First mission

Sej went in search of the registration office and quickly found the office. It was not hard as it was near the residences and had had a large sign plastered at the front. Quickly proceeding to the till which was manned by a pretty lady with black hair and pale skin who was currently reading a parchment, he spoke: "Hello I am here to register." The lady looked up from her parchment and asked, "Are you from the Apail family or Ashfall sect?".

"Apail family." Briefly, disgust flashed through the lady's eyes before she calmed down. She handed a book, titled 'sect rules', a copper and white robe, a badge and small bag Sej before saying "your designated resources from Ashfall sect are here, as an in name outer court disciple of Ashfall sect, you are obligated to finish four missions per month. The mission hall is right next to this building, please visit it quickly. Finally, the resources the Apail family will send you, they can be collected from their store called 'Heavenly pills pavilion' in the middle of the month, which is next week." The woman proceeds to lower her head and ignore Sej. Sej thanks the woman before proceeding to the mission hall.

The mission hall was a large building filled with notice boards everywhere that had requests from the sect, other disciples and elders to complete. They had a large range of missions, including, topics such as formations, artefact refining, pill making, and fighting. Sej went to the location designed for stage one cultivators like him to complete. Taking a look at the boards, most of the missions included menial tasks as the strength of stage one cultivators were low. They also could not refine out essence energy so they could not participate in pill making, artefact refining and formations. The job mainly included cooking and cleaning the sect areas or being assistant in shops owned by the sect or other businesses who requested the sect's help. Missions that take up lots of time like being an assistant count as continuing missions. These missions count as completed when one spends at least 5 hours a day for a week to do the job. There were assistant jobs for pill making, artefact refining and formations in which you were required to help with small tasks and learning about these jobs. Other than that, there was a hunting mission led by essence gathering experts for training purposes,

As Sej had no fighting experience and was currently very weak, he excluded those. Instead, Sej was interested in formations. The mission board had a description of what formations were and he found it quite interesting. The assignment was as such 'Help formation Apprentice Elliott Scape to set up a grade 1 spiritual energy gathering array'. As for the descriptions of formations. It stated, 'formations are a way to peer into the Heavenly Dao and manipulate it to your will to make any situation more desirable.' Sej thought that it sounded cool and powerful, so he wanted to attempt to learn this. Sej took the mission and reported accepting it to the mission accepting counters/ he was given a token and was told to report to Elliott's residences. He was given a map and directions to make sure he did not lose his way. Sej quickly made his way over.

Meanwhile, on a much larger planet called Septon, the main headquarters of the Apail family resided. In a meeting hall for the Apail family elders, at the centre sat a muscular man with a short grey beard. His aura was dignified and noble. He was s the current patriarch of the Apail family. On both sides of him sat many old men in a heated argument about the future and fate of the Apail family. The discussion Finally turned to Sej.
