Mother returns

*Aaron and Addison wake up to the sun shining brightly through the gap in the curtains*

Aaron telepathy: Addi, the maids are on there way to get us dressed, get out of bed.

Addison telepathy: Yeah, I know.

*Maids enter the room*

Both maids: *bow* Morning Prince, Princess.

Aaron: M-Morning *he says nervously, hoping the maids don't notice his sister death stare*

Aaron telepathy: Stop glaring at them like that will you! Why do you always do this, they already hate us enough don't make things difficult!

Addison telepathy: They don't care about us, they'd leave us to die if they could. But they promised our mystery father their services. They're almost as bad as her!

*The maids start to dress them carelessly*

Addison telepathy: Don't worry Aaron we can use healing magic to get rid of any bruises when they leave, just act like a normal 5 year old kid.

Aaron: Ow! *tears up*

Aaron telepathy: You'd think our bodies would be used to pain by now.

Addison telepathy: I know. In our old life we never got to experience a normal, playful, happy childhood since we always had to stay inside whilst mum and dad worked, and then we went into foster care and never settled again. And now even in our new life it seems like we'll never really be able to be kids.

Maid 1: Stay here and wait quietly until Lady Charlotte arrives.

Maid 2: And make sure you behave when she is here! We don't want to get blamed for your childish behaviour!

Aaron: Y-Yes. *crying slightly*

*Addison looks at Aaron with sympathy then turns her head to the maids and gives them a look of pure hatred*

*The maids leave the room muttering to each other*

Aaron telepathy: We can get the magic books out now.

Addison telepathy: Finally, Ever since we found the hidden room behind the picture we've only been able to read the books two times because the maids keep interrupting us.

A while later

Addison telepathy: She's coming! Put the books back behind the picture!

*Aaron runs over to the giant picture of the king on the wall and uses magic to swing it open he puts the books inside then slams the secret room shut again*

When they first discovered the hidden room they found some things inside, there was a blanket, two pillows, two magic books and a little pouch of some money which the twins saved as emergency money. There was also a magic bag which was mentioned and described in chapter 1 'Introductions'.

Charlotte (mother): There you are, you mistakes.

She has purple hair and lava red eyes. She's dressed in an elegant black dress.

Addison: Hello mother.

Aaron: Good day mother.

Charlotte: Yeah, Yeah, I don't care about introductions. The only reason I'm here is because the king said if you two aren't taken care of properly my status and wealth will be taken.

Aaron telepathy: Did you hear that!? That means are father actually love's us!

Addison telepathy: Don't get to excited Aaron. Don't forget are father is the King so imagine how it would effect his reputation if he left us in bad health, all he's doing is protecting his reputation that's it.

Aaron telepathy: yeah, your probably right.

Addison POV: Sorry Aaron but I don't want you to get to excited just to be completely crushed. If our father had really loved us he wouldn't have left us with this woman.

*Addison looks at her mother wishing she would just leave already*

Charlotte: What are you staring at you frump.

Addison: N-Nothing mother, just how beautiful you look today.

Aaron: So mother, is there anything you'd like us to do for you whilst your here.

Charlotte: I'd like to go sit in the flower garden, you two can serve to me. Maids go get some wine and some appetisers, don't worry about serving me, these two have offered to serve me today. Didn't you.

Both: Of course mother! *they both look at her trying there best to smile*
