Fatal Mistake

Amy has no idea how to feel about this. Tyler hasn't come back since and now the formerly obscured figure finally solidified to reveal someone far worse than Tyler. And she was just wandering around her room, unnoticed as the hallucination began haunting her like a ghost.

There was a sudden shout which made her splatter ink all over her paper. "Do you have any idea what you have done?!" Alabaster yells.

Amy froze in confusion by this sudden question and took off her headphones to confirm she wasn't crazy. "What did I do?" she asked lost as she cleaned up the mess she made.

"You don't know. Let me jog your memory."

Amy sees a memory of her reading Viola's letter. It seems that there is one paragraph she forgot writing about. Along with Viola writing about Rufus's strange and concerning behavior, she asks for advice and... Amy wrote down the solution...

to use the...

purification power

...on him.

Oh, goddamn it!

Seeing what she has done, she cowered in her seat in horror.

"Now do you see what happened?"

In one stupid, f**king letter, she told her the solution and created the worst possible scenario to ever happen since she transmigrated.

"The best we can assume from this is that she will see it as nonsense."

There is no way to prevent it either. The letter has reached its destination by now.

One of her biggest concerns is leaving Viola alone with Rufus. The reason that the original Rufus went after Violet is the relief he felt from her power though discarded her due to dissatisfaction. Putting Viola in danger is the one thing she cannot stand especially in a situation where she won't be expecting anything. She has put ideas in her head about Rufus being dangerous since childhood, but she probably sees that as speculation.

"Why are you telling me this now?!" she panicked.

"Because I was unaware of this myself. I just discovered it and put the pieces together."

She looked to Ramiro who has been by her side for some time. She wrote another hasty letter and checking it for mistakes thrice before tying it to his leg.

"Stay with Viola and do not let her out of your sights." she whispered to him and let the bird fly.

Violet's powers are the one thing that intrigued him and that led him to take her. Both hers and Viola's powers are far stronger than Violet's so for all she knows, he might develop feelings for her. But right now, she is useless and has no power in the academy. The anxiety is killing her.

"Tell me if you found the doctor yet." she was fuming.

"I got him." Alabaster suddenly answered.

"You did?" she said in disbelief.

"It took me a while but shortly after he was expelled from his job, I took the opportunity and now he's one of our people."

Amy sat back after putting aside her pen, feeling relief for the first time since she left the academy. "Oh, thank god! When is he coming?"

"Unless you can get him to teleport outside your mansion, I don't think it is a good idea to teleport him inside the house."

"True," she surmised. "But I haven't left the house since I got back. No one would let me out without a good reason."

"Any relatives you can stay with?"

"Where are you right now?"

"The both of us are in the city of Monica."

"Monica...Monica..." Amy murmured then snapped her fingers stirring Anna for a bit before going back to sleep. "What about Fiore? That is where my great-grandfather Ole lived."

"Fiore... yeah, that is a good place. You are also extremely close to your great-grandfather so it's perfect."

"The problem is getting my parents to send me there. They might not agree."

"With the right doctor, you will have an easier time dealing with the Temporal Disease and now that we got him, I could focus on the business."

"You sure he's trustworthy? I know you used the worm on him but that doesn't mean his character has changed. I trusted you completely because I know you don't have a terrible character just bad experience. As for him however, he is not like you."

Alabaster seems as wary as she is.

"Don't worry. I did an extensive search on him. He hasn't developed this disgusting fetish of his. Since he is loyal to you, he wouldn't dare do or think anything like that."

"Fine," she relented then grabbed another sheet of paper. "I'm gonna write to him and get my parents' permission. Father might agree but mother is harder to convince."

After writing it down, she headed down to her mother's room with a shawl and loosely braided hair. But before reaching towards the door, she suddenly collapsed and began squirming and groaning in pain.

The door opened to her mother, who turned white in the face and held onto Amy with a pained look in her face.

"My dear, what has happened to you? Quick! Get the Doctor!" she screamed while holding onto Amy.

Viola read her sister's letter. Despite knowing her sister left behind some details, she isn't worried. But is concerned with how much shorter her letters are getting. Both their parents did write that her condition isn't improving but they didn't say anything about it getting worse either but it seems that Amy's letters speak for themselves.

"I had had enough of Valerian." a voice outside the halls said.

How loud. She irritably thought.

"I know. He is quite cranky, isn't he? I do not know why."

Viola's expression darkened. His aura was quite dark although she cannot make out the reason. She wrote to her sister about this, and she replied to use her purification powers on him. Whether or not, she should take this seriously is not the issue, but she didn't really think Amy is of sound mind. This might work. It is able to remove any existing illness and even cure cancer. If she knows the cause, then this eerie aura can be purified. She has to make sure that she doesn't kill him though.
