The next morning the boy woke up and as he opened his eyes he saw the big brown dragons. With his eyes open like mandarins. H e screamed as he saw that sight and jumped up. "Good morning roomie" the brown dragon said smiling. The boy opened his wings and flew out of the window as fast as his winds took him. The old dragoness was tending to the trees as she looked at him confused "What happened" she asked calmly. He stopped in his tracks embarrassed and said "I...uh... it was nothing." She smiled softly and said "Clay is a bit weird but on the inside he is the best dragon someone can find." So that big dragon was clay and the old dragoness was Xenia. "I will show you around the sanctuary," Xenia said "There are some rules you should know." He tilted his head confused 'Rules?' before he didn't have to follow many rules except given by the emperor and some by his parents. She smiled and said "This place is divided between male and female dragons, there are some dragon families nearby but till you are of the age you will be advised to leave this place except when given a task and dragons aren't allowed in the area of dragonesses." He nodded as she explained and walked back to the cave to talk to clay. "Hi" he said walking in through the cave. Clay jumped up in excitement "What is your name?" clay asked. This hasn't struck him till now. "I don't know" the boy said "my parent's didn't give me one whenever I asked they said 'only the things that exist are given names so you don't deserve one' and that was it" He sat down on a cushion thinking. "What if I give you one," clay said as he nodded "How about darkstalker?" clay looked at him as he disagreed. Clay thought for a moment and said "Basil that should be it" the boy thought for a moment and nodded that name suited him. Basil looked as clay took out the portrait of a red dragoness "Who is this?" Basil asked looking at the portrait. "This is another one of the dragons who lives in sanctuary," clay said "she is out at the moment but she will return soon." Basil again looked at the portrait of the beautiful red dragon "Oh she looks beautiful and well mannered." Basil said at which clay chuckled, he tilted his head and clay said "Nothing-nothing. You'll get to know soon enough" confused he turned around and walked out of the cave thinking about her. Basil was walking around when he saw the silver dragoness with her face buried in a school. Basil wanted to talk but he didn't have the courage or any topic in which he could talk to her. "Rita isn't that easy to get to she is very shy and not many people have been able to strike a conversation to her." Xenia appeared just behind him scaring him.
