Inside an underground basement in Crystal City, there was a group of people with distressed expressions on their faces. Each and every one of them looked haggard, as they were all filled with a lot of stress.
They were the officials that were in charge of Crystal City. The governor, his assistant, and some of the top tycoons that were present in Crystal City and had managed to hide there, were all present.
"Governor, have you contacted the military to come over and rescue us? When are they going to arrive?" One of the people present asked. He was actually the richest man present in Crystal City.
"You have to be patient. I have already been informed that the catastrophe hasn't struck just our crystal city, but the whole country, in fact, the whole continent has suffered. So, you will have to know that we are not the only people that need to be rescued." The governor, who was a middle-aged man with a bald head replied.
