TYLER POV
After a few hours of sleep that day I got up and headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. We had another meeting with Ryan and his head warrior. We were going over tactics and I promised them again that I wasn't leaving until we were sure that the Rogue attacks were over. But I didn't know exactly how long I would be able to stay.
Tessa sounded weird on the phone this morning. Almost desperate. And she never sounds like that. But she accepted my alternative to have guards posted around the packhouse. That did sound like her. She would always accept an alternative instead of demanding that I come home and drop my responsibilities to someone else. She wasn't like that.
