was curled up on a chair by a nurses station, her lab coat draped over her like a blanket. Her neck was at an odd angle, and she was trapped between the worlds of almost asleep and too awake.

She snapped to attention when her pager buzzed, practically bolting up from the chair to grab it. She read over it and saw that it was an incoming trauma and didn't hesitate in bolting towards the ER.

She struggled to pull her lab coat on as she ran, her eyes full of fire. She felt people fall in stride with her and looked out of the corner of her eyes to see Cristina, Meredith, and Izzie.

The four women stayed silent, giving each other passive-aggressive looks before they slowly sped up. They quickly turned the corner and started full on running down the lobby. The four women froze after a moment though, noticing Derek and Rose enter the hospital and share a kiss.

Eleanora feels her face fall and she turns to look at Meredith, her eyes sad. "Mer..."

"She's wretched and mean." Cristina states, glaring at the woman. Her and Eleanora had been dealing with Meredith's '' situation in two different ways. Cristina went straight to just bad mouthing the woman while Eleanora held Meredith and made her food. They'd be eating leftovers for a very, long time at this rate.

"No, she's not." Meredith sighed, looking at the couple with sad eyes. Eleanora squeezed har arm comfortingly, turning her eyes back to the hall that led to the ER. She bit the inside of her cheek, itching to run and get to the bay first but still felt like she needed to comfort her friend.

"You know, I heard one of the nurses saying that they've only been on five dates." Izzie added, making Cristina snort.

"Yeah, because Derek she's wretched and mean."

"Nobody can compare to Meredith Grey." Eleanora confirmed, nodding her head. "Not even pretty Neuro Nurse."

They all felt a person walk up behind them, all turning their heads to see a confused George. He gasped at Izzie's hair. "What did you do to your hair?"

Eleanora made a quick decision, squeezing Meredith's arm one more time before bolting towards the ER, calling out towards her friends. "Comfort break is over, Competition is back on!"

The three women let out yells, chasing after their shorter friend. Cristina let out a noise, dodging nurses and other Doctors.

"Her legs are so small, how is she this fast?!"

As Eleanora rounds the corner right in front of the ER she passes Mark. The man is obviously just getting to work, still in his civilian clothes and with his and Eleanora's coffee in hand.

He raised a brow as she darts past him. "Morning, Nora."

Eleanora waves over her shoulder, eyes determined as she swings the doors of the ER open. "Hi Mark, bye Mark!"

Mark chuckles, but makes an annoyed noise when the three other female residents push past him and almost make him drop the coffees in hand. "Watch it!"

None of the women looked at him, just yelling "sorry" over their shoulders. Mark huffed, turning to continue towards the Attending's lounge. He looked down at the coffee he bought for Eleanora, thinking for a moment.

"I hate this stupid competition."

up and down as she waited for the ambulance to arrive, Eleanora turned her head to look at Alex and the small notebook he was reading through.

"Who's winning?" She asked, Alex scrunching up his nose as he finished the calculations in his mind.

"Uuuhh, right now? Yang and Ella are tied."

Cristina let out a 'whoop' and Eleanora high-fived herself. Izzie let out a gasp, tearing the book out of Alex's hand. The man looked at her, unimpressed, as she started her own calculations.

"Let me see that!" After a moment, she made another shocked noise, her eyes widening in disbelief. "What?! I'm 26 points behind? That's not possible, you need to count again!" Alex scoffed, walking off to stand on the other side of the bay.

Eleanora gave her a smile, shrugging. "Sorry Iz, it's just the game. And I win games. I'm a mastermind when it comes to planning success."

"What about all the surgeries?" Izzie asked, Cristina giving her a look.

"Only three points for watching, you gotta do."

The ambulance turned into the bay, Eleanora peeking up as she prepared to run as soon as it was stopped.

"I do!" Izzie argued, shoving the notebook in her pocket. "I can't make them let me do procedures!"

"You gotta ask." Meredith offered. Eleanora nodded in agreement, taking her eyes off of the ambulance to look at the blonde.

"Yeah! I ask Derek if I can do small procedures all the time, and Mark pretty much throws minor procedures and sutures my way."

Izzie made a face, looking at Eleanora with eyes that screamed 'you poor, naive child'. "That's because Sloan wants to fu-"

Suddenly, Cristina bolted to the ambulance, cackling as everyone else yelled and started to chase after her. "Mine!" Cristina yelled, taking the clipboard from the EMT. "What do we got?"

"Otis Sharon, 61-year-old male, found unconscious on the street corner with a swollen ankle." Cristina made a disappointed face and shoved the clipboard back towards the EMT, turning to wait by the bay doors again.

"Boring. Not it."

Eleanora elbowed her friend, giving her a look. "Not nice!" She then let her eyes dance over Otis, waiting for the EMT to continue with vitals.

"Initial B. P. Was 90 over palp. Vitals stable after a bolus of N. S."

Eleanora made a small face but tried to hide it. Yes, she was in the game to win it, but she couldn't just a patient if they weren't worth enough points. However, before she could offer her hand to get the clipboard, Izzie pushed her, Meredith, and Alex to the side, eyes wild.
