Aptitude test

Almost at noon 2 Warrior come to the city. One is in a white long robe that covers him whole and the other is in a black training dress(keikogi).

These two warriors gives so much pressure on people near them that they went down on their knees. The white robe warrior has a mysterious vibe around him and the black keikogi warrior is like a furious beast who will tear you apart at any time. After they enter the city large welcoming sound start coming from the city gate. Hearing this Eric stop speaking he becomes serious.

After some words with the mayor, both warriors come to the plaza. Scanning the crowd, they proceed with aptitude testing without wasting time. They both went to the platform at the top corner of the plaza. They both took out 5 orbs each and place them on the table in front of them.

Slowly children start going onto the platform. Eric sees the first child go near the one orb and hold it in his hand. Orb is completely transparent. As he holds the orb for a few second a grey light start coming to the orb. Seeing the grey light warrior shake his head and the boy almost cries there.

Controlling himself the boy walks away from the stage. After them, others start going to the stage in groups of 10 for the test. Both warriors examine all 10 orbs all the time. Most of the time orbs shines in grey light for some time they show different color indicating the person passes the test.

Those who pass the test have to proudly stand behind the warrior and those who fail need to leave the plaza while crying. Before today, Eric already confirmed with Lee that warriors can only able to notice his core if they physically send energy to his body for inspection. This information had removed the last of his worries.

Eric sees that just outside the plaza people are gathered. Nobody is in the plaza but they just stand outside the plaza. The plaza is surrounded by thousands of people. Eric finds that most of them are there to find the result for their children. He finds that whenever a child passes the test a loud start from some part of the crowd.

Every time someone has an aptitude orb will glow in a different color. Red for fire, blue for water, Green for wind, Yellow for Earth, White for Light, and Black for Dark elements. Eric sees that there are almost 5000 children present for the test. Eric also joins the line for the test.

Soon few of the children attract everyone's attention. The orb in their hand shines in a rare white or black light. All the crowd shouted whenever someone has these 2 elements. After so long finally it's Eric's turn. He goes to the platform he finds almost 60 children standing at the back of warriors.

He sees that both Jin and Miya are present on the platform. Seeing him coming up Jin motions hii to him while Miya tries to threaten him by motioning her hand in neck cutting motion. Eric ignores them and walks to one of the empty orbs present in front of the Black Cloth warrior. He smiles at the warrior and then picks the orb in his hand.

While holding at the orb he still smiles at the warrior whose focus is on the orb. Just after a few seconds, a dark black light shines from the orb. The intensity of light is a little more than others. He still does not see the orb but stares at the warrior in front of him with a simple smile. Seeing the orb intensity of light in his hand both warriors stared at him and they both nodded their heads at him.

Eric slowly put down the orb. A crazy smile formed on his face. He moves toward the back of the warriors. He looks at Miya with a crazy smile. He then goes to the back and sits down on the floor and become lost in his thought. Sometime later Jin comes to him and starts speaking.

"You know Eric, I have wind natural element."

Eric just nodded his head.

"You know Miya has fire natural element. It's the same as her furious personality."

Eric keeps nodding his head.

"Before you, there are 4 dark and 7 light element people selected. You have the brightest light among them. Does it has to do with potential or something?"

Eric replies that he does not know it. He knows that this happens not because of his potential but because he already has a mana core in his body and the mana core reacted to the orb making it shine brighter. He is not stupid enough to tell his secret to others. Just like that Jin keeps talking to him while he only nodded his head here and there. Eric finds that Miya is offering new clothes to those who are from slum and is in a bad state.

No one rejects her offer and takes those clothes. He then hears Jin explaining how the mayor offers these clothes every year for those who pass the aptitude test. Eric then starts examining the crowd outside the central plaza.

After some time all students get tested Eric finds that out of 5000 only 120 can pass the basic aptitude test. In the whole plaza, only 120 students and 2 warriors remain standing. People outside the plaza are all clapping for them.

Eric looks at the people who pass the test. Each one has a proud face. Then he looks at the crowd outside the plaza. On the outside, each of them is cheering but Eric sense that most of them are in sorrow mood. They are envious of all these 120 who can follow their dream. They have been sad about how they were not able to pass the test and not able to live their dream.

After the test finishes, both warriors do not waste time they motion all 120 to follow them. They start moving out of the city from the large main road and 120 children keep following them. People come to the side of the road to cheer them.

Most of the family members of 120 people are there to cheer them. Children also motion hi to them but they do not stop following warriors who are going out of the city. Eric also finds Kevin there.

He finds Kevin shouting at him.

"DO Not WORRY ERIC, I WILL KEEP MAKING CHILD FOR YOU AND ALSO CONVINCE OTHER TO MAKE CHILDREN."

Hearing this everyone near Kevin has a weird face. Eric also ignores him and do some motions with his hand. He also finds Mayor crying in the crowd. Many have a tear in their eyes but all of them are happy for their children.

With a happy-sad mood selected children went out of the city with warriors to achieve their dream. 2 warriors and 120 children walked toward the army camp present just outside the city. There are many soldiers present there. Eric sees that each of the soldiers is standing in line and saluting at warriors and the children who will soon become the warrior.

Warrior enters the army camp and Eric and others follow them. Just as they enter the training camp Eric finds that there is a large white circle present on the ground. He recognizes in one glance that this is a transportation circle.

He sees that the circle is quite large and there are many different symbols drawn on it. These are magician rune symbols. Eric knows a little about them but nothing more. They come near the circle and then the Black cloth warrior turn toward them.

Black cloth warrior loudly says.

"This is a transportation circle which will transport you to your next destination which is the 'Destiny plateau'. From there you will be instructed on how to join an academy of your choice. Now all of you come onto the circle."

Saying that he and the other white robe warrior both stand in the circle. Following them, all children also come inside the large circle. Black warriors once again speak.

" You will get faint from mana overload so do not worry and do not try to cause a commotion."

Saying that he looks toward the few rare element students who mostly gather around Miya. Eric sees he wanted to say something but he looks toward the White robe warrior and remains quiet.

After everyone stands in the circle White robe man starts transferring his mana into the teleportation circle. After some time White light starts emitting out of the circle. suddenly a bright shine enters Eric's eye and Whoop everything blackouts for him.
