Cara Vs Sej

As Henry and Sam were receiving their fight. Sej and Cara made their way to the fighting zone. The wind was lightly blowing and the sky was still bright. The sun in the sky was shining down on them as if to bear witness to this fight.

Both combatants were using branches for swords again. They were slightly carved but were not sharp at all. This battle was purely close range so they were only about 5 meters away from each other at the start.

"Good luck Cara" Sej spoke slightly sarcastically as it was only a formality. He was actually hoping she had some bad luck so he can win this easier.

Cara just snorted in response and got angry. Watch how I teach you a lesson. Cara needed someone to vent out her frustration. Sej was the person she chose. As for what she was frustrated about. That was a long list. First was the fact that when she dodged the horned leopard, Henry almost died. She blamed herself for that.

Next was the fact that she was soaked in blood. No girl would ever like to be soaked in blood, especially after having killed a monster beast for the first time. The third was the fact that she vomited in front of her friends and Sej even had to hold her hair back. She was grateful but frustrated. And finally about the fact that she was later incapacitated and needed help when the second horned leopard arrived.

As a result, she felt helpless and useless. Even if no one else saw it that way and in fact, Sej and the others saw it the opposite way, as she was very good in the initial fight, she still felt helpless herself.

Unfortunately for Sej, that frustration was about to be unleashed in full on his little body. As for his sarcastic comment, it only served to add fuel to the already raging fire.

From the side can Sam's voice " let the battle commence."

Cara ran straight at Sej and swung her sword down from above with all her strength. Sej moves to block the blow with his sword.

Boom.

Forced back 5 steps from the collision Sej took a look at Cara and saw that she was perfectly fine and already on her way to attack again. He thought to himself that the distance between each realm in the body regiment stage was quite large before retreating. It was worth noting that the wood that the group used was the dark wood from the forest, so it would not break easily.

As Cara approached, Sej knew that he could not fight based on strength and decided to dodge where he could. Cara slashed at Sej from the right, aiming right for his waste. Sej retreated to the left to dodge the blow but Cara would not allow that to happen and kicked out with her left leg hitting him right in the chest.

With pain shooting through his body, Sej slid across the ground and came to a stop an 8 meters away. Taking a long look at his opponent and seeing her enjoy beating down on him, he mocked. " so you're a feisty girl, watch out, or you might not get a boyfriend if you are always like this," clearly, Sej did not know what was good for him.

Absolutely infuriated, Cara began a rampage against Sej. Cara charged him like a bull as she smashed down with her sword again and again, left, right, up, down. Sej was blocking and jumping all over the place. Cara then got a lucky hit on his left arms' inside the elbow area. It led to a large opening in Sej's left flank. Taking the opportunity, she flicked her wrist causing the sword to accelerate and smacked the left side of Sej's face. As the force was lighter due to the wrist flick substituting strength for speed, Sej was only knocked down on his knees but he had a large red mark across the left side of his face.

Cara took a step back and mocked. " Come on Sej, that's all you got. Good luck finding a girlfriend when you are so weak. You're not manly at all." Sej thought that Cara was quite a vengeful person. Slowly getting up Sej decided to take the risk of using his skill.

All skills, no matter what grade was divided into 2 sections. One section was a fighting method in which it comprised many moves that could be used in long drawn out fights to handle situations. The second section would be the ultimate move of the skill, these moves are not often used and they could easily exhaust the user and incapacitate them. These moves are very powerful and can change the course of battles. The name of the ultimate moves is what the skills come to be known as. Therefore the ultimate move of the skill 'waterfall' is called 'waterfall'.

'Waterfall' was a basic sword skill. It would fall under the calcification of stage 1 sword skill called elementary sword skills. It had a total of six moves that were used for attack and defence. Sej was not very proficient in using this sword skill.

As Cara once again approached him for another round of battle, Sej tried to apply the methods in 'Waterfall' to fight her. Taking the initiative to stab at her this time, he struck towards her right shoulder. Cara dodged to the left and struck at his sword holding his arm. Prepared for this Sej, changed his stab to a smash and hit Cara right leg, causing her to stumble forward.

The techniques mentioned in the skill were quite effective, Sej thought to himself while striking again with a second slash to her waste. Cara parries the blow and smacks Sej right in the stomach. So not so effective Sej revises his previous thought.

The battle progressed as Cara, stabbed, cut, slashed, smacked, and prodded him like he was a dummy. It was Sej's personal hell. Even as he got more proficient in his skill, Cara started to copy him and add some of her own self created style to the technique. As she had no reference, it was easier to act more unrestrained. Of course, that did not mean her technique was better, it just meant she could adapt more. As for the flaws she created by messing with the technique, Sej was not skilled enough to notice and was continually abused.

As the battle continued, they both became more skilled and the battle became more civilised but Cara held the advantage. Left with no choice, Sej used the ultimate move of his technique. As he lifted his sword above his head, the aura he gave off kept increasing. His momentum prevented Cara from taking a step forward while the wind around him started blowing. He lunged forward to stab at her.

Smack

Bang, Sej fell to the ground. He was not proficient enough with the skill and it backfires on him. He ended up pulling his thigh muscle when lunging.

Cara put him to the ground again with a face smack to the right side of his face. He now looked symmetrical again.

The battle was over. Cara approached Sej and Stretched out her hand for Sej to take before lifting him to his feet. "That was a battle skill was it not? Where did you get that?" She was curious about the battle skill and hoped that she could get one of her own.

Sej did not want to lie to her but did not know what to say. He was their leader now, that changed things as it meant that they put their trust in him. On top of going through a life and death battle with each other, Sej wanted to tell her. This matter was linked to the nurturing of the Apail family clan though and therefore linked to his title of destiny child. no matter what, this was very important so he struggled. Eventually, he just asked her " do you trust me?" When she nodded yes he spoke " then it is best that you don't know this information for now. I can, however, let you train in this skill. It is very suitable for you.

The skill was of the water attribute which meant that it was good at defence and slightly more inclined to the female gender. A woman is of the yin attribute which shares similarities to water making the technique easier to learn.

Cara was still curious about this and also thought about Sej having two grade one artefacts. She figured out that Sej had a secret but was just not willing to tell them yet. Honestly, although she was depressed about it, she understood that he was just not ready yet. After all, everyone had some secrets. Sam and Henry had their little shared secret about why they disliked each other.

She herself also had her own little secret, that she was not willing to let others know yet. If she could not come to say hers, she could not force another to tell his secret either.
