Adrian Al Ragnar

"Huff... Huff..." A beautiful woman gasped for air while having a tired smile on her face, she had long blonde hair and gray eyes.

"It's alive Your Highness." Picking the baby that the blonde lady had just given birth to, the midwife had a smile on her face as she looked at the child in her hands.

The midwife placed her hand above the baby's head before creating a blue colored magic circle. As clean water from the Magic Circle washed the baby's body, the midwife snapped her fingers making the water vanish into thin air.

"Congratulations Your Highness. It's a boy." Checking the child's gender, the midwife made a green Magic Circle appear before using a gentle breeze to dry the boy's body.

With her smile getting brighter after she heard her child was alive, the woman was glad that her child was alive.

"Here Your Highness." The midwife said before giving the woman some rejuvenation pills.

While the midwife waited for Aurora to regain her strength, she was trying to figure out why the baby had not yet cried.

Worried after seeing the baby had still not cried, the midwife said. "Your Highness, I'm sorry to say but it seems your child is unwell because in my experience babies are meant to cry after being born."

Bowing as she spoke, the midwife deeply hoped that Aurora wouldn't be broken by the information she just shared.

As the pill gradually took effect, Aurora's strength sat on the bed before softly saying. "Bring him."

Without the slightest trace of worry in her voice, Aurora believed that no matter what her child would be alright.

Gently placing the baby in Aurora's arms, the midwife was gladdened that Aurora was able to keep calm despite telling the latter that something could be wrong with her child.

"Don't worry, he will be alright." Patting her child's head, Aurora had a smile on her face and care in her eyes as she said. "He looks so cute."

As she unbuttoned her dress, the woman brought her breast towards her baby's lips.

....

"So fucking annoying." As he floated around a pitch-black space, Adrian grumbled while he wondered why he was still here even after entering the yellow portal.

[Ding!!]

"Huh?" Adrian stared at the transparent blue screen with a frown on his face. Looking at the notification for a while, Adrian decided to open it.

[Daily Quest:

[Reward: +5 EXP]

"Quest completed?" Puzzled, Adrian found it strange that a Quest had already been completed before he was able to see things.

"Ohh. So that's what happened." Nodding his head, it took some time but Adrian was finally able to understand what was happening.

In short, he had been reincarnated but why he didn't remember himself drinking milk or seeing the things around him was probably because he was still a newborn.

"Studies showed that it takes at most 20 minutes for a child to open his eyes, I wonder if it would be different in this world," Adrian said as a thought crossed his mind.

"If I'm already reincarnated, doesn't that mean my stats are now filled?" Slowly turning his head to look at the screen in front of him, a smile appeared on Adrian's face as he said. "Status."

Adrian was excited as he watched the blue screen slowly change in front of him.

"Even though my stats are still low I'm a Half-elf so that means I can at least use all my blessings," Adrian said before he continued. "Hopefully I'll be able to see in a few minutes."

"Ders sa nai mi."

"Latook ig na."

"Huh? Who the hell's talking?" Closing the screen in front of him, Adrian looked around the dark space to find the people who spoke.

"Oh..." Forced to close his eyes after his surroundings got bright, Adrian was barely able to see the face in front of him.

'I guess they may be my parents or relatives." Although he wasn't able to tell exactly how the person looked, Adrian was sure that it was the person who talked and he had been reborn.

After staring at the person's face for some time, Adrian was able to find out that the person was a woman because he felt two fleshy mounds brush against him.

'I guess my new life would be quite exciting.' Adrian thought as he slowly fell asleep.

....

Seated on a wooden bench, a beautiful Elven lady patted the head of her two-week-old child.

She had long blonde hair and mesmerizing grey eyes, she was beautiful enough to make all men bow to her.

But now, she had bitterness on her face as she said. "Too bad we would be parting soon."

Smiling as she looked at her sleeping child, Aurora felt sad about having to part with her child stroked his head, and said. "Your name would be Adrian."

Aurora turned to look at her servant before saying. "Tell the King of the Ragnar Kingdom that his name is Adrian."

"Why don't you take some time to think about it Lady Aurora, the king might not agree to such a demand." Respectfully bowing as she spoke, the 29-year-old-looking elf had respect radiating off her voice.

"Don't worry he would, it's not like he'd be bothered by the name of one of his many children." Smiling as she stared at the flora around them, Aurora knew that the King of Ragnar would never be too attached to any of his children.

"Yes Your Highness, I'll pass the information to the person who would be assigned to drop him at the Ragnar Kingdom." With her head bowed, the lady walked out of the garden.

Face palming after she was out of the garden, the lady sighed as she said. "I hope this child's ignorance doesn't ruin me someday."

The lady held her dress as she began walking towards the Knights' quarters.

....

"Celine," Aurora said as her voice traveled through the lush garden.

"Yes, Your Highness." Materializing out of thin air, a 15-year-old beauty draped in an all-black outfit was in front of Aurora.

She had long black her reminiscent of a starless night sky, beautiful purple eyes that glowed in a cold light, nice curves that were highlighted by the skin-tight black leather armor she wore, she was someone that the Beauty god must have dedicated hours to. She was the embodiment of perfection.

"I'll need you to do something for me," Aurora said as she stared at one of their shadow guards.

....

"So how are we gonna do it, boss?" An Elf with short black hair and yellow eyes adjusted the cigarette that sat on his lips as he said to the Half-elf beside him.

"It's simple, we attack whoever is sent to deliver him, our Princess doesn't need a Human for a husband." The green-haired Half-elf caressed a dagger in his hands as he spoke with narrowed eyes.

"But first, we wait." The Half-elf muttered as he stared at the wooden door.

Hearing a knock on the door, the green-haired Half-elf coldly said. "Come in."

Gently opening the door, the coldness on the Half-elf's face receded after he saw who it was.

"What do you want?" The Half-elf sheathed his dagger while staring at the 29-year-old woman in front of him.

"I have more information about the child." As she narrated all that Aurora had said to her, the lady had a frown on her face as she said. "She's annoying as fuck, right?"

Halfheartedly listening to what she was saying, the Half-elf's killing intent flared after she said the last sentence.

Choked by the deadly auras released by all guards present, the servant felt that her head could come off rolling at any moment.

"What'd you just say, Liz?" Standing in front of her, the Half-elf's dagger had magically appeared in his hands.

"No- Nothing. Please act like I said nothing, Theo." With fear gripping every fiber of her being, Liz disregarded their age gap as she sprawled on the floor begging Theo for her life.

"I'll forgive you 'cause you're my sister-in-law but don't you ever say such words about her Highness," Theo spoke coldly before making his dagger disappear.

"And get out of here." His voice was colder than before, Theo shit her a nasty glare as he decided to kill her if she said any more shit.

"Thank you." Getting on her feet, the lady ran out fearfully.

Not daring to question Theo about why he let her go, the Elf with short black hair said. "So when are going to do it?"

"We do it immediately when the child heads for the Ragnar Kingdom." As the clouds outside gradually darkened, Theo's voice was accompanied by the thunderclap that reverberated through the night sky.
