One evening, as the family gathered for their vegetable stew, Lucian finally decided to voice his thoughts. "Mom, Dad, there's something I've been missing."

Alden looked up from his bowl, curiosity sparking in his eyes. "What is it, Lucian?"

Lucian took a deep breath. "I miss eating meat. We've been on vegetables for as long as I can remember. I think it's time we had a change."

Elara, always the nurturing one, gave him a sympathetic smile. "I understand, dear. But your father doesn't know how to hunt, and meat has been hard to come by."

Kael, ever eager, piped up, "Can we really get some meat, Little brother? That would be amazing!"

Determination gleamed in Lucian's eyes. "Yes, brother. I think it's time I went out and found some. I've been reading about the creatures in Shadevale Forest, and I believe I can bring something back."

Alden nodded thoughtfully. "If you think you're up for it, son, then go ahead. Just be cautious out there."

The next morning, with the sun cresting over the horizon, Lucian set out with a determined stride. "I will find meat today," he vowed to himself, "whether it's pork, beef, or even goblin meat. It doesn't matter, as long as it's tasty."

His path led him through the fields near Shadevale Forest, where the gentle blue slimes grazed peacefully, adding an air of serenity to the landscape. But Lucian's sights were set deeper into the forest, where mystery and adventure awaited.

Shadevale Forest sprawled before him, its ancient trees towering overhead and whispers of unseen creatures echoing through the air. Lucian ventured deeper, his senses attuned to every rustle and snap of twigs underfoot. He passed by massive creatures resembling wild boars, their tusks gleaming menacingly in the dappled sunlight. They were tempting targets, but their size posed a challenge for bringing back to Pinevale.

Instead, Lucian focused on a more agile quarry: the elusive white-horned rabbits known as Theafansy. These creatures were known for their speed and nimbleness, their distinctive horns a mark of their swift grace. Lucian tracked them through the underbrush, careful not to startle them. With a burst of magical finesse, he managed to ensnare two of the rabbits, their white horns gleaming in his grasp.

Triumphant, Lucian made his way back to Pinevale, the weight of his success buoying his steps. The journey home was filled with anticipation, thoughts of the forthcoming meal urging him onward. As he approached his family's cottage, the familiar sight of his loved ones waiting for him warmed his heart.

Kael, practicing fire spells in the yard, looked up eagerly. "Brother! Did you catch something?"

Lucian nodded, proudly displaying the Theafansy rabbits. "Yes, brother. We're having meat tonight."

Elara emerged from the house, surprise and delight lighting up her face. "Dear, you caught these yourself? They're beautiful!"

Alden and Nora joined them, admiration in their eyes as they examined the rabbits. Alden patted Lucian on the shoulder. "Well done, son. I'm looking forward to tasting them."

Nora chimed in eagerly, "Count me in too, Lucian. I want to join your meat quest!"

Lucian grinned and nodded, "Alright, alright. Tomorrow it is then!"

After their hearty meal, Elara and Alden retired to their room. Meanwhile, Nora, Karl, and Lucian gathered in their backyard camp, beneath the tranquil night sky. They lay together, the soft glow of a nearby lantern casting gentle shadows as they opened up about their dreams.
