Chapter 209: Solo Session Part 3

"Thank you for calling Improving Health. This is Karla Jones." Something about her voice was so calming.

"Hello, Karla. This is Carter Anderson." Carter cleared his throat and tapped his fingers along the top of his desk.

"Afternoon, Carter. How are you?"

"Could be better, to tell you the truth." Carter sighed and sat back in his leather chair, eliciting a loud squeal from it.

"Would you like to talk about it?"

"Yes, please." Carter peered at a family photo hanging on the wall across from him.

"I have time. I'm all ears, Carter."

He could hear her grabbing a pen from a container that he knew was on her desk. He could almost see it perfectly in his memory. He could hear the sound of her flipping open a folder and rifling through papers within it, recognizing it as his own.

"I'm ready when you are."

"Ariana wants to take a break from D/s." Carter ran a hand through his hair. It was quickly getting longer again, which he was thrilled about.

"And what were your thoughts on it?"
