#08-Saving Theodore Cielo

There is one part where Sylver Cielo is traumatized and never allows his son to leave the mansion no matter what the reason.

Ruby remembers that she created that terrible tragedy just to make the second male lead in this world suffer even more and so that the female lead could heal the wounds in his heart and his fears. At this time, Ruby knew that the main story of the novel she was writing in the modern world had not yet happened. 

However, she remembered that the incident that happened to Theodore Cielo and Sylver Cielo happened before the main story started. Ruby knew that today was the day because she remembered writing an explanation of the terrible incident. The kidnapping and attempted murder of Theodore Cielo occurred after a meeting held by Sylver Cielo and Duke Alasdair!

"My help?" Richard frowned. "Wait, try to calm yourself first, Ruby. Has this man done something bad to you?" asked the man while glancing sharply at Sylver.

Ruby shook her head frantically. "No, I'm fine. He didn't do anything bad—"

"But, your neck is injured and bleeding."

Reynold's cold voice made Richard direct his eyes to his little sister's neck. Ruby growled in her heart. She forgot the fact that her neck was injured at the moment due to Sylver's sword. 

"Brother Richard, Brother Rey, please listen to me!" Ruby exclaimed. The woman's two older brothers decided to keep quiet and nodded. Whatever Ruby wants, of course, the two of them will do it. "Don't ask me how I found out but right now, Theodore Cielo is in danger!"

Reynold and Richard frowned and looked at each other. "The illegitimate child of Duke Sylver's Father?" Reynold asked to confirm.

Ruby nodded firmly. She looked at Richard. "Brother Richard, please teleport me to the Arvanez forest right now."

Richard blinked. "Huh?!"

"Ruby, that is a very dangerous forest and the forest that separates the Graziano empire and the Bliss empire," Reynold said in a low tone. "What do you want there?"

"I told you Theodore Cielo was in danger, Big Brother! I want to save him!"

"Wait a minute, Princess." Sylver Cielo closed his eyes and opened his palms in front of Ruby. He shook his head, not understanding whatever Ruby talked about just now. "My little brother didn't go to the Arvanez forest. He was going to the capital square to look for new clothes together with a maid and a nanny. I also ordered two knights to accompany them. So, it's impossible for them to be in the Arvanez forest."

"Red hair and green eyes."

Sylver froze.

"One of the knights has the characteristics I mentioned, right?" Ruby insisted. "He is a traitor, Duke! He will kill Theodore!" The woman looked at Richard. "Brother, if you don't teleport me right now, I won't talk to you anymore and will hate you!"

Richard blinked and groaned. He immediately said something and the magic circle appeared under Ruby, Reynold, and Sylver's feet.

"This will make you a little nauseous," Richard warned. "Because I use high level magic."

Ruby nodded and swallowed hard. Then, when she blinked, she was already in the forest. The woman felt like vomiting and covered her mouth with one hand. Her head felt dizzy and her body was shaking. Ruby almost fell but Sylver who was nearby immediately caught her body.

"Are you okay?"

Ruby nodded and pulled away from Sylver. She looked around and frowned when she saw a small bear-shaped doll that had fallen not far in front of her. The woman ran and took the doll.

"Is this Theodore's, Duke?" Ruby asked.

Sylver approached Ruby and his purple eyes widened. He grabbed the doll and the fear took over his body even more. The Duke looked around and started shouting Theodore's name. Likewise, Reynold and Richard realized that the situation they were currently facing was very serious. Ruby clenched her hands at her sides and tried to remember. 

The kidnapping of Theodore Cielo was never described by Ruby when she was still alive as Athanasia but the woman did explain it a little. The traitor works for Duke Eclair. He knew Theodore's true identity. This will make Duke Sylver's position a little difficult in the future because Duke Eclair always threatens him and blackmails him. Ruby raised her hand to her chin and tilted her head.

"Abandoned house," she muttered. Reynold, who heard that, raised an eyebrow. "Brother Rey, there should be an abandoned house around here. There, Theodore was held captive."

Hearing that, Sylver immediately ran to look for the abandoned house that Ruby was referring to. Reynold followed Sylver and Richard ran behind him. Ruby ran at the back because her stamina was not as strong as the three men in front of her. But, the woman stopped running. She frowned.

"He's not in the house," Ruby muttered again. Initially, Theodore was held there. But, the traitor decided to kill him because Theodore was always against him. He took the handsome boy to a river. There, Theodore meets the Female Lead who saves him. Ruby groaned and turned around. "I'm sorry, Female Lead. But, a child's safety is at stake here!"

After running quite a distance, Ruby tried to catch her breath. She smiled, looking at the river in front of her. Then, her smile immediately disappeared when she saw the traitor intending to throw Theodore who was struggling into the river.

"Hey!" Ruby shouted.

The traitor froze and turned his head. He stared wide-eyed when he saw Ruby running fast towards him while brandishing her heels in the air. Before running out of her room to meet Richard in Reynold's study, Ruby took the time to put on her favorite heels. Then, Ruby hit the man's body with the tip of her heel repeatedly until he let go of Theodore.

"How dare you kidnap and want to kill a child!" Ruby shouted. "I will torture you!"

Theodore immediately hid and cried. But, that amazed look was visible in his purple eyes.

"Argh! You, bitch! Where did you pop out from, huh?!" the traitor caught Ruby's hand and grinned. "I will kill you first!"

Ruby widened her eyes when she felt her stomach being hit by the man's fist, making her cough and helpless. She could only remain silent when the man kicked her into the river.

"Ah!" Theodore cried. "Big Sister!"

"Princess!"

Sylver Cielo shouted as he ran towards the river and jumped into it. Reynold immediately approached Theodore and tried to calm him down. Meanwhile, Richard kicked the traitor who was trying to escape, then bound him with magic. He stared at the river with a worried look because he couldn't see Ruby and Sylver.

"Ruby! Duke Sylver!" shouted Richard.

Theodore, who managed to free himself from Reynold, immediately ran towards the river and Richard immediately caught him. The little boy cried in Richard's arms.

"Father! Father, where are you?! Don't die, Father!" shouted Theodore.

Reynold and Richard froze and looked at each other with pale faces.
