The Stonehearted Knight

Heaven favors the strong and wealthy. Hex realized that the day he was thrown out of the cloister and into the slums. He vowed to become the baron and show what being strong meant. To forge his own destiny, Hex scavenged the mountains, braving the cold solitude with a smile. At last, one day, he gained his chance on the verge of life and death. Even then, society and Fate tried to interfere. Faced with death, his Will didn’t waver and he gritted through, forcing his Heart to awaken. The Stone Heart in his chest defied his destiny and helped him write his own. Emboldened by his Heart of Stone, he walked the path to his dreams. His dreams, however, threatened to put him in the middle of the crossfire between Powers that could destroy Earth and Sky. Hex couldn’t allow his dreams to shatter. So, he sought to destroy all those who threatened his dreams. Follow a young man on his quest to fulfill his dreams, even if it meant to destroy Heaven and Earth. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Finally, I have a discord. The King's move (4)

"A Knight with a complete rune circle?"

The Frost Dragon looked perplexed. Hex shrugged. He still remembered getting the circle. Wallen, the baron's most trusted aide, gifted Hex his understanding and affinity with the space element. As Hex traversed further on the Knight's path, he began to understand the value of gaining a complete circle.

The only downside to it was the rarity of space elements. Hex hadn't encountered any beast with spatial affinity. None of the shops he visited offered crystals with space elements either. Basically, he had a superior tool but lacked the means to put it to use.

Seeing Hex remaining silent, the Frost Dragon didn't press on. Her life slipped away. She was just happy her child stood a chance to survive. But her survival depended now on the survival of the young man before her.

"Things are going from bad to worse on the outside. This King sure has guts. We need to move fast if you wish to remain alive."
