Concubine Hua II

"Who's this." Concubine Hua asked as she stared at Chen Xi from top to bottom.

"A random poor girl who dares to get in your way." the driver said.

"A poor girl?" Concubine Hua scoffed.

"Yes." the driver said.

"How can you judge me like that, do you really know who I am?' Chen Xi said back.

"Grab her." Concubine Hua said to the driver and the soldiers behind her.

Chen Xi didn't realize that soldiers had come to the scene. The guards and her driver ran at Chen Xi trying to capture her. Knowing some martial arts, Chen Xi tried to fight back but there was no use as she was captured and brought to her knees in front of Concubine Hua.

"How dare you lowly servant try to oppose me!" Concubine Hua yelled as she raised her wip and smacked it on Chen Xi.

"It's a pity, that you have a face like that?' Concubine Hua said as she held Chen Xi's face.

"Ruin it, I dare you. Let's see how you'll face the consequences." Chen Xi smiled at Concubine Hua.

Concubine Hua raised the whip again and smacked it on Chen Xi causing Chen Xi to puke blood out.

"You started it." Chen Xi said as she blew a whistle.

Soon an falcon hovered above Chen Xi and dived straight for Concubine Hua.

Concubine Hua screamed as the falcon bit her clothes.

"Release her, release her." Concubine Hua screamed as she tried to get the falcon to fly away.

The guards released Chen Xi and Chen Xi said: "Next time it won't be just the clothes."

The falcon flew over to Chen Xi and landed on shoulder.

"You shouldn't mess with me, do you even know who I am?" Chen Xi snickered.

"Just wait! I will tell the Emperor!" Concubine Hua yelled.

"I'm looking forward to it." Chen Xi said as she smiled and walked away.

Chen Xi walked back to the palace and Lan'er was outside waiting for her.

"Princess!" Lan'er yelled as she ran towards Chen Xi.

"You're hurt. AGAIN!" Lan'er continued.

"I have Momo, everything is fine."

"Didn't I tell you not to get hurt or do anything stupid."

"I didn't." Chen Xi answered.

"What are you talking about? Look at all of this blood."

"The wounds have opened again, just get the medicine and help me apply it." Chen Xi said as she and Lan'er walked back to the Peony Palace.

After Lan'er helped Chen Xi apply the medicine, Chen Xi fed Momo, the falcon.

"Without Momo, would you have survived?"

"I will, I'm not that easy to be bullied."

"Says the one who bled."

Chen Xi laughed and said: "Don't tell Second Brother. Don't even send a letter."

"No. I promised him."

"Are you disobeying my orders?"

"Yes."

"Lan'er." Chen Xi said softly.

"Yes?'

"I'll send a letter to the family, you don't have to. I'm afraid that Second Brother will tell Father and he will come here. The death…" Chen Xi said.

"Princess… I'll listen to you." Lan'er said as she grabbed Chen Xi's hands.

"Thank you." Chen Xi said smiling.

Just then, a eunuch yelled outside of the door: "Consort Xi, the Emperor is calling for you."

"Give me a minute!" Chen Xi said as she opened the door.

"Lan'er watch over Momo. I'll be back soon." Chen Xi said to Lan'er.

Lan'er nodded her head and Chen Xi followed the eunuch.
