Chapter: 22

Jasmine:

"Hey! Wake up!!" Holly screams on top of her lungs as she shakes me.

My eyes shoot open and I push her off me before she kills me; "what's wrong with you!" I scream in shock

"It's 7:45, we're gonna be late for school!" She screams as she dries her hair quickly

"Holy cow!" I say and jump of the bed and sprint into the bathroom.

After Brett left me for Lela, wait scratch that; after he abandoned me and left with Lela to do who knows what in the Janitor's closet, *shudders* I have totally screwed him. He really doesn't deserve my friendship or anyone else's become he's a total a$$

Like I said earlier, I'm not spoiling the younger generation so insert the swear word you want there. Cool?; cool.

Me and Holly walk into the usual crowded hallways and everyone looks bubbly and happy.

Eh?

Did I walk into the right school? Because on  Mondays, everyone looks half dead but today is a whole different story

"What's going on?" I lean in and whisper into Holly's ear and she looks as surprised as I do

"I don't know" she says confusedly and we stroll to our lockers. Ben walks over to us with a huge smile plastered on his face

Okay what is going on?!

"What is going with everyone today?" Holly asks Ben, as if she read my mind

"Our grade is to meet at the Dance hall because the principal wants to give a special announcement" he chirps excitedly

"Oh my Madison Ziegler!!" Holly screams and jumps on Ben.

Eh?

"Why are you guys so excited?!" I say and my head is just throbbing with confusion

"Whenever any grade is asked to meet at the Dance hall, it's always good news so this rarely happens" Holly says

"And there are even rumors that we're all going to Diversion park before spring break!" Ben continues

"Yay!!" Holly screams again

"Alright hol'up!" I scream in frustration and they stop jumping up and down and squealing like stupid highschool girls

"What is Diversion park?" I ask curiously

"It's only the best place in the entire town!. It's a theme park that has a water park, crazy rides and sells awesome stuff from Pizzas to candy apples and stuffed animals." Holly explained and I found my self swooning over the place already

"Wow this place looks awesome" I say excitedly

"Yeah it really is" ben says smiling

"But let's not get our hopes up" I say honestly

Disappoinment is not an option for me

"So let's get to the Dance hall and know what's up!" Holly says and we start walking until I feel a huge arm sling over my shoulder

I look up and find Brett smirking at me with Sebby and Jordan behind him. Ugh the stupid greek god faced idiot and his minions are here!

Way to ruin the moment

"Hey nerd" Brett says with the same smirk playing on his lips

"Hello" I say sarcastically. "Did you hear the news?, We're going to Diversion park?" He says smoothly

"Yea I think I got the gist" I say rolling my eyes and removing his hand from my shoulder and I see Ben smiling at my gesture from the corner of my eye

"Hey jas" Seb and Jordan chorus at the same time and I pull them in for a group hug

"I think we all should get to the dance hall now" Holly said out of the blue

"Right" I say letting go of Seb and Jordan then we walk into the dance hall.

We're all sitting down in the arrangement of Me beside Sebby, Holly with Jordan and Ben with Brett.

Perfect

"Can I have your attention students?"  our Principal (Mr chubby) but I later found out later that his real name is Mr Greene, says shushing all our whispers and the room instantly gets silent.

"As you know, there is a holiday in four days and the school board has decided to make this week a cultural week"

Seb intertwined our hands as the principal spoke and I smiled sweetly at his gesture

"Every grade has their own activities and they begin tomorrow till Thursday. Then by Friday, school will be closed; thank you all" He says and leaves the stage.

Everyone else gets up and picks of a sheet and leaves the dance hall too. I begin to read the paper and I can't help but smile

Monday: normal school

Tuesday: Diversion park outing

                 (Dress in summer clothes and bring towels)

Wednesday: central Mall outing

                       (Optional, bring money)

Thursday: Beach and Night party

                   (Bring costumes and towel)

Friday: school closed till 14th June 2019

"This is so exciting!" I say happily

"Tell me about it, I can't wait for tomorrow" Holly chirps excitedly

"Will you be my buddy for this week?" I ask Holly

"Is that really a question? Of course I'd be your buddy this week" she says smiling

"Yay" I say and we hug

"Holly, me and the guys want to go to a club after school, care to join?" A random guy shouts

"Um.. no thanks" She says scrunching up her nose and i let a sigh of relief.

The bell rings and everyone sighs frustratedly, remembering that the adventure starts tomorrow.

"We gotta head to class" I say and we walk back to our lockers to get books for history.

And the rest of the day is filled with awkward glances from Brett, winks from Seb, head cracking equations from math and cringes from Romeo and Juliet's stupidity in shakespeare.

Trust me, I may be a nerd but I hate math. And literature. And I wish I could make them disappear.

It's not as if I don't get A's in the subjects but they are just so annoying.

No offense to people who love the subjects above but my passion for those subjects are equal to the need of those single bananas in Mario Cart; apperantly non existent.
