A lot to take in

I stood up, turned my face, and saw Alberta standing behind me. At first, I got scared, but when I saw Alberta smiling, I lowered my gaze and walked outside the room without saying anything. Alberta followed me outside the room. I looked around and saw that the other room's door was closed. I proceeded downstairs. When I was passing the hallway, I laid my eyes on the room where they kept Julia.

Julia is still sleeping. I stood there, simply gazing at her. In the meantime, Alberta took hold of my hand, and I looked up at her. Alberta is still smiling. “So, Jessica told you what has happened?” Alberta asked while making me sit on the chair where we were sitting an hour ago.
