The ambulance arrived and took Tang Beibei and Song Zhou to the hospital.
Ruan Qi, who was covered in blood, stared blankly at the light outside the operating theater. She blinked and tears fell.
There was central air-conditioning in the hospital, so it wasn't that cold.
However, Ruan Qi was still shivering from the cold. Her teeth were chattering and she wasn't steady on her feet.
Ji Yi quickly held her up. "Miss Ruan, are you hurt?"
"No, I'm waiting for Song Zhou."
Ji Yi saw her abnormally flushed face and touched her forehead. She was burning up.
"Miss Ruan, you're sick."
"Hmm?"
Ruan Qi felt buzzing in her ears but she could not make out what Ji Yi said. She told him again that she was waiting for Song Zhou.
Ji Yi was worried that her brain would be damaged if her fever persisted. He quickly called a doctor to examine her, but she refused and struggled to push him away.
