The Awakening

Hamano Kureno, a fresh graduate who has always been fascinated with making himself stronger since childhood. Due to his intense love for working out he neglected his studies, love life and his work. Because of his peculiar way of living he became grown up to be extremely introverted.

Despite being introverted he is always ends up getting into fights. Kureno's fighting has never actually been seen before, this is mostly because the people who initiated the fight will start to reason their way out once they notice the fully developed body of Kureno.

As Kureno makes his way back home one night he is suddenly by a blinding light with a silhouette of a man. The shadow then says "Rejoice! You have won a ticket back in time! Transport will begin shortly!". Right after hearing those uttered words Kureno passed out.

Welcomed by an unfamiliar ceiling Kureno then proceeds to look around the room. Noticing that there is no one he decided to walk around the room and start looking for clues as to what happened to him. Each and everything that he saw in that room are old and looked very used in a way. He tried pinching himself only to find out that he is not in a dream. The next thing he did was to walk out the door.

The outside can only be described as a rural farmland, Kureno thought to himself that he might actually been kidnapped and brought to the country side to be worked by his captors. He began to follow the only trail which he can find in the vicinity. Climbing the small hill the path leads to he began to see signs of civilization and other people. He began to notice that all around him there are only forests, farmland and a mountain in the distance.

Making his way to the village nearby, as he get nearer and nearer the village he noticed that everyone are all dressed in Yukatas and other traditional clothes. Though only arriving the village people started to gather around him as if he was some kind of celebrity, only then did he notice that he is still wearing a typical salary man outfit. Not knowing what to do an elderly man who looked in his late sixties approached and beckoned him to follow him.

After walking for a few minutes the old man stopped on the house right in the middle of the village and opened the door. The old man then say "You're probably wondering why everyone is looking at right?", Kureno only nodded in return. The old man continued "It is all because of the way you came here, none of us really know what happened but somebody saw you last night falling down from the heavens and continued to sleep as if it was completely comfortable.". The jaw of Kureno as he listened to the old man dropped so hard that he needed his hand to put it back.

Regaining a calm expression Kureno still bewildered with everything that is happening only then proceeded to ask "Sir can you atleast tell me where is the nearest train station back to the capital around here?", not knowing what the young man is talking about the old can only shake his head in disapproval. "Nii-san you are currently at the village of Avanthi. As far as I could remember the only way back to the capital is by riding a flying vessel from the harbor of Selrum north of this village." noticing that the village is of unfamiliar name he can only walk away and head into the forest with all his thoughts.
