Crippling The Bandit Leader.

Three months later.

Ikuya stood in front of what can be called as the entrance of a wasteland, with Fera who has reduced in size sitting on his shoulder.

A wave of ice auroras drifted, and Chu Yuechan silently appeared in front of Ikuya. Watching his calm indifference for her sudden appearance, a complicated expression flashed in her eyes.

In the past three months, Chu Yuechan had been following Ikuya and by this point, it was pretty obvious that he didn't have any sort of attraction towards her unlike all the so-called gentlemen she has seen so far.

In fact, she even doubts that Ikuya even acknowledges her existence as a woman.

Ikuya had asked her to follow him for six months and after that, he'll help her master with her cultivation problem. Ikuya didn't forget to make her write a promissory note. Ikuya only intended to keep her close to him, long enough for him to understand the mysterious Karmic Force. But of course, as someone who has always been the attention of male, Chu Yuechan misunderstood Ikuya's intention again.

She even shows direct disdain for him even though she knows that Ikuya is far stronger than her. Ikuya is really amazed by Chu Yuechan's unreasonable hate for men. For all he knows, it's not like anyone had raped her or her close ones.

Other than that, Ikuya noticed that Chu Yuechan seems to have a little inferiority complex towards him.

Since young, Chu Yuechan had the qualifications to reach the absolute top(in Blue Wind Empire), and no one of the same age was able to stand against her. She had not yet become middle-aged, but was already an Emperor Profound Realm expert. She basically spent most of her life being admired and looked up to. She was used to standing on heights where no one would even dream of, and mightily, pridefully, look down on others… But now,

In front of her stood a Youth who is only 16 years old, whose natural talent is nothing short of ungodly and unrivalled. The speed at which the youth breakthrough each levels was simply mind boggling.

" What is it?" Ikuya asked. During this past month, he'd already gotten used to her presence and also studies more about the mysterious Karmic Force on her.

" Why do you want to enter the Wasteland Of Death? There is nothing for you to gain here." Chu Yuechan said coldly.

" I thought I'd told you not to judge things by it's appearance. Since I'm here, I obviously have an objective. Since you're following me around, you'll obviously get some benefits." Ikuya said as he walked past Chu Yuechan and officially entered the Wasteland Of Death.

" I don't take orders from men!" Her cold voice fell, and Chu Yuechan was already afloat. In the blink of an eye, she had disappeared from the place.

Wasteland, a land that was left to grow wild. Here, the desolate sound of the wind held sinister, eerie hints. The continuous howls that came from profound beasts in the distance made one's heart palpitate. From afar, the entire wasteland was overrun with dry withered grass; rocks lined the rugged terrain, and the boundary could not be seen with just a look. The silhouettes of practitioners gathering into groups could be faintly seen.

Chu Yuechan, out of curiosity, had asked Ikuya as to why he always walks when he had the ability to fly. Ikuya simply answered "I'm training while walking as well.".

Ikuya had high gravity pressure acting on his body and even simply walking can be considered as training for him.

Chu Yuechan observed Ikuya and Ikuya is always training his body to the extremes, which cultivators rarely do. She simply couldn't understand why Ikuya was training his body like that.

After 4 hours.

In the outskirts of the core region of the Wasteland of Death, Ikuya was being surrounded by over a hundred of bandits who were looking at Ikuya with greed.

For a total of over 100 people, they all wore various different attire and looked brawny.

Or rather, it is more appropriate to say that, Ikuya had walked into some large base of a large group of bandits unknowingly while he was deep in thought.

A few bandits stepped up to Ikuya and stood a distance away from him. There were three high-level Spirit Profound Realm experts and many other Spirit Profound Realm experts and True Profound Realm experts among these bandits.

" Well well. A fat sheep has walked into the group of hungry wolves, eh..."

The bandit in the lead was a robust middle aged man with a scar on his face. He appeared to be extremely violent and wicked, and he smiled sinisterly towards Ikuya. He was emanating the aura of a half-step Earth Profound Realm expert and was the strongest here.

This person was obviously the leader of the bandits.

Observing Ikuya's appearance and his disposition, the leader of the bandits has already declared Ikuya as a 'fat sheep'. He was unable to sense Ikuya's cultivation and when he saw the silver pendant on Ikuya's chest, he thought that Ikuya was using an artifact to hide his cultivation level.

The leader of the bandits stood in front of Ikuya and then sized him up. He didn't see any storage ring on Ikuya, but was sure that Ikuya definitely had an enormous amount of wealth with him. It was sort of an instinct that the leader of the bandits developed over the years of his bandit experience.

" As much as I love to play around, today, I'm not in the mood. So I'll say this only once." Ikuya said in an indifferent tone as he continued, " Leave behind all your belongings and get lost."

" ..... "

The chattering group of bandits went silent when they heard Ikuya's words. Chu Yuechan who was high up in the sky with Fera was also stunned speechless by what Ikuya said.

To her, Ikuya seemed more bandit-like compared to the real bandits.

" Hahahaha!!!"

The leader of the bandits and all his subordinates started laughing out loud while pointing at Ikuya and mocking him.

" Sigh... Well, don't tell me I didn't warn you beforehand." Ikuya said indifferently as he suddenly appeared before the leader of the bandits.

When leader of the bandits came to his senses and saw Ikuya appearing before him and how he couldn't even see Ikuya's movement, the bandit leader's face went deathly pale.

*Swoosh!*

A wave of ear piercing howls of the wind set off ceaselessly continuous sounds of air exploding, and the sounds entered into the ears of everyone present.

*Bang!*

" Ah!" An enormous bang accompanied by a shrill cried practically sounded out at the same time.

"Boss!"

"Boss is injured?"

"How could this be possible!?"

The bandits were stunned when they saw their Leader's was sent flying by their prey, and only now did they jolt awake from their shock and exclaim out in surprise.

Their leader had a cultivation at the peak of the Spirit Profound Realm and already stood at the peak ranks within the Wasteland Of Death, but he was instead 'injured' and fell to the ground within a single move. This…this was simply an inconceivable matter!

Immediately, within the eyes of these bandits that lived a bloody life at the tip of their blade, that youth that stood there seemed to instantly transform from a little fat sheep into a cold-hearted expert, and it caused their hearts to palpitate in fear.

" No… No… No!!" The bandit leader successively spat out a few mouthfuls of blood, then his expression went gloomy, as if he'd realized something.

His eyes filled with hatred stared at Ikuya, " You… You crippled my cultivation, you actually crippled my cultivation… Fight to the death, I'll fight you to the death!" The bandit leader struggled to stand up, then staggered as he charged towards Ikuya.

" Boss!!" The bandits were shocked to the core. They had thought that the blue-eyed youth had only injured their leader. But never had they imagined that their leader's cultivation was crippled by the blue-eyed youth.

Ikuya slapped away the bandit leader, then looked at the sky briefly.

He could sense that something was observing him. Ikuya is a being who can sense even Karmic Force, so he is easily capable of detecting any prying eyes on him.

Ikuya had a pretty good guess of who/what it is that's spying on him.
