day was as stressful as Eleanora remembered. Izzie, George and her had all decided they'd give each other a couple hours to settle in before the next one came, and Eleanora had been the last one. That was probably a mistake.

Everyone else was tired and exhausted, and she was living in the attic. Now, she was a strong and independent woman, but when it came to physical strength, she sometimes struggled. Which led to George carrying the big stuff up the stairs into the attic as her, Izzie, and Meredith watched.

Eleanora winced as George struggled to carry the headboard for her new bed, biting at her fingernails. "Georgie, I can help."

He shook his head, breathing heavily. "N-no, I got this! It's just a-a headboard! I brought the rest of the bed up and your dresser! I will do this!" He yelled out.

Eleanora looked over at Meredith and Izzie, her eyes worried. Izzie shook her head and Meredith let out a small laugh.

"He's going to kill himself." Meredith stated, looking over. "And I am going to do nothing but laugh."

Izzie shook her head and focused on Eleanora, trying to soothe the younger girl. George's grunts and curses were just background noise at that point, Izzie laying a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"He won't kill himself. He can do this. Anyways, he practically forced you away and told you he would do it himself. It's sweet-" something in Izzie's eyes caused Eleanora to groan, "- even."

"No, no, it's not...I don't...George and I..." Eleanora rambled, struggling to find words to explain how it was not romantic, and George would never look at her in that way.

Meredith faces the two, raising a brow. "Eleanora has eyes for someone else. Or, at least, her pants do." Eleanora let out a gasp, Izzie spinning around faster then she ever had.

"Who?!"

Meredith smirked. "I'm just saying, Alex and her have gotten a little too cozy this past week or so." Eleanora felt her face heat up.

"No! We haven't!" She stammered out. She slowly deflated, her eyes softening. "Why would you say- did he... did Alex say something to you?"

Izzie looked at the girl sadly, shaking her head. "Ella, you don't want to go there. Not with a guy like Alex Karev. You need a nice guy, one who will settle down and not sleep with anything that has boobs and a heartbeat. Someone like George! Or even one of the nurses!"

The conversation was interrupted by a victorious yell from the attic, George popping out the door with a wild grin on his lips. "I did it! All the heavy things are up here! I am the man of this house!"

Eleanora clapped excitedly, Izzie following suit sarcastically. Meredith just rolled her eyes and turned on her heel, heading to go downstairs. "I'm going to head out, have a couple errands to run for myself. Don't break anything!"

George quickly ran down the attic stairs, smiling at the two women in front of him. Izzie cracked her neck and went to her room. "I'm organizing!"

Eleanora gave George a quick hug. "Thank you for helping, George. I'm going to go ahead and unpack. Just yell if you need anything, okay?"

She quickly pushed aside him and ran up the steps, shutting the door behind her.

George O'Malley stood in the middle of the hallway, looking between the directions the three women went. He let out a slightly annoyed huff  before raising his arms again, grinning.

"Man of the house!"

AC guys had already came and installed it the night before, leaving the attic less stuffy and hot, which Eleanora was grateful for.

It had been a couple hours, and her bed was put together along with her new nightstand. Now, she was just unpacking her clothes and little knickknacks and books.

She hummed, pulling out her framed pictures. She smiled softly, tracing the photographed faces of her family. In the photo, her family was on vacation in Italy. Her father had stretched his arm out as far as it could go and tried to capture everyone, but they were still squished together.

Her father had looked slightly confused, her mother staring at him with slight annoyance but still had love in her eyes. Squished behind them stood her older brother and his fiancé, grinning widely. On the other side of her father were her and her younger brother and sister. They were all smiling and tanned, and the picture made her feel warm inside.

Eleanora stood up from where she was on the floor and moved to her nightstand, setting the frame on it beside her alarm clock. She gave it on last look before looking at her bare bed, sighing.

She had a lot more to do to make this room feel like home. But she knew she could do it. She thought about the three people on the floors beneath her and felt a calm wash over her.

This was home now. Seattle was finally and officially,  home.
