Chapter 143: Poor Ms. Page
Carter opened his door and smiled at Ms. Page. "Sorry about that. I had to take an important call. Shall we proceed with your interview?"
"It's okay. I totally understand." Ms. Page waved him off as she watched him cross the room to sit back down at his desk.
"So, where were we?" Carter cleared his throat and picked up the papers again to look over the questions.
"You asked if I knew about the drama circulating around your company and I told you how I felt about it." Ms. Page licked her lips and focused on him.
"Right. I also see that you have many skills that will help you within this position, Ms. Page. Can you tell me what sets you apart from the rest?" Carter set the paperwork down and locked his gaze with hers.
