Chapter - 15(Assault)

"Listen, you cultists! We only need that zombie," Caroline said, pointing towards the zombie.

"Huh! Me?" the zombie was stunned by her words. If he remembers, he hasn't offended them in any way.

"Yes, you!" Caroline affirmed.

"Listen, you cultist. I don't seek confrontation with you. We have another mission," she said, turning towards the zombie.

"But if you want to interfere with our mission, I am ready," Linda declared as a powerful energy erupted from her body. Then, a magical 'Spiritbound Necklace' shone on her neck, concealed under her clothes. It was the only 'A' grade artifact she owned, featuring an endless supply of spiritual energy to its owner. However, it had a limitation: the person wearing it would be easily exhausted by their strength when the artifact absorbed their spiritual energy.

'A' grade artifact! The shadowy figure exclaimed. His thoughts filled with remorse, its mission was to bring the stolen 'Facet' back to its master. However, facing a member of the Punisher with a grade 'A' artifact posed a certain danger. Even though he can engage in a fight, the woman in front of him possessed an 'A' grade artifact, unlike himself. Moreover, a Ghost Materializer is following her. Realizing that winning was impossible without assistance, he turned towards the zombie. Then, without thinking much he blended into the shadows.

"Get ready!" Caroline commanded. "You two, attack the zombie. I'm going after that shadow."

"Roger!" Linda and Leo nodded and ran towards the zombie.

Caroline soared into the sky, the shadow signaling its readiness for battle. Recognizing its formidable strength, she decided to engage in a duel herself.

"How troublesome!" cursed the Zombie inwardly. He had been peacefully begging in this place when he got inexplicably pulled into the shadow domain. Now, the Punisher was after him. Despite disguising himself as the perfect beggar, the shadowy still discovered him. He cursed his lack of any artifact, resenting the people who increased the prices of artifacts. Damn richest! Why don't they just lower the rate for the artifact?" the poor zombie lamented in his misfortune.

I already told the shadowy that I lost the 'Facet' but he still didn't believe me. Now, I have been involved with these Punishers.

Being annoyed, he drew his sharp claws. Zombies were the creatures of the darkness from the abyss. Zombies' unique traits were their claws and the ability to transform any creature into a zombie was unbelievable. But he also has another ability, regeneration, he got it from his Lord.

"I'm Gutsman. Is there a misunderstanding here? I haven't harmed any humans for years. If you back off now, I won't care about the offense," the zombie explained, attempting to clear the misunderstanding.

Gutsman was also afraid, confronting a Ghost Materializer and a Witch Materialization head on, was foolishness. If possible, he wanted them to lower their guard before attacking, or if not, he simply aimed to retreat.

Leo nodded and halted his steps, yes! There is a big misunderstanding!

So, should I go then? Zombie said in speculation and withdrew his claws. He still didn't believe that he could go easily from here. He was still uncertain why they pursued him, he remained wary, desiring nothing more than to escape. There was a Mid Level Materialization and a Low Level Materialization in front of him and  another two were fighting in the sky.

Leo can see clearly that the energy Gutsman was emitting was clearly around Fifth Form, Synthesis. As a Ghost Materializer at the same level, together with Witch at the Fourth Form Of Materialization. He will be a fool to let him run. .

"Of course, you can go!" Leo chuckled, "Go to hell!" Then, he vanished from his spot and appeared behind the Gutsman, catching him off guard Leo punched him in his stomach. Leo's hand was emitting white fog, Gutsman gets smacked into the wall. It was so fast that Linda felt unreal.

Leo returned to Linda, holding something in his hand. "Take it!" he said, passing it to Linda. She caught a droplet of blood in her hand, still in liquid crystal form, as Leo had covered it with his Materializer energy.

Linda took the droplet of blood, a brush appeared on her hand and she started using runic incantation. She channeled her Materializer energy as she drew runes inside the droplet of blood.

"Damn it!" Gutsman cursed, slowly rising from the floor. His skinny, bloodied figure began to heal, and gradually, all his injuries vanished, leaving him in a clean state. Only a bit of dirt can be seen on his clothes. Then, he saw the witch doing something with his blood. He thought she was probably using a curse on him.

"I am a leader of the zombie race. I am also a subordinate of Lord Dracula," he said angrily. "If I die here, it will spark a war between humans and zombies with vampires." He thought scaring them with his identity would instill inside them, but not. They weren't even listening to his words.

When Gutsman, zombie ran from the abyss, he took his clansman with him. Together, they reached the vampire's county. Gutsman utilized his ability to create zombies on the vampire, but he was ultimately defeated by the Vampire Lord, Dracula. Consequently, he became Dracula's subordinate.

He uses his abilities of creating zombies on vampire. However he was beaten by the Vampire Lord, Dracula. And he became his subordinate. Seeing his abilities to create zombies, Vampire Lord Dracula bestowed Gutsman, his blood and make him a vampire zombie with regeneration abilities

Leo ignored his nonsense. Zombies were the filthiest creatures. Headquarters had issued an order: some zombies ran from the abyss, if you encounter any zombies, send them their home – and that's hell. Another name for the abyss was hell.

How much time? he asked Linda.

Wait, I am only half done. Linda stood behind him, focused eyes, holding a brush. She channeled her Materializer energy into brush writing runes with it. The runes entered the blood and it emitted a dark energy. The blood slowly dissipated as the curse took its effect.
