chapter 1

The boy/dragon had been flying for hours now he was in search of a sanctuary where he can stay. Sanctuaries were places like villages but instead of humans they housed dragons. Dragons were seen as dangerous creatures and were ordered to be killed on sight by the king so the only safe place for a dragon was a sanctuary where there were numerous traps and other things that stopped humans from entering the area. He somehow felt he knew the way to the sanctuary it was like an itchy feeling between his eyes which told him where to go as if he had been there many times. He had been flying continuously for uncounted days he needed a rest. He saw a lake at some distance and decided that he will rest there but he was not the only one who planned to stop there because after all fate is twisted. As soon as he landed across from the lake he saw a silver dragoness. She had a sleek and beautiful body and her scales shone in the light as if she was a precious jewel. She was facing the other way and didn't see him. But as he saw her and thought came in his mind only for a second though, it was "If, just if I could spend my days with a dragoness like her." He didn't have the courage to talk to her so without her noticing he took off again towards the sanctuary. Having found the sanctuary he landed a little away from the main entrance and the first thing he saw was probably not anyone will expect. Standing in front of him was a huge brown dragon with his head stuck in the ground and looking at him only one thing came to the mind "Weirdo". The boy was planning to go aside from him and enter unnoticed but hey how could that happen with our mighty fat and then with a huge push the brown dragon took his head out of the ground "that was fun" he said looking at it and looked up to see him and said "Hi" smiling as if he had achieved something very great. Scared out of his wits the boy took a giant leap and landed straight in the centre of the main compound without stopping to look back. When he landed in the centre of the main compound he saw an elderly white dragoness standing with a calm look on her face "Welcome," she said in a calm voice "we have been waiting for you." He was visibly surprised seeing that she did know he was going to come. As if reading his mind she said "There was a pretext of a green dragon coming."(The jade dragons do contain all colours but then can only be seen if the dragon is in the rage of a battle or is standing in a full moon) That surprised him because from what he remembered he was jade so he turned around to see his scales and the colour was different all other colours weren't visible and green dominated most of the colours. "So where will i be staying?" he asked thinking to divert his attention. She smiled so softly and gestured him to follow her. They turned and reached a cave, it wasn't a small one almost 5 dragons can sit there with more room for flying ones "This is mine." He asked surprised. She nodded and said "Yes but you have a roommate." He tilted his head confused "Who is he?" just as he turned around he felt a paw on his shoulder and behind him was the big brown dragon "That was cold of you I went there to welcome you." He didn't want to stay with such a weirdo who went around sticking his head in the hard ground and there were many other places he could go to and better ones "I'm leaving." He declared and turned around to fly but before he took of another dragon landed and it was none other than the silver dragoness "Hi" she said shyly as she stood there looking at him. He wanted the moment to last forever him looking at her beautiful scales but in a moment the white dragoness and the brown dragon caught up to him "There are some more places for dragons to say would you like to know about them." The white dragoness asked. Now he was in a tight spot he had two options whether he will let his pride prevail and will move out leaving the chance to stay in the same compound as that dragoness or will he let his love prevail and move in the same cave as the brown dragon. In the end love prevailed and he said "No, I changed my mind I'm going to stay here." He looked at her and walked up to the cave and settled down for his live at the sanctuary
