become a true dragon and get legendary blood from it.

However, for that, he needed to be able to retrieve Drake from wherever he was. Luke had, by now, completed the two [Power Up II] and his stats had grown by a lot! There was not much more he could do as of this moment, other than just slowly accumulating money to buy more mythical drops of blood and making more arrays.

That method, would at least take him another 10 years to get enough wealth, and then another half to a whole year to make a new array. Although Luke was a patient person, no one would be willing to waste so much time on just preparing to become stronger, when you could just level up easily by grinding.

Now, he had already come up with a plan, and so picked up his phone on the table and called his secretary, Lucy. She, who was once a farmer commoner, went through the hell of having her parents separated from her, and then later killed, had matured greatly in the few years that had passed between then and now.

She was not a mature beauty to say the least, who worked as Luke's secretary, since he was the least bit bothered to actually micro-manage the whole of CoD. Which was another driving force for him to create an artificial life-form to help Lucy do her job, since a single person cannot run the entire organization, and he could not leave the job for other people who might be spies or might turn into spies due to threats or coercion by his enemies.

But that plan could be put aside for the time being. Luke had already planned out what type of life-form he was going to create, as well as how to create it and was only missing materials. However, these materials were so rare that even the council would not be willing to give it away.

But, if he had luck on his side, he might be able to get what he wanted on the way to retrieve Drake.

"Lucy, bring the kid over"

"Ok"

Then the phone was cut.

'…She should speak more than just the bare minimum required'

Luke sighed before waiting for a while in his office, until Lucy entered with a young man, before turning around and leaving.

This young man was around 13 years old, and had a rather well-built body for his age, making him look like he was around Luke's age. His shiny bronze skin had a long scar that went from his left shoulder all the way down to his right hip as thought it was a portal to another dimension.

This young man, was the kid from conner village who had the protagonist build that Luke had found out about when he first came to the village.

"So, John, have you thought about it?"

"Yes."

After saying that much, John who was previously a 10-year-old kid, kneeled down on the ground with a pious expression as though he was facing his god and said, "Master!"
