Chapter 72 Tempting

"Hhmm…?"

I opened my blurry eyes while stretching my back.

Sleeping on my bed at my room really bringing an unusual comfort for me.

The warmth of the blanket, the soft mattress, the huggable pillow and the sweet aroma of citrus.

Wait a minute.

Citrus?

As far as I remember, I never put a citrus aroma on my bedroom.

Even the warmth of my pillow feels soothing and warming than usual.

Indeed, it's comforting as I snuggle on the pillow.

But the curiosity on my mind mingling around, reminding me there's something bizarre on my bed.

I rubbed my eyes slowly as I release my hug toward the pillow.

The sleepy feeling suddenly gone as the blurry view become clearer than ever.

I jumped out of my bed by reflex since it's not a pillow that I usually hug when I'm sleep.

It's Raenisa that I had hug while I sleep on my room.

"W-w-w-what the hell?! H-h-how she come into my room?!"

I panicked and flustered simultaneously.

My shouting surely wakes Raenisa up from her slumber.

"Mmm…? Oh, you just wake up, Rezvan."

Raenisa calmly wake up with her oversize coat reveal some of her boobs.

It was damn tempting.

But I took a long breath while diverting my gaze before I went crazy over that.

After taking a breath and exhale it simultaneously, I calmed my mind from that urges then look at Raenisa with firmly.

"Okay… don't tell me you followed me back when I go home with Amdarais' Magical Gate."

I suspect her action.

"You barely realize that and went asleep as you arrived in here, so I'll sleep with you."

Raenisa answered calmly.

"That's…. not the proper way you should do it, Raenisa."

"It's right for me because I'm your wife now, Rezvan."

"That's not even the point! Don't you realize if any human sees 'someone' just strolled with pointy ear of Dark Elves, they would immediately report it?! The Knights troops of human would hunt you to death! That was reckless!"

"Oh, right! I almost forgot that even I heard that before from Amdarais!"

I sighed for a while then sit on chair nearest me.

This surprise suddenly makes me headache.

The moment I rest for a while to grasp this occasion, somebody knocked my room door.

"Brother, what's wrong? Is everything alright?"

"Brother are you alright…?"

Serena and Citra knocked my door while calling me with panicked tones.

I immediately stood up, rushed toward bed to push Raenisa lying on bed then covering her with my blanket.

"Kyaa-"

"Don't' speak or make any noise until I open back this blanket, okay?"

I speak hurriedly then run toward the door.

I just opened it half so Serena and Citra don't come in.

"Hey… what's wrong?"

"Brother… it is our question. You screamed back then as we think there's something dangerous."

"Yes, brother…. Is there anything we can help?"

I patted both my sisters and smile widely since their faces seems pale because of worries.

"N-no no no no…. Don't worry about it. I just, well, stumbled from my bed carelessly. It's hurt, but I'm okay now. It just… you know…. Surprised…. "

"Reaally…?"

Citra seems suspicious.

"Yes, yes! Look at me! Still strong enough! Nothing to worries!"

I am flexing my bicep and triceps even though it's not that muscular.

"Hahaha… you're so funny, brother."

Serena chuckled.

Hearing Serena and me laughed, thankfully, Citra's not longer thinking too much about it.

"We'll prepare breakfast for you, brother. Come down if you finished clean your bed."

Serena said casually while back to the kitchen.

"Okie dokie, thanks Serena. Citra, go help your sister, okay?"

I asked Citra while patting her.

She nodded then slowly left my room to follow Serena.

When I see both my sisters back to the first floor, I closed the door calmly without too much making noise.

Soon after that, I back to my bed and remove the blanket from Raenisa.

"Fiuh… that almost got me…"

I sighed while turn back to the chair to calm myself for a while.

"Is this safe now? I can wake up now, can I?"

Raenisa asked me while she still lying.

"Sure, sure, go ahead."

Raenisa immediately wakes up then sit on my bed.

"I hear a voice of woman. Who's them?"

"They are my sisters."

"Ah, I see. May I get to know them with-"

"No. Raenisa, this is not a right time to do that."

"But I'm your wife, correct? It's obvious I want to know your family."

"I hate to say this, but my sister, like most of human in this world, is scared with you Monsters."

"Are Monsters really that fearful among Human? That was surprising."

I sighed again when heard Raenisa statement.

I guess Raenisa seems astonished since she sealed for hundred years by Forbidden Ice Magic Seal without remembering that much about the constant invasion of Monsters to the Human World.

"Raenisa, don't be that dumb person. You're a good magician among the Dark Elves. Why you act like a brainless elf here? Aren't I had told you everything about the chaotic conflict of human and monsters?"

Amdarais also sighed, just like me.

"Hey, I still remember that Amdarais. It's just a little though because I believe this kind of situation is not holding my decision to be Rezvan's wife."

Raenisa answered with confident while Amdarais and me sighed once again.

"Oh, Lord…. What's wrong with these crazy asses Yinleth's woman?!"

Amdarais scratch his head out of his confusion.

"Anyway, whatever it is, you should go back to Monster world, Raenisa."

I said it firmly.

"B-but… I'm your wife and-"

"No, that's not the reason. As I and Amdarais said before, this place is dangerous for Dark Elf like you. Nobody think the same just as I do when they see a Monsters in front of them, so just go back and stay with Vaeral for a moment after I'm done with my business in here."

I intervene with lots of argument.

But Raenisa crossed both hands because she's not accepting it.

"I don't want to, and you can't force me."

Raenisa strive back even though Amdarais already created the Magical Gate for her.

"I hate to force, but I'm a magician. I could use this for your safety."

I said it with threatening tones while emerging my Soul's Spirit to my right palm, ready to strike her with Soul's Strike to force her back.

Raenisa aware of my Soul's Strike preparation.

She immediately stood from my bed with her hand emerging blue aura of her Soul's Spirit.

Few seconds we are staring each other intensely, I know it would be a clash of Magic Spell.

However, I'm confident on my casting spell speed.

Whatever Raenisa cast spell on me, I'll immediately pre-emptively strike her so she back to her world.

Raenisa tremble for a moment.

Even it's just a intense gaze from me, she admit she can't win on casting spell first.

Amdarais choose to silent since he also believes I'm capable for solve this kind of commotion from Raenisa.

"I understand, Rezvan. I know you're a strong Magician that I proudly choose you as my husband. It seems I could not win on this situation. However, I have something to offer."

Raenisa shows his blue pendant necklace that she wears.

I remember look that blue pendant when I tries to destroy the Hexta Temple with Great Fire Magic Spell.

I don't grasp any knowledge about the effect on blue pendant, but Amdarais stare intensely on it.

"It's the Blue Crystal of Sacrifice Pendant. It come from the Great Sage of Ice Master Spell, if I remember correctly. The sage's a genius pure magician that could formed magical gemstones into this special pendant."

Amdarais whispered at me.

"What's the effect of this pendant?"

"I asked curiously."

"The pendant could create a magical full armour and helmet set for enhancing the magical defence toward Ice Magic Spell. It certainly useful for facing Soliana later."

I nodded on amazement.

But I need to use it first for testing its capability.

The moment I want to grab the pendant, Raenisa hurriedly pulled it far from me.

"Hey, I thought you'll give to me?"

"I'll give it to you after I have your permission for me to staying here with you."

"Well, that's too hard for me to fulfil."

"Then, it's a no for me."

"Are you sure? Aren't we want to save your sister using that pendant?"

"Of course, but I'll stay firm on my decision on you. I use this before when Brother Vaeral and Sister Soliana casting the Forbidden Ice Magic Spell so I can be protected even I was the Offering. However, it's not good enough so I still being sealed. However, since the Forbidden Ice Magic Spell is halved now, I'm sure the pendant would be good for tackling Sister Soliana's rage."

I paused for a while hearing Raenisa insist on that random decision for choosing me as a husband.

That decision feels come out from nowhere on me.

I need to be cautious on this because it would be a hard consequence in the future.

"I should try it first before I know it is capable or not, Raenisa. How I could sure that's working? Our life is in stake here."

I argue calmly, which made Raenisa thinking for a moment.

Raenisa grasp the necklace and show the blue crystal pendant to me.

"You can feel the resonation if your grasp it firmly."

She said to me.

I just nodded then grasp the blue crystal pendant.

Few seconds later, My Soul's Spirit resonated with the blue crystal, creating a Blue Aura that formed into a blue knight full armour and helmet set that covering my entire body, feet, hand, and my head.

The unique equipment on the helmet that covering my entire face is shaped like a long nosed human with slanted eyes and slightly thin moustache.

If I concentrate more, I even could shape the mask that covering my face like a traditional wayang puppet that is well known in my country.

Surprisingly enough, this full armour is not like a metal or iron.

It formed from the Blue Aura of the pendant, just like a Magical Barrier but with more concrete form and specific magical defence for tackling Ice Elemental Spell.

As I look at my current status, using this pendant would raise my vitality to 37+15 and creating ice magical resistance to 50%.

Putting aside the effectiveness, I use the Secretive Ring to hide the appearance of the blue armour entirely and only revealing the mask part that entirely cover my face.

This would be a great idea for covering my identity in the middle of my battle later if there's some Knight participated.

With this, I'm sure I could perfecting my skill and my secret simultaneously.

Then suddenly all the blue armour gone because Raenisa pulled out the pendant from my grasp.

"I know you tempted over this, my dear."

Raenisa smiled confidently.

She had read my heart when I'm too excited over the effect of Blue Crystal Pendants.

"Don't do this, Daredevil. It's too damn risky."

Amdarais hate to throw the potential from the Blue Crystal Pendants, but he doesn't know how to ensuring Raenisa could live in this human world.

But the Blue Crystal Pendant seems very useful on the future battle.

It would be troublesome if I took it by force from Raenisa.

At this point, I choose face the risk since I know it would enhance my ability as a Magician.

"Okay…. You can stay in here, with my supervision, Raenisa."

I said it firmly.

"Thank you, honey…!"

Raenisa suddenly hugged me with relief smile, while at the same time, Amdarais frowned while looking at me.

I know it would be bothersome for hiding Raenisa from here on.

But at least, I had ideas on my mind for preparing on that.
