Problems

"Trust me, he'll succeed," Andrey smirked and moved the mobster aside, ushering me into another tunnel. Towards the end of this long corridor, there was a sort of hall. A huge hall, with lots of lights and thousands of people dancing.

"Ah, the same old story," the woman said, advancing first. I began to walk towards that door, and the music grew louder and louder until I arrived and saw a huge room filled with lights from every direction. The hall was immense, with strippers, three bar rooms, and seating areas. These areas had reddish armchairs and a table that seemed fit for a Christmas feast. My eyes noticed a lot of shady-looking people, but my gaze stopped at an animal.

"That's not a fox," I said aloud, but in that chaos, no one could hear me. That was an animal. A four-tailed fox carrying glasses to the different seating areas.

"What's going on here?" I thought.

Andrey immediately grabbed me by the neck and made me walk along the edge of the room. We arrived in front of one of the three bars. The bar was full of spirits illuminated by various LEDs that changed color to the music, and then there were those stools made of some kind of animal skin. My eyes landed on a person talking to the bartender.

"A bald black man with sunglasses and dressed entirely in white was buying weed or marijuana."

"Zuberi, where's Clifford?" Andrey asked.

"Hey, cool it, big guy. You don't call the shots here. You still owe Clifford, so... he'll be the one to look for you when he sees fit," Zuberi replied. Immediately, I realized that Andrey and the woman were definitely in serious trouble.

"Hey, who's that kid?" Zuberi lowered his sunglasses and then looked me up and down.

"It's none of your business," the woman replied.

Amused by the situation, Zuberi ordered a drink from the bartender, then got up. Andrey remained silent, as did the woman beside me. The man who seemed like just one of many crooks a moment ago appeared to be extremely powerful because after the woman's response,

"What did you say, Allison?" he poured the drink over her head, and she couldn't do anything but accept what was happening before my eyes.

"Enough, please," Andrey said.
