Chapter 215: Memories
Carter spun Emily around and lifted her to fly her around the living room. Ariana ducked out of the way and shook her head, making her way through the house. She was busy gathering toys, clothes, and other odds and ends that did not belong in certain rooms. She was walking into the laundry room when suddenly, she was yanked back, and a pair of soft lips were pressed to her neck.
"You should relax. I got this." Carter took the basket from her. "Besides, you have a therapy video meeting to go to."
Ariana sighed and nodded, "You're right. Thank you."
She turned around to reach up on her toes and kiss him. Carter smiled and watched her leave, loading the laundry into the washing machine for her.
