-Prologue:

The Journey that Ended it All

A blurry memory of a companion. Adventures, travels to different places and corners of the world. All of that is slowly fading away, erasing every trace of its existence, which is somewhat sad. Their close relationship and joyful adventures couldn't last forever.

But how did it end? "Well, this is what happened."

A young man, bewildered after waking up in a new place, barely regained full consciousness. The first thing he thought was that the place he was in was very beautiful; he was mesmerized. But who could blame him? A relaxing breeze, incredible mountains surrounding the place, everything was so beautiful and perfect that it seemed as if it were from another world.

While admiring the beautiful landscape, he managed to see a figure in the distance. Although it was a bit disappointing that its face couldn't be observed.

To his surprise, the entity was battling with his companion, and without thinking twice, he went to help him. There were several clashes between the apparent god and him; their movements were very sophisticated, every movement of his sword was perfect, one could say he truly was a god. For a moment, he believed he could win, but he got overconfident, let his guard down, and without realizing it, left himself almost unconscious.

The last thing he saw was the tear-streaked face of his companion, accompanied by a phrase: "I know we will see each other again…"
