RuneLine 1

[AN: Again, this is another info dump, sorry about that!]

PiltOver, Shurima Continent.

"So, who do we send to go against that boy," Melina spoke. Across from her are the 5 councilors who had colluded with her during Jayce's imprisonment. Now that the table has been turned, they are on a tight rope!

"Hmmph! It was your idea of putting the order in the first place, now that you're in deep shit, you want to drag the rest of us to the mud!" One of them said.

"Hoskel, do you think you can back out now? Have you seen the looks of that boy? I know that looks very well, he is not letting any of us off. Sooner or later, he will slowly peel you down from your position. Don't forget, the League is backing the boy." Melina states calmly.

Hearing this, Hoskel paled, he knows that she is right; he had done plenty of shady businesses in the dark, with the power of the League, his secret would soon be exposed if the boy wanted it to! Plus, he had voted in favor of Melina, they are enemies.

"Why are you guys making a big fuss about this? Isn't he just a boy? Just bribe him with women or money and the problem would be solved. He is just a young boy; I doubt he can control his libido. Just throw a woman or two at him." A man spoke., then he turns to look at Melina

"Don't you have a daughter? What was her name again? Mel? I heard that she's a Bella in her school, just send her to seduce the kid within these 3 months."

*SLAM*

"DON'T BRING MY DAUGHTER INTO THIS BOLBOK!" Melina face twisted in anger. Anything is fine, but her daughter is off limit! The bastard dared to involve her girl

"Guys, guys, calm down, even if we can seduce him, how are we going to find the boy? I heard that he had disappeared since yesterday, none of my men can find a track of him." A woman spoke. She had sent people to follow Jayce, but they told her that the boy had magically vanished in front of their sight! She was shocked when she first heard it, then she turned the city upside down, but the boy was nowhere to be found.

"Plus, we have to think about who to send in the upcoming battle. Remember the rule will change accordingly, we can't send someone that's too strong or we will be at a disadvantage."

The room again fell silent.

"How about Camille?" Hoskel suggested.

"Be serious, she's too strong for the boy, the rule will definitely change according to the agreement." Melina disagreed.

"I got a person; I wonder if you guys can hear me out," Bolbok suddenly spoke, his robot face remained unchanged, but his aura became sinister.

*Whisper*

"What!? He came from that place?"

"Are you sure? The people there have unique personalities, especially criminals. You sure you can trust him?"

"Don't worry, he owes me a favor. I trust his personality." Bolbok smiled evilly.

"After all, he only cares about "Arts"."

Grand Cayon, Shurima's Desert.

"Who are you?" Poppy held her hammer and stared at Jayce vigilantly.

"Why and how did you know about the RuneLine?" Soraka solemnly asked, holding her staff.

"Ayo, guys, chill, chill, it's me! I'm still Jayce!" Jayce held both of his hands up. What is wrong with these people!? He just asked a question, why did they get so mad?

"He's not lying, his heartbeat is normal, his soul is pure," Soraka stated, putting her staff down.

Hearing that Jayce isn't an impostor, Poppy also lowered her hammer.

"How did you know about the RuneLine, Jayce?" She asked

"Think carefully with your answer, we have methods to know if you're lying or not."

'uhhhh' He cannot just tell them that he has a system, can he? What to do, what to do.

"I heard a whisper," Jayce answered in a hurry, he is not lying! The system whispered to him!

"WHISPER!" Both Poppy and Soraka exclaimed. They look at each other as if they were communicating.

"The boy who can hear whispers, is it him? The prophecy left behind by the Guild Master, is this kid?" Soraka muttered.

*Beep beep beep* Poppy took out a strange device, looking similar to a phone.

"Hey is the Grandmaster there?" She spoke into the device.

"HE'S GONE? DID HE SAY ANYTHING BEFORE LEAVING?"

"'Leave it up to fate?' Why did he say that?"

"FUCK, YOU'RE SO USELESS!"

*Beep* She hung up.

"I confirmed it, the Grandmaster must have known too. He's the boy" Poppy spoke to Soraka. Soraka nods in response.

"CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON!?" Jayce exclaimed at the side, these people kept ignoring him, does he look like a wall to them? [AN: DonoWalll]

"Sigh, 'Leave it up to fate' my ass." Poppy grumbles, turned around, and looked at Jayce. Now that she thought about it, it makes sense; his strength and abilities are nothing that befitting his age, maybe he is the chosen one.

"You want to hear the truth?" She asked

Jayce nodded.

"Well, it all started before our Guild Master disappeared, he told us that the world will experience a major disaster, and he made a prophecy. Somewhere in the future, it could be tomorrow or even thousands of years later, a boy that could hear whispers will appear and save the world." Poppy points her finger at him, her eyes gleaming with unknown meaning.

"You said you heard a whisper?" She asked

*nods* Jayce nodded. Wondering if he should be excited or worried. Is this the so-called plot twist? He just wanted to enjoy peace and relaxation, why did that damn Guild Master make a prophecy about him!?

"Then that confirmed it, you indeed are the boy from the prophecy." Soraka smiled at him, she had been wondering what the boy, whom the Guild master divinated, would look like. She thought of something like a big, six arms, God-like looking person, never expecting him to be just a scrawny little kid!

"Changed of plans, we're not going to do the normal training routine." Poppy suddenly said.

"Kid, you want to know about Runeline right?"

*nods*

"Then, we'll do exactly just that. First, let me explain to you what Runeline is." Poppy smiled and told him the information.

This world "Runeterra", got its name from a special ability that existed within every creature in the world, RuneLine. Just like One Piece, haoshoku, all living beings have the chance to unlock the ability, but only a few special people can successfully unlock Haoshoku. The same goes for Runeterra, Runeline existed in the blood of every being, only some people are able to manifest their Rune. Although countless eon has passed, many scientists have attempted to study the special RuneLine, but they have not achieved any success.

They might not succeed in finding the mysteries behind the ability, but scientists have discovered a pattern of Runeline! They have concluded that the Runeline of everyone is randomized, no matter if you are the same blood type or family. You might or might not get the same Rune as your friends and family. Then again, the probability to unlock Rune is very slim, with less than 0.01% of the world population.
