"Cale and…. Lucy" Luciel said suprised as he saw these two standing infront of his door "What are you two doing together?" he asked

It was weird to see these two together since they didn't have any contact between each other

Cale was the first to answer "she was standing before your door before I came here" he said

these two were standing in before the door in the middle ground were all with a rank could meet each other

"I see" Luciel and and let them both in

Cale and Lucy went both inside cale sat down at the couch while Lucy only sat next to him with a big distance

For some reason this made Luciel feel good seeing that 'hah the handsome guy isn't so handsome anymore' he thought And sat down himself

"What is it" he asked cale first since he was sure that Lucy wanted to talk privately

"I just wanted to ask you how the febril tooth was that I gave you?" he asked pointing at the the tooth that was hanging around luciels neck

Luciel took it in his hands and inspected it

He also noticed Lucy showing some kind of interest as she looked at it

"It's good it amplified my ice magic by a lot" he said "you want it back or what?" he asked

He thought it was quite a shame to give it back but he had to

"Oh no no you can have it just I'll give you the real one when we get out of the game" he said while standing up

But as he stood at the doorway he looked back at me and looked at Lucy again "hmmm…."

"What?" Luciel asked a little annoyed for some reason

But on Cales face was a weird smile which made Luciel feel like he was being mocked "ohh it's nothing have fun you too" he said cheekily and left the room

"What was that all about?" Luciel asked looking back at Lucy

"And what do you need?" he asked already feeling tired of talking

Lucy looked at him and soon opened her mouth "… I wanted to employ you"

Luciel was baffled "….employ me?"

She only nodded her head

"What do you want me to do" he asked he didn't want to turn her down yet who knows maybe it was beneficial to him

As he thought about the kinds of rewards he started to smirk

Lucy though only looked at him a with the same indifferent look as always "my family will have an auction a few days after this whole test and I want you to come with me as my bodyguard"

"….. why me" he asked not understanding why she wanted him to be her bodyguard he wasn't as strong as other he was even weak one might say

"…. I feel comfortable around you" she said with her dark eyes looking at him as she stood up

Luciel was frozen in place and didn't know what to answer

As he was processing all of this Lucy was about to leave the room and left him with one last word "think about it" she said

Luciel now stood there alone confused and shocked at the same time

he didn't know why but for some reason his heart felt like it was about to melt

But was soon reminded that he has to go to ancel

"Sigh…. So many things to do" he said as he leaned back in his chair

Everyone in the base of class A was currently trying to figure out what to do so that they could win

Drake was currently trying to make a plan but with no information he had nothing to work with

"Argh… why is it so hard…." he said as looked over a map

Normally he was a genius when it came to the battlefield

Or that's what he thought he always got help from the people around him but now where he is completley alone he has to find an idea as to what to do

This only showed him that he was lacking

He looked back and saw satul coming inside with a huge grin on his face

"What are you grinning for" drake asked

"Ohh nothing I just made someone from class c our spy" satul said nonchalantly as if this was something typical

"What?" drake looked at him with some sort of hope for information but also caution

"Are you sure we can trust him?" he asked

"Yeah I'm sure I gave him something that he wanted" satul said his grin becoming a bit wider

"And what was that?" drake asked

[nathans POV]

I was still trying to search for Aigis it was a good item for magicians such as myself

It was actually just a wand in the game it made your own spells a lot more destructive but you could only use it five times

Which is also why I need it with this we could have an easier time winning

"Hic…. Sniff…. Sob sob Ahh mama" I heard a voice crying

I was pretty sure I knew this voice Which is why I was going in that direction

I didn't really have to butcher since I am inside of this game I want to do thinks that I wasn't able to do inside the game

As I heard the crying becoming louder and louder I finally saw the source of it

It was the same little girl from back then that got her arms Broken

She was crying while hugging her legs and hiding her face

I didn't really know what to do since Ive never had to deal with someone crying before

but as I looked at her hiding here in this place trying to not be seen from outsider and crying it reminded me of myself

From the time when I was just a kid

I didn't know how I should comfort her but I know what I wanted

I sat next to her and patted her head while not saying anything

This is something that I wanted back then not someone to talk to

But someone who was there for me

The girl looked up at me and was suprised to see me

No wonder she was suprised some stranger was patting her head but that's not the problem as it seems

She then wiped her tears off "mister…." she said weakily

"Hello there" i said

"What are you doing here?" she asked while acting as if she didn't cry earlier

"I am searching for a certain Annabelle" I said and as I said that she seemed to have a sad look on her face

"Then you are probably searching for mom" she said while Looking at the ground
