just think," Eleanora spoke to Jackson, giving him a look, "that you and April should figure it out. Stephanie is nice, and pretty, and smart, but you and April are just-"

"I just think I didn't really ." Jackson interrupted, but there was a hint of amusement in his voice. The two of them make their way to the lobby for an announcement from Hunt.

"Well, I told you my opinion anyways. I've been told I'm a meddler, but I use my meddling for good, Jackson. You know this, I know this, knows this."

Jackson laughs, raising a brow as Eleanora sends him a grin. The two of them settle beside Cristina and Meredith as the other Attending's and Fellows arrive.

"You've been very feisty lately." Jackson tells Eleanora. Meredith snorts and Cristina shrugs, voicing her opinion boredly.

"It's probably the Sloan Spawn in her womb. Means it's gonna be like Mark."

"Lord help us." Meredith teased. Eleanora sent her a look before looking over at Cristina, shrugging.

"For someone who seems to dislike Mark, you surely like the spawn that he creates."

"It's because it's mixed with you." Cristina hits back, the group laughing a bit as Owen emerges from one of the offices

"Um....okays, folks. Let's just start." Owen makes his way to the stairs, the crowd quieting down to listen. Eleanora looks over towards Derek and Callie to see her husband leaning against the desk with an annoyed look on his face. She grins a bit, shaking her head before looking back at the Chief of Surgery.

"As many of you know, Seattle Grace-Mercy West has suffered a financial setback. The administration is working hard to keep the impact of that setback as small as possible. To that end, we're gonna have to initiate some cost-cutting measures. The Board has hired a Physician Advisor to help."

Eleanora scratches at her cheek as she looks down a bit, feeling some eyes move to her and the others who won the lawsuit.

Meredith speaks up from her seat beside Eleanora and Cristina, drawing some more attention.

"What's a Physician Advisor?"

"Well, she consults on maximizing efficiency, streamlining processes, assessing where we can trim our budgets."

"Who to fire and when to fire them?" Bailey speaks up. Eleanora smiles a bit, a few people laughing along. Owen sends the General Surgeon a look before clearing his throat and correcting her.

"She's here to and to . I was hoping to introduce her in person, but she seems to be late."

"On her first day?" Cristina asks, Eleanora eyeing her when she hears the tone in her voice. "Not very efficient."

The group laughs, Eleanora rolling her eyes and playfully smacking at Cristina's back.

"You can expect to see her in the halls, in your labs, in the OR."

"OR?" Eleanora asks, perking up with a frown. "She's going to be in OR, while I perform surgery on a patient, assessing me and my skills to see where she can make some financial cuts? Sounds like she's looking for who to fire."

Owen goes to open his mouth but Derek speaks up, following after his friend and protégée. "So we're gonna have an Accountant following us around in the OR's?"

"I don't like Accountants." Mark speaks up, pursing his lips and shaking his head. "People who enjoy that type of work terrify me."

"She's not an Accountant, she's a trained surgeon." Owen corrected Derek before looking at Eleanora. "And she is not telling us who to fire. No firing will be happening. Frankly, she is here to try to help us."

A few muffled conversations start, Owen sighing before nodding. "Thank you for your cooperation."

Amedeo-Sloan, Alana Cahill." Owen introduced the Physican Advisor to Eleanora, who was putting on her shoe covers for the OR. Her personalized scrub cap sat on her head, and Eleanora sent the woman a smile. "Dr. Amedeo-Sloan is our Neurosurgical Fellow."

"Lovely to meet you." Eleanora told the woman. She stood up again, putting her hand out. Cahill was quick in shaking it, sending the bubbly woman a smile.

"So, you work under Derek Shepherd, then?"

"We like to consider ourselves as a team now, rather than working under or over. But yes, he's my mentor." Eleanora corrected. She glanced over her shoulder at the clock before looking back at the two. "If you'll excuse me, I have a Chiari malformation surgery to get to. It was nice to meet you."

"Likewise. I hope to see you in Dr. Shepherds acoustic neuroma tomorrow?" Cahill speaks up. Eleanora furrowed her brows a bit.

"Dr. Shepherd is allowing you to be in the OR while he performs surgery on ?"

Owen shifts in his stance and scratches his neck awkwardly, inwardly cursing the Neuro Duo for being so......

"It's not so much as he's allowing me as to I'm doing it. I need to observe as many surgeries as possible from all departments. An acoustic neuroma is a good one to observe." Alana glances at Hunt. "We should keep moving. Good luck on your surgery, Dr. Amedeo-Sloan."

Cahill starts off, Owen sending Eleanora an apologetic look before chasing after the Physican Advisor. Eleanora narrows her eyes as the woman disappears, huffing under her breath.

"I don't like her."

few days later, all of the Attending's and Fellows are gathered in a conference room, Alana Cahill at the helm. Eleanora is sat between Mark and April, Derek on her husbands other side.
